I had the privilege of being tattooed by Brooke a couple of weeks ago. She was- in a word- phenomenal. She patiently waited for me to review her portfolio, then helped me to pick from her beautiful custom designs. Even though the area she tattooed was 60% scar tissue, Brooke's linework is clean and straight. She even stayed two hours past the closing time to ensure that my tattoo was perfect. My husband and I took our four year old daughter here yesterday to get her ears pierced. We wanted to go to a place that would be sanitary and accurate as well as patient and gentle. Brooke took great care of us, and my little girl was a rock star!!! The facility was very clean and not a place that I felt was inappropriate to have my children (4 and 6 years old). When my daughter freaked out after pierce #1 Brooke was patient with her and allowed her to calm down before proceeding with the second ear. And, when her earring got snagged on the car seat right after the piercings, Brooke readjusted the earring, cleaned the ear, and replaced the earring back. I came in today for my first tattoo with Mercedes and everything was above and beyond what I expected! First off, I called in that day and was able to get appointments for myself and my brother. We are not from the area (just passing through on our way home from a family weekend away) and I wasn't sure what to expect, but when we walked into the shop it was nice, clean, and very professional looking. Went here with my mom to get a couple of tribute tattoos for a relative who committed suicide, both being our first tattoos ever. The tattoos Jessie drew up for us from our ideas we came in turned out absolutely amazing. I thought I liked the ideas I had prior, but after seeing what she drew up for me, she knocked it out of the park. I couldn't have envisioned our first tattoo experiences going any smoother. She was very helpful in the whole process and made it about as stress free as possible. My friend and I had a craving to get a tattoo and after calling up a couple of shops and getting shot down for walk ins we ran across Impulse Tattoo and talked to Jessie. Although it was less than 2 hours before close she was happy to have us in to peform a small tattoo on each of us. She did a fantastic job both with design and technique and was so gentle as well that even though mine was on my ribs I could barely feel a thing. We ended up staying in the shop until almost 3 hours after close to get both pieces finished and they came out anazing. I will definitely be going back to see Jessie for my next tattoo. Read Less
