I've enjoyed using Firehouse for piercings in the past and have had really good experiences there. As far as tattooing goes, it's been a hit and a miss. Both my sister and mom have been tattooed at this shop and my sister's tattoo looks incredible! Unfortunately only two out of three of my mom's tattoos turned out. The last tattoo she got here was severely messed up. She'll have to get it fixed - and hopefully at a different place or by another artist. Overall, I'd go back for more piercings, but any tattoo I get in the future will be done somewhere else. Read Less

I got a tattoo done there and I love it. The color is brilliant and the lettering is beautiful. My only problem is the lines around the lettering. They are a bit shaky. Not saying I don't love my tattoo, because like I said, I do. They are very clean and personable. I have seen and been to a lot of tattoo shops! Not one has looked and smelt so clean as much as Firehouse! When I got my tattoo here the artist was finishing up another persons tattoo after he was finished I watched him clean up his area and it was amazing how well and detailed of a job he was doing! I dropped off the idea of the tattoo I wanted a head of time and by the time it was for me to get it done he had it all ready to go for me! He took his time and talked to me through out the whole tattoo! The lining on my tattoo is by far perfect and he knew the exact colors that I was going for! Got my first tattoo done by Tim a week ago. Walked in and told him I wanted something covering my shoulder. I went with some roses he drew up and have gotten comments daily nearly everywhere I go even from strangers on how great it looks and how amazing the detail is, and it's not even finished! This place was amazing. We walked in there with a group of five on a Sunday all wanting to get very different tattoos. The guys there were very friendly and easy going. The customer service was great and their work was even better. They accommodated our large walk-in group, tolerated our shenanigans, and we all left with amazing new tattoos.Read Less

Just went to Denny last month to have an old tattoo covered. He did a great job, very professional and exceeded my expectations. He worked with me to get my tattoo exactly right, drew up several drawings and tweaked them until I had just what I wanted, also offered free touch-ups. Tim and Tony are the best artists that I have seen. Tony has done 2 out of my 10 tattoos and Tim has done 5 out of my 10. I am currently getting a full back piece from Tim. I wouldnt trust to go anywhere else. They make you feel comfortable and relaxed, which is the state you need to be in to get a tattoo. I tell everyone I know to go there. I believe I have already referred about 10 people to this location and they have had no complaints. They love the work. I will continue to refer to FireHouse as well as get more work done. Firehouse Tattoo is defiantly my all time favorite!After being referred to this shop by numerous people I decided to check them out. I am so happy I did. Tim doesamazing work! I have had tattoos done in many different shops in Madison. The last 2 pieces I had done by Tim were perfect. I also had my cover up done at this shop and the horrible line work I got from a different shop is not invisable. I wouldn't go to any other tattoo shop in WI.
