Horrible experience, but I'll be professional about it. Deposited my 80 dollars and gave a concept of what I wanted to get tatted. I was told I'd get my concept drawn 2 days later. 2 days later came, nothing was drawn. I figured, ok, maybe he's just a little busy, so I said the following week would be ok. Following week comes along, Wednesday, still my concept wasn't drawn. I was told by Friday it would get done, Friday rolls around, concept still not drawn. I was told, my co...ncept would be shown to me by Saturday night, so I set an appointment to get tatted on Sunday afternoon. Saturday nite, still nothing drawn. Got a text saying it would be drawn early Sunday morning so i could get tatted later that afternoon. Sunday comes around, and I get a text saying, he was going fishing and that my concept hasn't been drawn yet so I couldn't get tatted. I met Jackielyn last fall with my fiance Daryl. Daryl and I had planned to get tattoos this winter and he was going to design them. I lost Daryl in December and could not find what he had done with his rough drafts. So In early February I went in to Jackielyn to get my first tattoo. This one was for Daryl. We incorporated a heart with a spud going through it as he was an ironworker. This past weekend I went in to get a scar covered on my arm that I didn't want to see anymore. Beautiful work on both. Best most amazing talented artist. JackyLyn who is the owner has done almost all my ink and is now covering up some of the ones she didn't do. She can customize anything or make it work best for you. I have even given her ideas and JackyLyn brings them to life. Fantastic atmosphere and is cozy and comfortable. I have learned my lesson and will never go anywhere else for my tattoo's again. Exceeded expectations! I was in over the weekend for the outline of a large shoulder tattoo to cover up a not-so loved arm tattoo. I worked with Paul, who was very open to my input in the design process. We met twice for consultation before we did the outline, but looking back his original design was very spot-on to what I had said I wanted. The shop is beautiful and very open and spacious, not at all the small cubby experience of other places. I was offered tea or coffee while I waited. The tattooing itself wasn't bad at all, and it's healing up great. I can't wait to get it colored in! I really feel like I'm wearing a piece of artwork. It looks great and I definitely feel cooler. The atmosphere is pleasant, professional, and low key (which I like). Paul Schmidt did an incredible job; reworking an old, horribly executed tattoo of mine. Consequently, I've back to him 5 times since then. I like custom ink, so I just gave him my concepts with some specifics and he had each draft ready to review within the week...they've all turned out awesome. Jackie Lyn the owner is very nice and looks to be quite talented herself. If you're looking to get some new skin art (or rework), I would highly recommend this establishment. Read Less
