Will write a thero review with photos; however and for now. i am in awe. my tattoo is fairly big with lots of detail and work. ADAM W. Is my tattoo artist. He worked 6-7 hours straight. Only three 3-4 min breaks to go to the restroom and loosen up. I have many types of flowers and foliage that are very detailed and full of multiple colors. Types of flowers that are significant to me but.. overall I gave him control on the artistic style. "i wanted to let him do what he does... best." He drew it up. some free hand on my skin and he nailed it. The 7.5 x 4.5 rose looks beautiful. Multi Color is phenomenal. Will be in again at least 5 more times. Tattoo turned out okay, not really sure how one can screw up a stencil. I just had some line art done and the lines were not followed as well as they could've been. The artist wasn't the one I was told I was getting and very unprofessional, which was a shame as the one I was told I was getting, I really liked his work online. The artist I had was talking to his buddy the whole time while doing my tattoo, it would've shaved time off if he'd just done it and stopped screwing ar...ound. He kept tattooing and stopping to talk, resumed, stopped through the session. Set up took a while and my appointment didn't start until 40 minutes after it was supposed to. Atmosphere was ok, the music was cranked REALLY high, if you are an artist the first priority should be your customers and they should be asked if it's set at an adequate volume. You can definitely tell who the seasoned artists were when you walked in as their work and professionalism showed, some need a few more years under their belt I think. See More Read Less

I spent a long time looking around south eastern Wisconsin for a tattoo shop I really felt understood my ideas and would produce the art style I have in mind. I found Adam at Candy Apple and was very impressed. My wife now gets all of her tattoos here as well and between the two of us I think we've been in for just over 15 sessions ranging from 2 - 8 hours a piece. We've sat down with Adam, Dwayne, and Krissy and everytime has been a great experience. Got a tattoo here. Came in a week prior to getting my tattoo with my design. The guy first drew it up when I got there for my appointment. I paid ahead of time and was quoted for a 2 hour tattoo. The tattoo only took about 40 minutes and the guy shaded part of my tattoo totally incorrect making it look different than it was suppose to. Read Less

This place might have good artists but the are some of the most rude,unprofessional,no people skill people i have ever met!!!! I will drive to Artrageous Ink or Stickys before ever stepping foot in this place!!! You want that attitude go to a rude town but you don't belong in Manitowoc!!!!
