Took my daughter here for ear piercing as I read that needle piercing is less painful and less traumatic than gun ear piercing. They are extremely professional- made sure I had all the proper documentation and that my daughter was calm and ready to do this. They won't do it if the child is crying and upset. Im new to Green Bay and wanted to find an artist to start tackling a few ideas I had for tattoos. I asked every person I saw in Green Bay with quality work where they went... And every last one said 3rd Dimension. A friend and I saw Chad for our tattoos. He listened perfectly to what we wanted and made adjustments while keeping what was important to us in the piece  to ensure it holds up and looks it's best. They came out out PERFECT. I have several tattoos and his line work is crazy clean, shading was on point, he was professional and personable. Bert was up front when we came in, and made us incredibly welcome. I was looking through my Facebook memories for today and on 3 of them from different years I complain about having a migraine. In 2012, I complain about the migraine I've had for a week. I'm so thankful for my daith piercing. I was able to enjoy being outside in the spring and summer and have only had a couple minor headaches that went away with otc pain reliever. When I got it done Burt told me that he had heard other people say they worked but he thought it could be a placebo effect so as far as he was concerned he was making my ear look cool. Placebo or not, I have been able to enjoy each day without having pounding migraines causing me to throw up and have to lay in silence in a dark room and no longer start the morning taking 2 Alieve as preventive measures. I had a tribal done on my back that I designed myself containing my son's name several years ago. They were very good about working with my design by integrating the lettering into it. Recently, I had them add to it working my two daughters' names in, too. The work is top notch, no one ever can tell the work was done years apart, even when I point it out.The shop is very clean and welcoming. The staff is friendly and professional. I agree that all the workers are very helpful and nice. I went to get my labret done and it was done crooked, the owner said he would re-pierce it just have to wait 1-2 weeks, I am now told that I will have to wait 3 weeks more. Now I see from his point of view he doesn't want it to heal right back into the same hole. They are a very nice staff. Read Less

I chose 3rd Dimension based on their great reputation, and I definitely wasn't disappointed! I had sketched my own design for a tattoo on my back and the artist added my son's name for me in letters that flowed with the design perfectly. I got my industrial and my first tattoo done here. When I had my industrial done he warned me ahead of time that it may not stay because of the shape of my ear but I went ahead with it. He was right but, when I did end up having problems with it he helped me out and took a look and told me that piercing my ears more would not ever work just because of the shape of them.When I got my first tattoo done he was seemed excited. He took his time and walked me through all of the steps. He warned me when he was going to start and I was really pleased with his work.I've also had bad experiences with a place ending in Box. The people at 3rd Dimension are much more pleasant and seem to truly care about people's comfort levels. Read Less

I wasn't going to go to 3rd Dimension anymore after katiengale's, (screen name of somebody), piercing experience from Colourbox reviews. I was afraid of that happening to me. I went into 3rd dimension's shop to see for myself if I should go there or go to the Colourbox. I found out that the person that did that piercing on her no longer works there. Still paranoid, I asked what if that happens to me? I was told that before the job is done, I check it out in the mirror- see if the mark is to my approval, if not they will fix it before it's pierced. I've always gone to them and had good experience, I just wanted to get the facts straight before I went there again. So happy I did. And by the way 3rd Dimension workers....there are two really bad reviews that I know are people from another shop trying to trash you. Keep doing what you do. A few Friends and I wanted to get some piercings done so we went to a place that has Box in there name. Well one of the group got pierced she was so scared and the piercer did help her calm down at all and then when she did the piercing she had to do it twice. It was just bad. So we left, none of us were going to get our piercings there. We went and got something to eat at the mall, and saw a girl with the back of her neck pieced. She had told us about 3rd Dimension. We got a card from her so we called and made an appointment. When we got there we were all a little scared cus we didn't want to have the same thing happen here that happened at the other place. They all made me go first since it was my idea. We went in the room to get pieced i told him how freaked out i was and calmed me down before he even started to pierce me. The piercing went great and so did the other girls. We all healed fine except the girl that went to the other place but 3rd dimension helped her when she had problems even though she didn't get it done there. Also I went back for a tattoo and it turned out great. I'm so happy with what i got done there I recommend them to all my friends. 3D crew is great . Read Less

I got my tongue pierced at 3rd Dimension and i am so happy i went there! Abby was my piercer and she was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable. Everything was clean and sterile. After the piercing was over i got a little light headed and she leaned my chair back and gave me a soda to get my sugar up and the soda was free. i felt like that for about 10 minutes and she didnt mind it at all. she wasnt in any rush even though it was close to closing. A week later she had me come back in to make sure my tongue was ok and to see if i could get a smaller bar through sucessfully. I got my first tattoo there by Chris, who by the way came in on his day off to do this. My brother and I got matching tattoos in memory of our Aunt. Chris not only adjusted the drawing I had but made it perfect to what I wanted. The staff there was really nice when we first got there I was very nervous and they assured me that it really isn't as bad as I had it built it up to be. The lobby was hospital clean when I was there. Also the room was spotless as well. Chris took time to perfectly place my tattoo and make sure that it will look the way I want it to. When he finally started the tattoo he was very gentle. Though it really wasn't as painful as I thought it could be he let me know that if I needed to stop at any time I just had to let him know. I love my tattoo it is absolutely beautiful. If I decide to get another it will definately be done by Chris! I would highly recommend Chris and 3rd Dimension for anyone who is considering a tattoo! I first went to 3rd Dimension Tattoos when I 18 or 19 when I got my first tattoo. I wasn't very sure on the design, but I had an idea of what I wanted. Chris took what I had brought in and made it even better. He was very considerate and wanted to make sure I was comfortable while I was getting it done. He did an excellent job, and to this day I still love it. And about 2 years ago, I went back for my second tattoo while it was my friend's birthday. She was getting one that day, and I said I'd go with to support her (plus I just wanted to get another tattoo). Chris did my tattoo first, which took all of 5 minutes, and he did just as great on it as he did on my first one. He even remembered doing my first one after he took another look at it. I constantly get compliments on my tattoos, and I proudly have the studio's bumper sticker on my car. I highly recommend this place, and I will be going there for all my future tattoos. Read Less

I will always go to 3rd Demension from now on. The staff was real down to earth, and they took their time making my tattoo be the way I wanted it to be. The tattoo artist, Chris, did an amazing job! The design means a lot to me and it looks perfect! I also decided to get my nose pierced by Burt. I gave him a lot of crap prior because I was so scared, but he calmed me down, was real nice about it, and was very articulate about where the piercing went. After hearing from a few friends that 3rd Dimension in Appleton would be the perfect place for me to get my eyebrow pierced, I finally went down there with a few girlfriends and did it. I must say that i left very impressed and with an eyebrow piercing. Bert (the owner and piercer) helped me out by asking all my annoying questions, and did not pressure me at all. They were extremely patient with me and all my annoying questions! They let me see all of ther sterilization stuff and explained to me exactly how I needed to take care of my new piercing, complete with written instructions!! THANK YOU 3RD DIMENSION!! I got four peircings here so far, and one tattoo.I have been coming here since they first opened.Before they opened I went to Electric images and Doodles, and was completely unsatified and disgusted.But with 3ed dimension I was really satisfied with the work, and precautions they all take, and how clean it is. One thing I don't understand is the peircer. He was really cool, and nice at first, and the last couple times that I have been there, he does seem .... moody, or something along those lines.He did change alot.Maybe he's sick of his job or something.Anyhow, their shop is always spotless clean, and when someone does help, they are pertty nice.I would not go anywhere else for body work. I always tell my friends about this place.Of course people have their own prefences.The only way to know for sure, is just to check it out. Read Less

I had decided as a treat for myself I would get my navel pierced, so my friends and I went down to third dimension to look at jewelry and perhaps even get it pierced that day. So they had a pretty good choice of jewelry, and I had found a nice dangly one for my belly, however no one seemed interested in helping me, so my friends finally get someone to answer ?'s bout the piercing, however....the guy (I don't know his name but he was the piercer there) was really rude, and seemed full of himself, so i decided to look thru the books instead.....and not feeling comfortable there at all, my friends and I left, and will probly not be back for any kind of piercing! This studio is definately not the place to go for piercings or tattoos. I was treated very unprofessionally and rudely, especially by the piercer, however the tattoos artist wasn't too bad. The tattoos and piercings were mediocre from what i saw in the books and in person. This isnt the worst place to go, but definately not the best Read Less
