The artist I worked with a few years ago was awesome. He did a simple design for me as a gift for my mom's birthday. The tattoo looks almost as good today as it did the day it was inked. I was really nervous because this was the first time I was getting a tattoo from someone who wasn't family and on top of that, this was only my second tattoo. I decided to send a Facebook message instead of calling and I got a reply almost instantly. We worked out all the details and I just had to call the next day. So I called and I was able to get in the same day and have it be completed. Eric was my artist and turned my design into something extremely beautiful. During the process he would pull the gun away for longer periods of time (ex: 5s instead of 3s) when the pain was too much. He didn't really talk to me, which I loved because I'm not really a talker, but he made sure I liked everything that he was doing before proceeding. I would highly recommend Artrageous Inc in general, and Steve W. in particular. I've had tattoos done at three local shops and Artrageous is by far my favorite. The location is clean, well lit and welcoming, which helps to set customers at ease. I sat on three occasions for my most recent tattoo and have always felt comfortable. The staff is very friendly and professional. During my first visit I got to pick the music which was great. I think Steve did a great job with my artwork considering I only had a general idea of what I wanted (but still managed to be super fussy). I have gotten many compliments on the color choices and design. He is very laid back and patient with people- I talk a lot when nervous (six tattoos and needles still freak me out a bit) but he conversed easily and kept me distracted while still maintaining his focus on the job. Got my first tattoo ever by Steve W. Was a little nervous but he did an amazing job. Turned out better then I had hoped. Staff in general did an excellent job. Artrageous is top notch when it comes to quality tattoos. I've never been unhappy with a tattoo from there. I'm currently working with Rob on a sleeve and he was able to put into a design what I couldn't even really put into words. I just knew I wanted certain elements and wanted it to flow and work and he made it happen. I never doubted his judgement and have given him control. I'm amazed by the quality and details. I've had 3 tattoos done here, and am satisfied with the quality of work received. I did have an issue with last tattoo (different artist, no longer there), but Steve W was willing to work with me to give me the product I was looking for. I highly recommend him, as he does beautiful work and is very willing to work through making your dreams translate to ink. Artrageous is second to none on so many levels: I've gotten 12 tattoos there in the last 15 months and have more scheduled. The guys are outstanding artists. I've gone in with general ideas and they take those ideas and turn them into pieces more beautiful than I could've imagined. Sounds cliche, but it's the truth. The guys are friendly and personable, I've witnessed 3-4 customers getting their first tattoo. They were kept calm and were reassured that they're doing a great job, none of them left without a smile on their face. I've actually never seen anyone leave unhappy. The shop is clean, there's plenty of parking and you get your choice of music. They give back to the community by collecting school supplies, toys and food throughout the year.
