This place made my first tattoo memorable. I walked i n and everything was fine. We sat down and waited for Annie to be done and ready for me. Then the owner came up to uhh s and started talking to my friend, she was underage and he was obviously surprised and I brushed it off but she was uncomfortable. Then I got into the chair, I needed to take off my jacket and wear a tank top becau se my tattoo was going on my collar bone. The owner came up and said "woah! You were really hiding those!" And looked down at my chest multiple obvious times. I only recently turned 18 the month before. With my case, this place showed a lack of professionalism and poor customer service. I was recommended by a good friend of mine to get my tattoo with a specific artists at this place. My friend scheduled the appointment for me and sent my sketch to the artist by email, as the artist requested. When I showed up for the appointment, there was no record of it. OK... things happen.... I spoke with the artist in person and scheduled the appointment at the moment. I asked her if she had my sketch and she replied that she hasn't check her emails in a while (?) (Okay, let's start from scratch...) I showed her my sketch and we went over what I envisioned. She made a copy of my sketch and scribbled notes on it and requested a $20 deposit, which I paid. My appointment day arrived and when I was already at the place, I received a call from the artist cancelling me because she was sick. (OK... people get sick). I asked at the counter for help to see if perhaps another artist could take me. They started looking around trying to figure out the details of my schedule but they couldn't find anything. The owner approached me and at this point, I'm voicing my disappointment. He apologized for the hassle and tells me that he will be taking me to make sure I'm satisfied with them. OK... I believe in giving chances. Went over my tattoo idea with him. He also scribbled notes on a piece of paper and scheduled ANOTHER appointment. I showed up to my appointment (3rd one) and he brings up a total different sketch! That appointment was ALSO canceled after he said that he now needed more time to work on the new sketch. He asked me to send him an email with the sketch and the details of what I envisioned. I did this, and to make sure, I set my email with a receipt confirmation. I was recommended this place by a friend, and told it was quality work, nice artists and no drama.  That is absolutely the case.  The team of artists here is professional, and stand behind their work.  I would get tattooed by any of them.  I have been working on some large pieces with Amelio, the owner.  As someone who is heavily tattooed (around 40 currently), I have dealt with many shops, artists, and designs in my lifetime.  Unfortunately, there is a lot of attitude in this line of business, and I've dealt with my fair share of jerk artists and shops.  I have never been to a shop this wonderful.  They really care about their clients, and want them to be happy.  It is so nice to have my visions become beautiful pieces of reality.  I drive a long way (about an hour and half/80 miles) to go to this shop, because they are so phenomenal.  These people are truly diamonds.  I will shout from the rooftops how fantastic this shop is.  Go here and you'll never go anywhere else.  Top Gear rules, plain and simple! Staff seemed friendly although became unprofessional in my opinion. Came in, made appointments then get a call the day before the tattoo that the apprentice is too nervous to do it and is going to pass me onto Adam, although now the books were full so couldn't get me in for another month now when I chose that specific day for a reason. Then told me to call back to reschedule so I call the next day when I have my schedule figured out and the apprentice is not there and no one knew what was going on, not even the person I was being passed onto to do the tattoo so they tell me to call back when the apprentice is there so I did and then now the mailbox was full so my call wouldn't go through. This is a fantastic place to get tattoos and piercings done, whether you're a first timer or a seasoned vet. I got my first tattoo here for my 18th birthday and absolutely fell in love with the place. I returned for my lip piercing, my second tattoo, and a touch up since. I honestly wouldn't trust any other shop in Sheboygan to take care of me the way they do here. The artists are very friendly and passionate about what they do, you can tell they want you to fall in love with the ink on your skin, and that sort of dedication to the customer is very important to me when permanently altering my body. The friendly, open environment makes it very easy to relax and open up. Not only with the artist you're working with, but with everyone else in the shop. You never know what kind of stories you'll hear, what reasons people have for getting their tattoos, or what sentiments they hold, but you always know that everyone who works in the shop cares and respects them.These guys are phenomenal at working with a budget to give you what you want, make it look great, and without breaking the bank. Their prices are very reasonable and their work is fantastically beautiful. (I'm so rubbish with names and I'm sorry I can't give a proper shout out to the artists I've worked with, I'm much better with faces!
