I have been a patron exclusively at all the various, and increasingly better, Colourbox locations for each of my piercings throughout the past 15+ years. (LUV the current location best!) They are a piercing institution to Green Bay area, and more. I now travel 45 minutes, passing all Fox Valley area shops, just to get pierced by ANY of the ladies on staff. Another major plus is the low pricing for piercings and jewelry. Which keeps my "addiction" manageable. The store is always cozily arranged, the piercing rooms look and smell pleasantly sanitized, and the piercers talk you through the process, taking great care to ensure a safe, and clean experience. Their simple aftercare changes as the industry standards evolve, and in my experience, has ALWAYS ensured an infection free healing process. In addition to nailing the cleanliness, all the ladies are incredibly knowledgable, helpful and usually hilarious!!!!! It is the eclectic, fun, sometimes sassy and mostly adult-humored atmosphere you expect from a piercing parlor. I personally feel at ease with each new hole poked, because I know any problems would be promptly fixed. I walked in a half hour before closing to get my cartilage done and the lady greeted me as soon as I walked in she was very polite! But along with being polite she was also very comforting as I was a little nervous( as I am with any new piercing)! I've had multiple piercing done here (including an industrial, a double helix, and a navel piercing) and have never had any issues! Will never get another piercing here. I got my nose pierced on both sides back in February and I am still not all the way healed due to the fact that the girl that pierced my nose put nose rings that are to small in it. I am afraid to take them out and replace them because they still hurt!!!! I will end up needing to go back to them or to someone else and have to pay to get bigger nose rings put it. I came in two weeks ago for wacky Wednesday by myself for a daith piercing. It was a last minute decision as I've struggled with migraines my whole life, but more so severely the past 6 years. I had a slight migraine when I came in. I was unsure but am so glad I went through with it! (Even though the clamp slipped after piercing and it cut my ear and scared the crap out of me, ha.) It's been 2 weeks with no migraines!!! A few days before I came by you, I went to the ER with t...he most severe migraine of my life and now I've only had a pressure headache from crying! I've had other piercings done here before and had a great experience with them everytime. Very clean laid back setting. I got my nose done yesterday and for some reason got a little dizzy after. The girl that pierced it was so nice and understanding and making sure i was ok before she changed out my rook hoop also. She got me water and was very patient. My cousin and I went to get our noses pierced on wacky Wednesday and couldn't make it there til about 730 pm which was a half an hour before they closed. Received bad customer service when I went to purchase a nose stud. I stood there for several minutes while one lady helped other customers and an older lady sat down behind the counter talking. She finally came over and said "What's up?". Within the second I picked out my jewelry she had went back over to the people she was talking to and then I stood there for a couple more minutes. I said "excuse me" a couple times, but she kept on talking and ignored me. I had to get the other girl's attention so I could finally check out. I was expecting more professionalism then this. I had a great experience! I was a walk-in on a Saturday afternoon to get my tongue pierced. I was greeted and signed in within 5 minutes of walking in. I was given a wait time right away and it was dead on! The lady running the counter was great. She was very helpful, polite, thoughtful and just good at her job (with myself and all other customers I observed her take care of during my wait period). The woman doing the piercings was very great! It was quick and easy without any problems. I would totally recommend Colourbox and am very happy with my experience.
