I had never gotten a piercing in my whole life until I came here, looked up a few places and this was the closest with the best reviews. We called to make sure they had a piercing person there because the first place I wanted to try didn't have one. A few weeks ago my sweet, soon-to-be four year old girl informed me that she would like to get her ears pierced for her birthday. Traditionally in my family that requires a trip to the mall to have a Claire's employee shoot a stud in your ear. Having had my own experiences over the years with both the piercing gun and professional piercers, there was no debate over which one I would choose. There's a parking lot! I wasn't expecting one, being that I usually end up having to find street parking anytime I go to Bayview. Since we got there shortly after noon, it wasn't busy. We didn't have an appointment and only waited briefly while another customer was being helped. The shop is clean and welcoming.Sheri was so kind and patient while explaining the process to my daughter and showing her her jewelry options. I was able to be with her and hold her hands. Sheri offered her a tissue to wipe away her tears after the first ear and waited patiently until she calmed down enough to do the second ear. Five minutes, a stuffed pet, a coloring book, and a few temporary tattoos later, the tears were gone. And despite my daughter telling Sheri that she "never wants to come back here ever again!", I'm definitely keeping it in mind the next time I'm thinking about a new tattoo or piercing! Read Less

I went in for a delicate flower tattoo under my collarbone and I had a great experience. I was immediately greeted by Sheri and she was super helpful and nice. The shop was super clean and cute. My tattoo artist was Walt and I couldn't recommend him enough. He was able to do exactly what I wanted and I know it required a lot of talent because the flower I wanted had such fine detail. He first drew a stencil of a picture I brought in and his drawing looked better than the picture I brought in. Before doing my tattoo he made sure it was exactly what I wanted and in the right place and made me feel comfortable the whole time. My tattoo turned out amazing. The lines are so delicate and the shading in the small flowers is beautiful. Walt is amazing! 10 out of 10 -would recommend this place! Read Less

The staff here is super friendly! My daughter's nose ring came apart and she was freaking out! They helped her fix it and showed her how to fix it. Today I went to go get a wrist tattoo and loved it! Went in to get a tattoo for my daughter & instead of jumping on some tattoo off the internet the owner suggested to allow her to change the piece up and add some specific detail to it for my daughter. I loved that suggestion & ended up getting my daughters name, which the owner custom drew, for now & go back in a week to get the first piece done. Will deffinetly be going back for more work. I got my first tattoo here. I was really nervous because I am not a good with pain or needles. I still went through with it though and the woman there is SO nice. This review is specifically for the merchandise portion of the shop--although, while I was in the store looking for some jewelry, the older woman running the shop noticed a tattoo of mine that was in need of a touch-up...she complimented the artistry and quoted me a great touch-up price, which tells me she has great attention to detail and can drive home a sale!Every time I go in, the store lobby is clean and inviting, and they always have a well-stocked and reasonably priced selection of all kinds of jewelry (Monroe, labret, navel, barbells, plugs, tragus, gemstones, rhinestones, stainless steel, etc. etc. etc...) Nothing I've ever bought exceeded $12, and the saleswoman I mentioned above always makes great small talk and is sweet and amiable, as well as alternative and badass- as every tattoo/piercing shop owner should be!
