I have wanted to get an old tattoo covered up for a couple years now. I knew exactly what I wanted but I couldn’t get it on paper and I wasn’t sure where to go. A good friend recommended to see Albert at Colt’s. I came in for a consult with him, he explained what would work and what wouldn’t with the cover up and he drew up exactly what I wanted. I have had almost all my tattoos and some piercings done here at colts timeless tattoo and every experience is better and better all we’re done by Albert Reyes who is a very talented and skilled artist, I would never go to another place or artist! This last year, I decided that I finally wanted to move forward to get the tattoo that I have wanted to get since my Grandfather passed away about 8 years ago. Because this was my first tattoo, I went in having a lot of questions, extremely high expectations, and was honestly anxious about what to expect. I had tried to work with other tattoo artists in the past but didn't feel like I had the best connection to get what I wanted. At Colt's, I worked with Maggie Gosselar, who was extremely professional. She worked with me to find a design that represented what I wanted in a form that would be timeless; I really didn't want a tattoo that would be similar to what other people would have or said to be trendy. This was a feat because I ended up getting a tattoo of a feather. Maggie spent time consulting me and drawing on me to find the perfect placement and design that worked for me. She listened to what I wanted and needed, took into consideration what this tattoo meant for me, and talked me through what I needed to know in order to not only take care of the tattoo but to keep me calm during the actual tattoo session. For a tattoo that has such an extreme amount of detail, Maggie worked quickly and finished with something that I never would have expected to be so great. I had extremely high expectations of what I wanted and Maggie blew me away with what she produced. I get stopped at least once a week to have people compliment the tattoo and ask for the artist. Maggie is in high-demand as an artist for a reason; she produces amazing artwork and cares about the art and people she is working with. I plan on working with her again in the future. Read Less

At first I felt odd going to another tattoo artist but Marc Nelson was awesome! The shop was super neat and clean and everyone was very friendly. I had both arms done which took two sessions , so it was nice to have an artist that was laid back and super easy to talk to as well as very talented! I've had nothing but wonderful experiences at Colt's. I've had two tattoos done by Maggie Gosselar. Her work is incredible and she really takes the time to nail down exactly what you want. She is extremely patient, personable, and warm. I've had positive interactions with the rest of the staff - they're always professional and courteous. Plus it seems like they all have great camaraderie, which just makes the shop feel like a good fun place.
