I just moved to the West Bend area a few months ago and was shopping around for a decent tattoo place back in February. Smokin Ink was said to be the best in the area, so I thought I'd be in good hand...
I just moved to the West Bend area a few months ago and was shopping around for a decent tattoo place back in February. Smokin Ink was said to be the best in the area, so I thought I'd be in good hands. That couldn't be further from the truth! The original stencil on my back looked great and seemed like it was going to turn out to be an awesome tattoo. However, the artist kept erasing and redrawing the stencil saying that it was "rubbing off". At the end of the session it looked nothing like what I had asked for and most of the details looked crooked and distorted. Over the next few weeks I had tried to get back in to have it fixed and the artist kept blowing me off. Finally my fiance and I went into the shop to get some answers and it turned out that the tattoo artist was new, flakey and as far as the owner would say, could not be trusted. The owner quickly took pictures of this train wreck with another artist and promised that they would fix the hack job for free. We're now in the middle of may and I've been getting the run around ever since. I scheduled a visit with the new tattoo artist for today the 14th and they told me that they double booked over an appointment that was made weeks ago. No refund, no fix, just stuck with the worst tattoo I've ever had. Now in this nice weather and I'm too embarrassed to show.

Took my daughter in for a nose piercing. I got one as well. Shilow did a fantastic job! Made us both feel very comfortable. I recommend Smokin' Ink for all your piercing, and tattoo needs!

I've been going to Shilow since he was at his old shop. He is absolutely fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable about piercings and really wants to make sure you have the best experience possible. He's always available any time I have questions and really goes he extra mile to make sure everything heals properly and looks the way I want it too. His shop is incredibly clean and I've never had issues. It's always my first choice for myself and always my first recommendation for anyone interested in a piercing!

I just moved to the West Bend area a few months ago and was shopping around for a decent tattoo place back in February. Smokin Ink was said to be the best in the area, so I thought I'd be in good hands. That couldn't be further from the truth! The original stencil on my back looked great and seemed like it was going to turn out to be an awesome tattoo. However, the artist kept erasing and redrawing the stencil saying that it was "rubbing off". At the end of the session it looked nothing like what I had asked for and most of the details looked crooked and distorted. Over the next few weeks I had tried to get back in to have it fixed and the artist kept blowing me off. Finally my fiance and I went into the shop to get some answers and it turned out that the tattoo artist was new, flakey and as far as the owner would say, could not be trusted. The owner quickly took pictures of this train wreck with another artist and promised that they would fix the hack job for free. We're now in the middle of may and I've been getting the run around ever since. I scheduled a visit with the new tattoo artist for today the 14th and they told me that they double booked over an appointment that was made weeks ago. No refund, no fix, just stuck with the worst tattoo I've ever had. Now in this nice weather and I'm too embarrassed to show.

He's always available any time I have questions and really goes he extra mile to make sure everything heals properly and looks the way I want it too. His shop is incredibly clean and I've never had issues. It's always my first choice for myself and always my first recommendation for anyone interested in a piercing!
