I went in today to get the migraine piercings. I have had chronic migraines for the last two years. I go to Jake for all of my piercings. He's very professional and very thorough. I'm not too much into the vap accessories. Great selection of jewelry. The prices have went up a bit, but you get what you pay for. If you have kids - this is the place, they can be in the shop. Huge plus. Never a bad experience with my piercings or owners. Read Less

I got my two helix piercings done here, and they were done perfectly. The service was great, he did a very good job, and he was very friendly. The pricing was good, especially considering that anywhere cheaper in the area was not very proffessional. We we're out the door in probably 10-15 minutes, and with nicely placed helix piercings I might add. They still look great! Definitely coming back to get my tounge pierced when I'm old enough! If I could give zero stars I would. The owners are racists and attacked me. I went in Monday night and got two piercings by the owner who's been doing piercings for "20+ years". I got my tongue pierced and initially did not like it but I figured I'd give it three days to heal. Thursday, I went back to the shop because although the swelling went down, the piercing was in a spot that hindered my speech significantly so I went back to see if there was anything that could be done about it since I LIKED the piercing just not the spot. It turned into "I made the markings on your tongue and you said it was okay.!" "I showed you the purple spots on your tongue and if was a straight dead on piercing.!" I didn't even go in there looking for my money back or anything. Just if there was anything to be done. He blatantly blew me off and as I'm walking out a lady (assuming his wife) started being very disrespectful towards me and putting her fingers in my face while talking to me. I, am not the one for that and told her to not put her fingers in my face. This is when this lady, proceeded to try to HIT me over the counter so I defended myself. She then picked up a mirror and tried to throw it at me ! Shattering it against the door behind me. At this point I'm walking out the door when I see from the corner of my eye this lady jumping over the counter coming after me. Outside the shop, she put both of her hands around my throat and tried to choke me. This is when the owner, comes out with a baseball bat and grabs me by my hair. Piercing is good, but they ended up charging me extra than what I originally paid for, and I didn't leave any tip that got added on later. I am still looking for my receipt for evidence, and I did dispute the transaction. Also noticed they updated their prices, way too expensive. Read Less

I went here to get my second hole pierced after having a bad experience at Clarie's. The owner is amazing, very friendly, honest, and experienced. He has been piercing for about 20 years. They NEVER reuse any needles, have sterilizing machines, and get the machines checked every month. I was worried about the needle not be clean, but he let me watch him take it out of the package and throw it in the sharp box. It also is, at a very good price. I love this place. My guy Jorge hooks me up every time. All the people are great and they make you feel like family. The owners are amazing and aren't afraid to make conversation, and if your getting your first tattoo? It makes it better. the artwork that my husband and I had done turned out well, but the environment was completely unprofessional. there were kids running around everywhere including in the tattoo area. my husband set himself up so that the little kid ( maybe 3??) didn't keep bumping into me while I was being tattooed. there were a bunch of other people coming in and out just hanging out. I felt like we were uninvited guests in the middle of someone's house. we will not be returning nor will we reconvene this place to any of our friends. Read Less

This was the most unprofessional tattoo shop I ve been to. The artists did not have any work to show me -- the woman had some photos on her camera because she said the last place stole her books. This is unacceptable for a tattoo shop. There was a hispanic artist who said he recently moved from the south; he was tattooing a woman and the tattoo was rigid and very amateur looking. Also, there was a heavy smoke smell in the area where tattoos are done. I would not recommend going here for a quality tattoo. I went to Ultimate Tattoo in Madison the following weekend and was VERY pleased with their professionalism, service, and work. Read Less

I had always been skeptical about getting work done at Public Enemy Tattoo. However, I went in yesterday to have an older tattoo of mine that I had gotten elsewhere fixed up. Matt, my artist, explained to me that the tattoo I had was near impossible to fix and would never look perfect. He suggested getting a new tattoo to cover up the old one and I am very happy with my decision. The detail, colors and the hard work and effort that he put into it was absolutely amazing and I will be back for more. The shop is very clean and everyone is very friendly. I have read previous reviews where people had complained about their tattoo from Public Enemy getting infected. This is NOT their fault. They give FULL aftercare instructions and what happens to your tattoo after walking out that shop door is entirely your doing. Get tattooed by Public Enemy. You will NOT be disappointed. Read Less

I have had 2 tattoos done at Public Enemy. My first turned out great! That's why I went back a second time. The second tattoo did not turn out so well. I had a different artist that I did the first time. I initially was told that I bruised. I could clearly see what I thought (and was told) was a bruise, I wasn't surprised since I bruise easily. 6 months later, that "bruise" is still there. I was informed by another tattoo artist from another shop that it was an "ink blowout" underneath my skin that is generally caused by the way the tattoo gun is being held or using the wrong needle speed. I now have a huge mark that looks like a giant bruise (3in x 6in). Now, I have to shell out additional money to fix a tattoo by Public Enemy's artist.Would recommend one artist their (from my first tat there), but can not recommend the other. Read Less

I had a tattoo done here, and am so disappointed in the results. The customer service was fine, but the artwork leaves a lot to be desired. I had a large piece done on my back shoulder and side and am now facing a big coverup situation because of the lack of talent. I am very disappointed. Read Less
