I went with 2 of my friends yesterday to get piercings for my birthday. The chick who did our piercings was awesome! Really glad I did my research and decided to go with tattoo obscura instead of somewhere else. I got my forward helix pierced, a double helix piercing, and my belly button. This place is wonderful. We had an appointment with Beetlejuice for a couple tattoos, and when we got there we were greeted by just about everyone at the establishment. Beetlejuice was very friendly and excited to do our tattoo for us, and talked with us about everything so that we could make sure we were 100% happy with it before we even started. The staff here are wonderful! I've been in several times for body jewelry and just yesterday for a tattoo with Rick. He took the time to get exactly what I wanted. Do not let the crazy looks fool you, this shop is the best thing ever! Hands down best experience! Walked in and immediately felt welcome. Super clean environment and friendly employees. Friendly artists, amazing work, fair prices, and all around great service. I refuse to go anywhere else. Each artist has their own individual style, but it is ALL done wonderfully. The atmosphere is welcoming, and they have portfolios for each artist to display previously done work. That being said, they are usually rather busy. So walk-ins for tattoos or piercings is actually a very rude thing to do to artists in general, and especially rude to do to BUSY artists. I got a new piercing in my ear here.  The staff was very friendly and the pricing was reasonable.  I could tell that they were knowledgeable, and that the woman piercing me knew what she was doing.  They are also very clean, and sanitary which is obviously very important.  If I have any other piercing needs I will certainly return here. I got two microdermals in my lower back and they look fantastic. I wasn't sure I wanted to get them, but the piercer talked me through the entire process, maintenance, and removal. She was very knowledgeable and patient. The actual piercing went so quick, and she had a new girl do one. Both girls did an awesome job. This is a really nice Tattoo shop, very clean. The owners greeted me personally. They have allot of artwork to choose from, or they will draw something special for you, that's what they did for me. I've had three tattoos done there and they are all works of art! I took my son there for his first tattoo, he's already gone back for his second. If you are looking for someone who is meticulous in their work this is the place to go. It was very private, I wasn't displayed behind a piece of glass like they did at another shop I went to in Janesville. They aren't cocky about their work, they really listen to what you want in a tattoo.
