I went and got my Helix pierced. This was my first piercing in a long time and I was really nervous. I have a fear of needles and pain. But the lady that worked with me was really nice and helped distract me while she was doing it. She also answered all my questions even ones not related to the piercings. I walked in without an appointment and they were able to take me right away. It was my first time getting a tattoo and John did it. So so so clean and they’re very careful about using new tools and equipment. I felt comfortable and Ive already recommended it to all my friends. Paid $60 for a small ankle tattoo which is totally worth it since I’d rather pay more to ensure it’s sterile and professional. I will definitely come back if I want to get more tattoos in the future! Love this place! I needed to get a fairly large cover up done and looked all over for a good price with somebody with some talent and found it here! They even do permanent make up which I intend to come back and get. I love my cover up even though I still need to get the rest of it done, they did an amazing job. Let me take breaks through it and I scheduled the time and day just to make sure they had enough time. since then I've sent to other people their way and they've had the same reaction.  Thanks guys!! Ron is an amazing artist! He worked with me to create an original cover up design based on three images I loved. He managed to tattoo almost 1/4 of my back in 6.5 hours because I needed to do it in one session (so I only had to take one day of vacation time off work). I was worried about the cover-up portion but he made it look beautiful. I told him I wanted clean lines with minimal shading and he really listened. About a week ago, I got a daith piercing for migraines. Kim was my piercer and she was absolutely amazing. In fact, she was so great (and quick) that I also had her stretched my almost closed industrial piercing so I could wear jewelry in it again. I couldn't be happier with my experience at Cherry Bomb and with Kim. I am currently trying to think of other piercings I could get since it was such a great experience. I went in for a daith piercing on March 1. Valerie was my piercer and she put my mind at ease and was very thorough in explaining the process. The shop is clean and decorated with awesome old-school pinup art. All of the staff were very friendly. Valerie opened the needle and jewelry from sterile packaging in front of me, as any good piercer should. My only complaint is that my piercing still bleeds 2 days later, but that's just my body. Got surface piercings on my collarbones by kim and the whole expirience was great from start to finish. She was very knowledgeable and personable and made me feel very comfortable and welcome in the shop. The shop itself was very clean and generally just nice to look at. there are quite a few martinsburg tattoo shops but this is the only one I would reccommend.  i like that they sell crazy clothes, platform shoes, jewelry and makeup here, too.i had a friend doing the piercings here who was fabulous but has since moved.  the owner kim, does great piercings.  i've gotten a full upper arm piece done by Erikka who is also no longer there.  she did a custom piece for me inspired by Salvador Dali's elephants.  I went back to get the background done by Matt and our appointment was cut short, but what he did was great.  I enjoyed singing along to Tenacious D while he worked.most people who go in there get script, flash, and little angels all day long.  anyone in there is sufficient for these simple tattoos.  if you want a portrait or something more detailed ask for Matt.  he's award-winning and extremely talented.  his portraits are some of the best i've seen.  tip him heavily, he deserves it.the guys all in there joke around with eachother and joke around with the customers, too, so it's a nice relaxed atmosphere.  some of the guys annoyed me because their sense of humor was based around mocking and teasing, but, whatever.  typical guys.  the place is clean and friendly.  will be back soon to finally finish my arm hopefully! i patronized cherry bomb for several years. unfortunately i've decided to stop giving them my referrals and business because of the unprofessional behavior displayed by all of the females working at the establishment. luckily the artist i went to is working in a new shop now, so i can continue to get work done without having to deal with their sour, ugly attitudes. i work in the customer service industry and can comfortably say they must be making a killing in profits to treat loyal customers so poorly.
