Laury is one of my favorite tattoo artists! She is patient, professional, and highly skilled. She has more experience in cosmetic tattooing than almost anyone else in the area, having trained under Mary Jane Haake, one of the pioneers in the field. Her work is worth every dollar, minute, and moment of discomfort--which, let's face it, is certainly a reality with eyeliner tattoos.She did my eyebrows and eyeliner recently, with one eyebrow touch-up so far. I've learned from dental work that I process some anesthetics differently than most people, so they are less effective, and I often need more time to let them sit, and sometimes multiple doses/applications. She gave me tips on how to work with this difference, more time to let the topical anesthetics set in, and throughout the whole experience, endless patience, professionalism, and kindness. Even with this extra preparation, I was not ideally numb during the eyeliner work (which has everything to do with my biology and nothing to do with her technique), and she continued to be incredibly patient, calm, and compassionate as I dealt with the pain.I love my tattoos. Everybody says that they look amazing--that is, after I point out that they're tattoos, because nobody can tell. I feel like "myself" again when I look in the mirror. I look forward to going back to Laury, for touch-ups and maybe lips. Cosmetic tattoos are not something to take chances with. Don't settle for less than the best!

This is the second time I went to Laury. About four years ago she did my eyebrows, which I loved. I constantly got compliments about how great they look. This week I got a little touch up on the browa and got my lips done. WOW THEY LOOK AMAZING!!! Laury makes you feel comfortable and takes her time to hear you and make excellent recommendations. I already referred a friend who loves her new stunning brows. Will never go elsewhere. next month I'm getting my eyeliner done also. So excited.

I did alot of research before deciding on De Novo Salon.Laury had great references from other tattoo artists that knew of her work.I love my eyebrows,they don't look at all like tattoos,very natural looking.It cut my make up time in half now that I don't have to mess with eyebrows.I highly recommend Laury to anyone that wants cosmetic tattooing done!! She is very good at what she does.

Laury Giffin at De Novo is an amazing tattoo artist and an awesome person. Her attention to detail is like no other and she works very hard to give you what you want. I have been going to her since 2001 and trust her completely because she knows exactly what she's doing and always does a great job. She makes me feel so comfortable with soft music playing in the background, soothing conversation, and wonderful numbing to make me comfortable during the process. Her ink treatments lasts a long time. I am very happy with her professionalism and high skill level, and thrilled with my results and that I chose Laury to do my permanent cosmetics.

I started going to Laury for electrolysis in May of 2012. She is absolutely fantastic and if you are considering electrolysis, Laury is who you should see. I have had great results with my electrolysis sessions. The only disappointment I have to report is the fact that the hair removal has worked so well that I don't get to see Laury very much anymore. Luckily we go to the same gym so I sometimes see her in passing.I don't regret for a second my decision to undergo electrolysis and I am so glad I found someone as wonderful as Laury to be my clinician. She is the picture of professionalism and always plays the best background music.

I came to Laury after having had an unsatisfactory permanent cosmetic procedure performed elsewhere, and I only wish that I had found her to begin with! She gave me perfect eyeliner and brows, and I can say without hesitation that I will go to her for any future work that I may choose to have done. Laury is extremely talented at what she does, and provides her services in a very warm and inviting environment. I'd give her 10 stars if I could!

I have had permanent make up on my eyebrows, eye liner, and lips at De Nova. I also have my lashes and brows tinted regularly by Laurie. We do Electrolysis every now and again as needed. Laurie tries very hard to achieve the look you want. I receive compliments all the time about how natural my permanent make-up looks. When I go for a facial it takes a few moments for the technician to realize my make up is permanent. I have had business associates ask me what type of lipstick I use....cause it always looks great.Her prices are reasonable, if things are not perfect she touches it up till you are happy and I don't think anyone tries harder to make sure you are comfortable during the process. I recommend De Nova, Laurie and permanent make-up highly. Thanks Laurie for all you do to help me look my best.

Amazing! Laury Giffin is amazing! She is so skilled and does a wonderful job. I have friends from all over the country who want Laury to work on them. I cannot say enough about the level of professionalism and attention to detail that Ms. Giffin gives her clients. Everywhere I go people are amazed that I am not wearing make-up and how natural my permanent make-up looks. I wouldn't go to anyone else for this type of procedure. She truly is the best.

My mother had her eyeliner and lips done with her years ago. Just recently, my sister and I had Laurie do our eyeliner. She mixes her own colors to be perfect for you. She did such a great job, my sister had her lips done and I'm having my lips done tomorrow. She spends tons of time getting you comfortable, understanding the procedure, and getting you ready. She is artistic, gentle, and does great work.

I started going to Laury for electrolysis in May of 2012. She is absolutely fantastic and if you are considering electrolysis, Laury is who you should see. Amazing! Laury Giffin is amazing! She is so skilled and does a wonderful job. I have friends from all over the country who want Laury to work on them. I cannot say enough about the level of professionalism and attention to detail that Ms. Giffin gives her clients. Everywhere I go people are amazed that I am not wearing make-up and how natural my permanent make-up looks. I wouldn't go to anyone else for this type of procedure. She truly is the best.
