I had a 1.5" nape of neck piercing done here 10 years ago and I STILL have it!! The experience was very quick, calm and comfortable. Aftercare was extremely effective and efficient. I still do salt water soaks when it acts up, usually fixes it in a day. The name sounds raunchy but it is as clean, organized and relaxed as a dentist office. Highly recommend both Twan and Roach they both do phenomenal work. Had to get a marriage band done by Twan because of tendon issues and his work is always superb. He did some cover up work for me years ago and it's withstood the test of time. He did a cover up for my brother and it was excellent too... When my best friend moved to Georgia Roach got us in the day we called and we got brother tattoos. Anyone who speaks bad of these guys have no clue what they are talking about. I came in here on a whim today because I needed a new nose hoop. A few years ago I stopped here and walked right back out because the guy at the counter had awful customer service skills and it seemed dingy in there. Apparently they are under new ownership because my experience today was a 180 positive! The minute I walked in, I could smell the reassuring scent of antiseptic, a huge plus. The man at the counter was on the phone, but politely told us he would be with us in a moment. I looked at a few of the artists' albums and was very impressed with the work I saw. As it turned out, the man helping us goes by Dr. Roach and was the artist whose work I'd looked at. I was impressed and told him as much! Doc Roach took the time to help me find the best hoop that was most similar to the one had in. The price of the jewelry spoke my language ($10) so I was game! I asked him if he would be able to replace it for me and he willingly obliged.   Although it took more time than I am sure he had that day, Dr. Roach put the new hoop in for me. I took notice that he was meticulous about sterilizing everything he used on me. I was able to see him open all of his tools from their sterile packaging. He was patient and focused on what he was doing with little small talk other than to explain what he was doing while replacing the hoop! He was gentle handed so I had little pain and no bleeding, even when he had to use a taper to enlarge the hole for my new gauge.He and his staff wear scrubs and of course gloves while working with clients. Doc Roach was patient with my questions! When I asked how long he had been tattooing for, he let me know that he has been tattoing for 20 years! The Flesh Chamber is the greatest tattoo and body piercing shop i have ever been to. I have gotten my ears pierced by Travis many times and he has not disappointed me at all. granted who have to know how he talks and that hes just messing around, but i know he doest have time for finks who need to do some research before they come in. I noticed when I walked in first a man named Travis, All of the employees where wearings scrubs, and their was music playing was inviting. I recently had an industrial peircing done by Travis, and he alligned it perfectly. The healing process was smooth, and he had given me a very detailed cleaning and aftercare breifing. I also went in recently and Travis looked at my peircing. He then instructed me to get Tea Tree oil for my ear. Very knowledgeable about peircings. My girlfriend recently got a tattoo done at Flesh Chamber. Her tattoo artist was very friendly and did not try to sway her from what she wanted, and gave her many options. I recently went to flesh chamber to get my lip pieced and the guy who helped me (Travis Steinburg) was more than rude. I simply asked him a few questions and he treated me like an idiot and had no time for my business. I thought he was just having an off day and gave him another chance the next day I came in and it was even worse. He told me he was no time because he was booked, but didn't even offer to make an appointment. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!! I have been tattooed from coast to coast. Some shops were good and others ok. I have been getting sleeved at this shop and the work is very good, the prices are more than fair. I am getting exactly what I want, the artist works with me and as I wrote, I am getting what I want. I see some people are freaked about the price, well ya get what ya pay for. Would you want a ""62"" Rambler that i s cheaper then a ""08"" Buick? I would rather pay a little more and get what I want. ya can always sell a the car, not a tattoo. Highly recommended. Read Less

I thought I would check this place out & get a price quote.....boy, let me tell ya---I got a whole lot more than that. Can we say ATTITUDE??? This place is frickin outrageous on their pricing. All I wanted was a tattoo that was just shy of 2"" long by 1"" wide (a small rose & banner on my ankle). They had the nerve to quote me $135 for a very simple tattoo. They may claim that they are good at what they do but so are some of the other artists in the Fox Valley. Not too mention, yeah...they may have trophies but when your wife is the damn judge, OF COURSE you should win one!!!! Anyhow, I found a place called Underground in Kaukauna & now I am the proud owner of an ankle tattoo! And it only costed me about $55. He also had a very clean work area, wore gloves, and was very good about covering everything in site to avoid any contamination. i think its really odd to see such different opinions on the place. i was referred there by a friend who had gotten 3 of her tattoos there and swore they were the best. ive now gotten 2 of my tattoos done there and i love them. everyone who works there are really nice and friendly. its a clean and inviting place to go to - nice rooms where you can watch movies while getting your tattoo done. i love it and tell all my friends to go there. a few friends and i went to Flesh Chamber to get our noses pierced and after sitting in the lobby area for almost 10 minutes someone finally came to talk to us. we tried to ask some questions and were met by answers like we were complete idiots. i don't know everything about piercing, but i just asked a few easy questions. when i asked for a quote on a tattoo they wouldn't give me a price unless i had the exact, and i mean EXACT picture. well i can't give them a picture if i need them to draw it up, which they wouldn't without making an apptointment. very rude overall, and from what i'm hearing more and more of now, I'm not the only one. I have been to Flesh Chambers enough times to know that its the ONLY place that I trust to handle and perform my piercings... I first had my tongue pierced there and it turned out perfect. I have had no problems with it since.. I also had my nose pierced there. Perfectly done, healed well. My sister went there to get her nose and navel pierced... My little bro to get his cartiledge pierced... My friend to get her tongue pierced... My mother plans on going here to get her tattoo covered.. And I plan on going back too. Now this studio is unlike any i've ever seen anywhere, it's in a completely different level of tattoo & piercing studios. I brought my friends with me, and we all had our navels pierced by a kid named Damien, I was skeptical at first because he only looks like hes 10, but after looking thru his portfolio and getting a tour of the shop, I felt more at ease. The entire piercing for me with aftercare only took like 5 minutes! I barely felt a thing, and it is perfect, my other 2 friends navels also turned out perfect, and did not take that long to heal. The piercing room was a nice private room, with an automatic dentist chair in the center, from seeing the tattoo rooms and the rest of the sho, I will not go anywhere else EVER,and I am sending ALL of my friends here too! Now after getting piercings & tattoos at several different studios in the area, this place blows them all away BY FAR!
