After almost a year of research, I ended up choosing this shop based on its reviews and the artist's splendid portfolios. However, I was disappointed when the day came to get my tattoo. I had had a consultation with the artist I thought would do the best work for the style I wanted (Ly HoriSoda), and discussed my ideas, and I had stressed my worry about getting the colors right. He had reassured me that he would do a sketch and it would be a great tattoo. I paid $20 for the sketch, and $40 for the deposit. But when the day came, I was only shown a very plain black and white rough draft of what my tattoo would look like, and when I had asked to see if he could do a more complete sketch (with color), he snapped at me saying that it wouldn't be necessary, and I should just trust him. He eventually agreed to do a more complete sketch, but seemed very put out and told me it would take a long time so I would have to wait in the office. After a couple minutes, I realized I was too uneasy to get worked on by someone who seemed so seemed irritated with me, so I went and apologetically told him I changed my mind and wanted to cancel. He blew up on me saying that I wasn't allowed to back out now, and I ended up having to run from the shop. Sorry this was so long, but it was an extremely uncomfortable situation, and I would advise others to beware. Read Less
