We came in for their micro tattoos special. I decided to wait but my daughter decided on a cat skull on her ankle. They were professional and quick but precise. I think we were out of there in 20 minutes. It's inside of the old Starship and it looks like they are going to remodel the front of the house. I would not recommend going here, very, very unprofessional! Had an appointment for just a little tattoo at 4, we were told to come at 3:30, which we did. We waited for an HOUR before he even started (I don't even know his name because he didn't introduce himself). While we were waiting, he was sitting around waiting for food to be brought back, AND when it was, he ate in front of us. The piercer I had, Ben, was extremely knowledgeable, had a very clean work station, and made me feel totally comfortable. Immediately when I walked in, I felt welcome. The entire staff made me feel like I belonged there, which (sadly) isn't the norm for shops in this area. Right away, they were talking to me like an old friend. They complimented my other tattoos, then were super thorough with their cleaning before getting me in the chair. Got a lil piece done for my bro that passed this past December, not only did he make me feel entirely comfortable and made sure twenty times i liked the placement shading and outline, he made sure to respect my brother he even asked his name before he started the first line. A friend and i came in on a random saturday for ankle tattoos. Had to wait for a couple ahead of us who both got tiny tattoos. Took about an hour for them to be done. So let me say why I only give this place 2 stars. First off they do good work and its due to the people they bring in to work under their name. But I would say in my words of opinion is just to would not get a tattoo that you can't get done in the same day. The reason is and this has been on my mind for months but two people started on my back peace and both left after starting on it and one of them started one that what i was told shouldn't of been started cause it was a tattoo couldn't be mimic off paper. Then not to be judgemental but I could have the third person work on me but the words he said after I asked if he can do what what the second person did since its good what he got done and the third person say " I think I can do it " did not settle with me. The word think is to me a bad word to hear in a place like this. My key word i want to hear is " I can ". So for that reason I only give two stars and sorry but im taking my project some where else. I just had 2 tattoos done yesterday by Josh. A Rose and infinity symbol with my daughters name and a flower in my ear (cartilage). I'm just now noticing that her name is upside down 🤦🏽‍♀️. I'm surprised no one noticed it, including myself. Josh had his apprentice (pretty sure that's what she is) make up the design.. grrr buuut what can ya do (besides get a bigger tattoo) lol. Had work done over a month ago, next appointment was supposed to be 2 weeks later. No one bothered to call me to tell me my artist wouldn't be able to make it. 3 weeks since then and still little to no response to my messages. The communication and courtesy is very unprofessional. I suggest Josh! He is an amazing artist and a great tattooist. He does great color and great detail. I am very happy with my tattoo he drew up. Story behind my tattoo: I am from Ohio but have lived in Milwaukee a really long time so I wanted a way to represent both. Ohio is home, but I lived in Milwaukee most of my life. So I have the Ohio state outline, with the Milwaukee skyline inside Ohio, with the word "home" linked into the outline. Ohio is home, but so is Milwaukee. Had a tribute piece done of the Cubs for winning the World Series. The artist name was Double D. Like the nick name mines Big D. For such a small tattoo he did an awesome job. The details in the bear are incredible. I usually don't go to other Artists because all my work has been done by one person but didn't have the time to go to Racine and want this done now.
