I recently got a nurse pin-up tattoo by Barry. I chose him to do my pin-up after much research as he has many nicely done pin-ups posted to his online picture gallery. I went in for a consultation with Barry this week with a tattoo design drawn up and ideas set in stone and needless to say I will not be returning. He didn’t even take the time to sit down and discuss my design, we stood in the waiting area and it only lasted for a good 3 minutes. Not personable or helpful at all. Be prepared to wait months for an appointment and for an expensive cost. Now getting it done within 3 days of talking with the artist at another well known place for cheaper and in one session. Although my previous tattoo was a great experience thanks to George. My next one was a nightmare thanks to Mallory! She was unorganized, sloppy, and didn't listen to what I repeatedly told her I wanted. I wasted 6.5 hours and $500 on something that I now need to have fixed. I've had great experiences with the piercers at this shop. Kelly did my forward helix flawlessly, and when I had to get them removed, Katie was helpful and easy to talk to. I really enjoyed my interactions with both of them, and highly recommend their services. I've heard raving reviews about the artists here, and I love their artwork, but I've had lesser experiences with them. For instance, I had a consultation appointment with one of the artists, and I felt like it went well. But then I never heard back in terms of design ideas or setting up an actual appointment. I would have appreciated better communication here, even if the artist had wanted to reject doing my tattoo. Overall, it's worth your consideration for either piercings or tattoos. Their rates are reasonable and most of the staff is easy to socialize with. The interior decoration is reason enough to visit! Read Less

I went in on Friday, April 14, 2017, and the female at the front desk was RUDE. I went in with 3 other people. I explained that I was in town visiting family from Ohio and would only be in town a few days. I told her my sister-in-law and I both wanted tattoos done on either Monday or Tuesday of the upcoming week. She then very abruptly asked me what we wanted (just small lilies), she interrupted me mid-sentence and said they couldn't do anything, they were too busy. Why... would she ask what we wanted if there was no availability???? Then while I was asking her a question, she answered the phone while I was still talking to her, and was just as rude to the person on the phone. Needless to say, she was not helpful, so we left and went elsewhere. We will NEVER go back to this establishment when I am in town and we will not be passing on good word of mouth comments to friends and family. I got my second ever tattoo there yesterday it was the first tattoo I got done there. I can describe Waukesha tattoo company in one word which is amazing. I got a wrist tattoo done by Goerge he gave me a very fair price and I was very happy of how well the tattoo came out. I for sure plan to get more tattoos at this company. The atmosphere is awesome the staff is so friendly and caring. Goerge was a very nice tattoo artist and he loves his job. Got my first tattoo done three years ago by George and my second tattoo done by Leah two years ago. Both are pretty simple, but great. George and Leah we both very friendly and helpful. WTC was very accommodating on getting me in right away for my second tattoo, even though they were pretty booked up with appointments. I'm looking at getting another tattoo soon and hoping to sit down with one of the artists at WTC and plan it out. This place is clean, cool, professional, and the staff is great. I have had one sleeve done there (actually, it has a little shading left to do, but it mostly done), and am in the process of having a sleeve done on the other arm. In both cases, Leah has done the work. I absolutely love working with her. She is very helpful in going over what will and will not work well, and does an excellent job laying everything out. On one arm, there was some pre-existing work that had to be worked around, and she did an excellent job with that, re-drawi...ng a few bits of it several times until everything flowed well. On the other arm (the one in progress), there is once piece that is getting covered up and one piece that is being re-touched and incorporated into the whole. Again, and excellent job doing both. She has a terrific eye for detail and really takes pride in her work. Also, she is relatively quiet, which I appreciate a lot. Kind of a weird thing to review someone on, but I had some work done in the past by an artist who did a great job, but loved to talk and for me that was just draining. I haven't had any tattoo work done by anyone else there, but they all seem like a great group that does an excellent job. I have had lobe stretches done but both of the piercers that are there, and they both were very professional and did a good job. Whoever is at the front desk when I have gone in (there have been a few different ppl), either for an appointment or to by gift chips or whatever, has always been friendly, cheerful, and helpful. Finally, the studio itself is always clean and has a really cool decor. There is always some interesting art on the walls, and it changes a fair amount. All in all just a really great place.
