I got my daith piercing done today at this shop. I had went in there on Monday, and I didn't know that they were closed, so I talked to Cody. He gave me his business card and told me that I can come back if I want to get his piercing done. I came back today and had walked in. He was very welcoming to me. He let me know everything that he was doing and what the procidure would look like. I was freaking out about getting this piercing done, as I found out that it might help headaches. I explained that to him before, and he wanted to let me know that it doesn't always help. As I was freaking out because I was scared about a needle going through my ear, he was trying to calm me down and was talking to me the entire time. I will definitely go back there again! Read Less

I went into big guns to get my cartilage pierced, something ive wanted to do for a very long time. Once inside i felt very welcome and thr peircer Cody Bauer was very helpful in explaining to me the process. I had wanted cuffs and he explained to me that i should start with studs for the healing process because of the weight of cuffs and gave me the information on how to order cuffs so i can start picking out the ones i want (since they are custom order). Once my peircing wa...s done he explained the aftercare procedure and my boyfriend who was with me talked to one of the tattoo artists. He wants to get a tattoo of the tramatic brain injury awarness ribbon which is silver..... silver isnt an ink color for tattoos. Instead of just shutting him out like other artisits he has talked to Danan said he could make it happen. That he could make the ribbon look like silver to our eyes! I went here to get the Monroe piercing done by Jim. Jim is an absolute amazing piercer. Out of all the different places I've been to, to get pierced big guns was � hands down the best ever. Jim makes you feel so comfortable that you forget your about the needle that's about to pierce you. I will never go to anyone else again for another piercing except Jim. I've had work done by Big Guns in the past and had always been satisfied. Unfortunately, I went in recently to purchase a new stud for my Monroe. The jewelry was supposedly "high quality" and cost several times more than the parlors in my college town, Stevens Point. The staff was inceredibly friendly, and I asked if he would put the new stud in for me. He did so, and I tipped him for his generosity. The next day, I left for my internship in Oregon. The jewelry fell out while I was driving, without me even touching it. I wasn't able to find the stud, and had to drive three more days until Oregon. Not only did I pay 4 times more at Big Guns for this "high quality jewelry", I had to pay to get my Monroe re-pierced on top of the jewelry in Oregon. So long story short, I went in to get a cute new piece of jewelry for my face, and ended up spending over $100 to get my face re-fixed, when I could have bought another $10 piece of jewelry which actually stayed on my face in the past. Horrible- Had a dermal replaced FRIDAY that was part of a pair. Went in only to get a piercing by was up-sold into purchasing a new jewelry because they did not have the matching color of my previous piercing. Decided on 2 matching flower crystal head pieces so each of my dermals would match. Was shocked to hear that they were $40 each, but was told they had a "lifetime" warranty. After the piercing, both the new and the old piercing were put on by THEIR STAFF. After they were done the piercer asked if I wanted a picture. I bent down into my purse to grab my phone and turned around to see the piercer already has HIS phone ready. (um?..) Followed the aftercare instructions and when I went to replace the bandage the next day (SATURDAY) one one of the flower tops was missing. I called first thing the next day (Sunday) but they were closed. Got a hold of them Monday. Was strung through 3 people before being handed off and prepped to speak with me as "the girl who doesn't understand we aren't giving her more jewelry." I explained to the manager how it happened within 24 hours and he continued to tell me how if he gave me jewelry that he would have to give every customer jewelry and continued. I wasn't asking for a million dollars buddy. I did your business a favor by supporting it locally, buying more of your product, purchasing your services, as well as leaving a tip. I understand jewelry gets lost, but that should not happen when it is put in by a professional and lasts less than a day. Manager made NO attempt to right the situation, offer a replacement, or even an apology. I would never go someone where the jewelry only lasts a day. Management needs an etiquette lesson. Cheap.
