I got a left rib tattoo. I came in with a concept and a horrible sketch because I do not know how to draw. I explained what I wanted each symbol and part to represent, creature tattoo artist took my idea and really elevated it into exactly what I wanted. After the initial draw up, I told her about some minor changes that I wanted and she quickly made the adjustments. She didn't make me feel guilty for wanting to adjust small things, on the contrary she was super supportive. Furthermore, her specific style and artistic touch is something I couldn't even imagine to think of and was so incredibly ecstatic to see what she did. You could tell she put thought into it and I really felt like my tattoo was unique and personalized. This was my first tattoo so I was really nervous, and she reassured me and was so considerate and warm. In terms of actually getting the tattoo, I was really impressed with how quick it took and how nicely it healed. Definitely would recommended her. Creature is fantastic! Getting tattooed by her was by far the best tattooing experience I've ever had. She really listened to what ideas I had and created something lovely. It was a great change of pace from your typical artist- some beard face grumpy guy who doesn't talk to you. This kid is a genuinely artist. The pieces she is working on at her desk for other clients was just amazing. I can't see myself ever going to another shop again and would travel just to have her tattoo me again. Since finding Todd at Positronic, I only go here. First tattoo was all linework, which was phenomenal. Todd is a master with the shader, so his coloring and shading is great. For my most recent tattoo (below, in progress), I brought in a picture and general idea of what wanted, and he hand drew a custom design that was exactly what I wanted, letting me tweak parts as i saw fit and listening to my input. I've been getting tattooed by Todd for the last 5 years and I can't recommend him highly enough!  He is an incredible artist with a lifetime of experience in many mediums of art and as long as I've known him I have never seen him tackle any request without 150% of his time and energy.  He is more than comfortable with many different styles from american traditional to photo realism, so don't worry about whether or not he can handle what you want.  I've been following him around from shop to shop over the years, so I was really excited when he told me that he was going to open his own place.  The new shop is beautiful, clean, and located in a great, easy to find location.  I would recommend Positronic Tattoo to anyone looking for high quality tattoo work!
