Mike Adair and Jesse are laid back chill dudes that deserve props for not only their talent but also their candor with customers. Got my first tattoo here, I’ve been waiting a while to get it and went here based on past recommendations. I was mostly afraid that it wouldn’t turn out exactly the way that I wanted it. Alberto drew a couple sketches in different sizes and I picked the one that fit for me. We took a couple pictures of the sketch in the area that it would be at so that it was centered right and then took a picture of the outline on it to make sure it was right once drawn on. Mike is who I've dealt with, but everybody I talked with in there in very nice and they are always up beat, excited and obviously love their job, unlike other shops I've visited. I've been going to Electric Boogaloo for a couple years now, each time amazing. The shop is super welcoming and nice, make you feel at home. I've only gone to Jesse so I can only speak for his work specifically, but from what I've seen of the other artists, they're all crazy talented as well. I have many tattoos and I had the best experience here at Electric Boogaloo! The place is clean, comfortable, and safe! My tattoo artist was Mike Adair and I couldn't be more happy with my brand new tattoo! My tattoo design was and placement was a great challenge, it was a perfect circle on top of my shoulder. Mike spent almost an hour putting the stencils on before even beginning the tattoo; I am appreciative that he spent the time to ensure my tattoo looked perfect in the difficult spot. Even during my consulting appointment he was extremely helpful in talking me through the pros and cons of the location of my tattoo. I originally wanted it on my elbow but after talking to Mike we decided my shoulder would be better and I am so thankful! I love this placement way more than my original idea! Walked in not knowing too much about this place. (Picked it at a random based off internet reviews.) Talked to Jesse on a Friday and was told to come back on Saturday. So I did. I was very nervous because I am not from this area and know little about the shops around here, I currently live in Texas. So Saturday I came back and met with Cory about the tattoo I wanted done and he gave such piece of mind because he is from Texas as well and has worked in a few reputable shops I know of. And he was very polite and friendly. He did amazing work. Extremely clean shop, that's a huge plus for an OCD germ freak that I am. Artist was very helpful and made sure my vision for my tattoo was exactly as I needed. Not only was the work absolutely stunning and crisp, they were friendly and ensured that it was comfortable as possible. Saturday walk-in waits however, are very long. Went at noon opening, got called in for my tattoo at 5PM... make an appointment if you don't have time to wait. After moving and having a tattoo artist where I came from, and really feeling the need to get tattooed again, I started looking into shops in WA and OR. I really investigated for about a year and just kept coming back to electric boogaloo.  I decided to stop in and talk with the artists personally and get a feel for the place. I spoke to Jesse who truly is a people person. He listens, asks good questions and takes the time with clients and customers. He told me to check each artists books out and go onto instagram and look at all the work they had on there, see which artist style I liked the best. Im a fan of black and grey work, my daughter likes more color. So 2 totally different style likes. Jesse and Mikes work is phenomenal.  But being as I got an excellent vibe from jesse ( Mike didn't really talk to us either time there so I cannot comment on his people skills) I chose him. Both do excellent work in all areas. Not just specialized in traditional, black and grey, etc. The following day myself and my daughter went back to get our long awaited pieces done. Again. He took a lot of time with us. Made sure each drawing was precise and exactly what we wanted. During the session, he constantly checked in to make sure you were ok. Talked and laughed and joked. He has excellent skills and truly is fantastic at what he does. You don't feel awkward or out of place. It's like your among friends. I couldn't be more pleased with my work and will now always see jesse for my future pieces. My daughters work....truly there are no words that could explain the genuine awesomeness!!!! I thought her other work by another artist was awesome! This one by jesse is 100 times better. And that's saying a lot!  If your thinking of getting a tattoo. Go in and talk with Jesse. Great tattoo shop!  My wife called around town couple mns ago work some ink work. She was drawn to these guys. Super friendly over the phone and after looking at yelp reviews and pictures of some the work we decided to come though.  I must say all the artists are very talented and super friendly!  We have been to other shops with the Moriarty of them having to much ego and not willing to service there clinets right.  Everyone here has personality, people skills and a remarkable service.  Got a couple sessions done with Jesse and wife worked with  Chris.  Both produced amazing tattoos and they stand behind there work!  We both decided we have found our shop.  Had the whole family come in so far that wanted ink done!  We will be coming back very soon!  Thanks guys! So I came here to get my birthday tattoo(s), and had an awesome experience! There shop minimum was $60 and the one I wanted was less than that so they added the leftover money to get another tattoo. They are super helpful, and awesome to work with! Great atmosphere; as my mom would say " doesn't feel dark at all"! After I got my tattoos, my dad showed up to support, and decided to get a tattoo and cover-up work done. Then about a week later my mom got a tattoo; and my husband is going to be getting one soon! You know it's a great shop if your whole family is getting work done there! We know all the artist there because they all like to check up on your work, chat with you, and just hangout! I knew Jesse, but never had any work done by him. Spoke to him several times and he came up with several idea's, after choosing my design, he did the tat, and it turned out very well, I was impressed with the line work, and the detail in the tat.  Perfect shading, and design. I have had several tats over the years and this is by far the best of the bunch. I will be starting a sleeve soon, Jesse will be doing that for me. I would highly recommend Jesse as an artist. In the process of getting my new ink, I met Mike the owner, and watched him do some work while mine was being done -  again was very impressed -  he did good work as well. All the fella's are nice, especially enjoyed Jesse  - nice guy...Great personality.  Again I would highly recommend Jesse, based on the work I have had done, and based on what I saw, Mike is a very good artist as well.
