My wife found this place for our daughters 18th birthday tattoo on Yelp. It's easy to find on fourth plain, there is enough parking and the shop itself fine inside. The front door needs to be adjusted but I can forgive that.Our daughter had her choice of tattoo picked out for several months, a simple line drawing of four elephants, they charged $80. Very fair price, it took them both (my wife got the same tattoo at the same time) about 45 mins. my daughters work was done by someone who's name escapes me, sorry. My wife's work by Kevin. They both did a great job, my wife said today how little scabbing she is having and how smooth the tattoo is after just a few days. Our 18yo is thrilled with hers. She got hers on her ribs and her artist was very respectful that it was her first tattoo, making sure she was ok several times.This was a simple tattoo so I can't really speak to the artistic capabilities of the artists (the book up front showed fine artwork) but the place was clean and the people were very nice, professional and respectful to my young daughter. I called ahead and found all information I needed to know they where so nice. When I got there the paper work was super fast. I got an cartilage “ helix “ piercing and they walked me through all of it. I saw they open the needle and clean everything before and after. She is the best I definitely recommend her. Read Less

Heads up! Luke Martinez just started working at this tattoo shop. I am lucky I was able to find where he is at after he blocked and deleted me from being able to contact him. I am a walk-in client from his previous tattoo shop in Salt Lake City, Utah. When I met Luke I had a hip tattoo I wanted covered. I gave Luke thousand dollars cash and he agreed to finish the entire tattoo. He said he would give me about 17 hours of work that would give me extra time and he would start another tattoo for my husband. The first session, we did about four and a half hours on my leg. I woke up the next day and could not stand up out of my bed. It swelled up huge and later I learned it was because we had overworked my hip. Luke later on accused me of being a dirty person and not following his Aftercare instructions. I followed the instructions exactly as he had told me. After he colored in a rose I already had on my leg, and did a half of a jewel, Luke let me know he would be moving out of the state of Utah and promised to finish my tattoo before he left. He said he needed to order special needles before he was able to continue my tattoo. He told me the needles were on backorder and he would come back to Salt Lake in order to finish my tattoo. He ended up blocking me and deleting me and has told me that he wishes me luck in getting my money back out of him. I contact at the shop owner where I met him and was told that Luke had stolen equipment from him and owed money for his Booth before he left. They directed me to contact the previous shop that Luke worked at before the one I met him at. The owner at that shop informed me that I am not the first person to come forward with problems like this. He took $1,000 from me and only did maybe 7 hours worth of work on my leg. The Tattoo artist did such an awesome job, he was very patient with me while I made my decision on what design I wanted for my first tattoo. The pain wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be, he was as gentle as he could be. They also worked with my budget so that was awesome to. He has done four of my seven piercings as well as my sister's ears (age 5) and has been amazing every time, very knowledgeable and patient (including talking about the latest kid shows to calm my sister). I don't even want to leave one star! I'm relatively new to the area, so I did some research on where to get my nose pierced. I read some reviews about Jerry from Voodoo tattoo and they were all positive so I went there. I told him I have had my nose pierced before, and I'm looking to get a hoop, but that I can't wear a hoop at work just a stud. He told me he could taper my nose ring hole that I had from last time because its in the right spot for a ring. He said that way I can come back in a few days for the ring instead of waiting 6 months for it to heal. After a couple days I tried calling, but he was never there. I went back in person, and he wasn't there. I left my name and number for him to call back and he never did. After 3 weeks I went to hopeless ink to get a ring put in. They tried it, but told be the hole was in the wrong place. They had no idea why the other person would tell me that. Also, the stud Jerry gave me I ended up allergic to, and currently have a scar. Can't speak for their piercing or tattoo services, because I could not get it. I called Tuesday prior to Friday the 13th inquiring on piercing sales, which they told me $20 for nostril. I wanted to go here based on the high reviews so I did, confident there would be no issue since I had called. But when I got there on Friday the 13th they told me the piercing artist was not in today "but was scheduling appointments". I'm hoping this was some planning mistake as far as not having piercing artist there on an extremely popular day for piercings, but I wish I could have avoided the trip out there and gone somewhere else straight away. This place is amazing.The atmosphere Is great. They went above and beyond for us!  We walked in without an appointment we were able to have it done within the hour. Dallas our tattoo artist was wonderful, did amazing work and is exceptionally great with detail. My husband and I lost our last baby during pregnancy and wanted to get her footprints and name on our wrists. Her actual size foot print was a bit bigger than a quarter.  We couldn't be happier with the way they turned out. My sister and I came in today to get some piercings, the guys inside said the piercer has the day off and we explained we live kinda far so the guy called Jerry and asked him if he would come in for us which he willingly did!! He pierced my lip and did a double sided nose piercing on my sister and he was patient, he was friendly, he let us have time to compose ourselves before the initial poke. I have all good things to say about this place! My sister and I came to Voodoo today for piercings. It happened to turn out as the piercer Jerry's day off, but when his coworkers called him and told him our situation (we live 45+ mins away from the shop and were unable to come in last Friday the 13th due to ice) he was totally down to come in and help us out.  Everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful. i got my right nostril re-pierced/stretched back to standard size, and my left nostril freshly pierced. Very clean sanitary place from the looks of it.  We took 10-15 minutes evening up the two piercing dots until they were symmetrical, with no rush. He took his time getting the needle completely on the dot before piercing; (last time i got a nose piercing at a *different* shop, they didn't seem as careful and precise, and i later had so much trouble i had to take the jewelry out completely).         He pierced them perfectly and I couldn't be happier. My sisters lip piercing came out amazing as well, and when she got lightheaded from it he made sure she was okay and if she needed to sit, drink water, etc.  I was so amazed at how he was able to come in and help us even on his day off, and that he didn't let that bring him down or rush. If you're anywhere near Vancouver and need a piercing, Jerry is the guy to see. Period. Not only is he a super cool dude who makes you feel really comfortable and calm as he shoves needles in your face, but he knows what he's doing and gives a shit. He's the guy everyone goes to when their piercings from other shops fuck up. I don't know how you fix a piercing, but Jerry can. The shop itself is really clean and the people are amazing.
