I have been to Karma multiple times and my exceptions were exceeded every time.They are very friendly and make you feel comfortable. There prices are very reasonable and have a very clean area. All of my piercings have been done at Karma and none of them got infected. They heeled very quickly. They be sure to let you know everything from cleaning to when you can change your jewelry. Inna was absolutely amazing, she did a great job on my piercings and and explaining everything in perfect detail for me to understand. She was super quick and It didn’t even hurt! She even noticed other details on mine and my friends piercings from other places and helped us with them. She joked and laughed with us. All around a great person. I've been wanting to get my nose pierced for a while and a friend finally pushed me to do it this last Saturday night. We arrived at Karma about 7pm and it was pretty busy. Nonetheless, Inna greeted us as soon as she finished with another customer in back and had us start on paperwork. As she continued with other customers who were there before us, she always came back to us, having me read instructions for care of the piercing as well as having me pick out my jewelry. When it was finally our turn, she explained the process and asked if I had questions. She was efficient but attentive. My piercing was perfect, reasonably priced, and I felt that everything was clean. I felt comfortable there and she made sure to let me know I could stop in with questions and/or to get help if I decide to change my jewelry once the piercing heals. If I ever decide on another piercing, Karma will be my choice! Read Less

I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. To start out, we waited in the shop to check in for about 5 minutes before the lady behind the desk finished her conversation with her friends who were there. I repeat - friends. Not customers. When she finally collected our paperwork and asked us what jewelry we wanted, she kept getting distracted by her friends, as stated above and couldn’t finish our conversation. She then informed us that each jewelry we picked out would be an up charge about $10. When I asked her why that was she stated that she doesn’t usually work here so she doesn’t actually know if that’s true or not. After this so-called “receptionist” finally stopped being distracted and remembered what she was actually there for, we finally picked out our jewelry. We waited in the shop for about an hour and 15 minutes before we noticed the lady who was piercing take her wallet and her keys and walked out of the building leaving the rest of us standing there twiddling our thumbs. No explanation or anything. Just walked out. (There were about 12 of us waiting to get piercings, not including the four friends of the receptionist). We waited for her for about 15 minutes before we finally decided to just forget it and leave. On our way out we saw her sitting in her car smoking a cigarette and on her phone.... I understand the need for a break at work, but perhaps she could have gotten through the rest of us quicker had she not been ringing everyone up after their piercings instead of having the receptionist do this. After all, what is she even there for other than to hand out clipboards and false information? Read Less

My experience at Karma was amazing. I only go to places that have been recommended by close friends or family and I would highly suggest Karma for your next piercing(s). They were able to get me and 5 other girls in for the same day appointments as well were very professional calming. We were talked through the process and made sure that we understood it as well as aftercare. The best part was the numbing cream that help ensure that it didn’t hurt. I was just at Karma getting 2 piercings on my cartilage and my friend got their earlobes pierced. She is so friendly and very professional. The shop was clean and tidy, everything was perfect. I have suffered from debilitating migraines for most of my life sometimes as many as more than 20 a month. After hearing some friends with the same affliction tell me they experienced almost complete relief after having their daiths pierced, I decided to give it a try. I received several recommendations for Karma in Eau Claire, but I also checked out some other shops as well. When I contacted Karma, they seemed to be the most professional and the most knowledgeable about pier...cing the daiths specifically for migraine relief. I decided to make the hour trip to Eau Claire the same day I called because I was told they could see me right away. When I arrived I was greeted warmly by Amanda who also turned out to be the one who did my piercings. She could not have been more wonderful! She explained everything to me beforehand, helped me pick out jewelry, and helped calm my nerves. The pain wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting because she took her time, helped me with my breathing, and gave me a rest between ears. I definitely had the feeling she was more concerned about me than just rushing through and getting done. After both ears were done, she let me rest in the chair a little while, and I could feel an immediate difference! Everything seemed "brighter" and my head seemed more "open". It's a very difficult feeling to describe, but it was wonderful! I rested in the chair for about 5 minutes until I was sure I was ok to drive, paid, received lots of great information about aftercare, and thanked Amanda. I did not thank her enough however because she did my piercings last week on 7-6-17, and I am absolutely elated to say that I have not had a migraine since then!! Not having that constant pain has opened up a whole new life for me, and I am a different person. If you suffer from migraines, please consider getting these piercings done. Even if they don't work for you, you can always take them out. If this is something you are considering or maybe you are on the fence about it, I would strongly suggest giving Karma a call. I've had my nose pierced before and wanted it redone. I was extremely disappointed with my experience. I got there and the whole process took less than 10 minutes. The person who pierced my nose talked so fast I felt like I was being hurried out. Even though she knew I had it pierced before, I still should get a thorough explanation and time spent on the process. She pierced my nose and it began to bleed quite a bit. She blamed it on scar tissue but it had never bled like this before. There was blood on my chin and even on my shirt, and she let me leave the building with blood all around my nose that I noticed once I got to my car. On top of that, she used too small of jewelry and it created a big bump on the inside of my nose so I had to take it out. I would never go here again. Read Less

Got my belly done and a day after my whole body broke out in a heat rash looking thing while my throat started to swell. I went in days later to a new shop and it cleared up as the owner of that shop told me it was against the law to pierce with the ring that they did it with. Read Less

I had my daith pierced in March. My earring accidentally fell out yesterday (my fault). Karma staff are all very knowledgeable about what daith piercing can do for those suffering from migraines. I am 57 and started with them at age 16. I've lost partial vision in my left eye, seen countless neurologists, been to the University of Minnesota (I'm in a textbook), Mayo Clinic in Rochester, had Botox injections, taken what seems like every painkiller and medication known to the... human race. I had been told by people I trusted what daith piercing can do and after what I've been through was more than skeptical. Then one day, in the middle of lengthy attack, decided what the heck. It won't kill me and if there's even a minute chance that it will help, at this point I'm out of options. I did my homework, and everyone I talked to and everything I read led me to Karma. I had a bad headache the day I walked in their door and it was gone when I walked out. I know it sounds crazy but it's true. I've had a few extremely mild headaches and I've realized those are what other people experience and ibuprofen makes them go away! What a concept! I got my Daith done by Inna, I was pretty nervous not being used to different peircings like that. Inna was amazing even though she was super busy she was attentive, I got a little light headed and hot and she had no problem getting me water and a wet rag and letting me sit for a bit. i had very good experience here i had a woman name Ian and she handle the piercings very well i got both my daith pierced and it was my first time getting anything like that done since i have only ever had my lobes pierced. She was very fast and efficient, obviously knew what she was doing. i even started to feel light headed from seeing the blood (because i am a wuss) and she quickly got water and a cold cloth and told me to take deep breaths she handle herself very well, i would defiantly use her again for any piercings. thanks Karma! I got a dermal and the lady was so rushed that It was put in crucked and eventually the bottom of it started coming out and when I went and showed her all she did is rip it out (without notice!) Wtf!
