He walked me through the whole process and tried to make it as painless as possible, which is a little difficult since I am such a wimp. I went to Forever Tattoo and Piercing for my octopus tattoo, and I have to admit that the artist did good job with my rabbit, and then artist did the outline for the octopus, and then I went again for the second session to add colors, but it was paused because my skin became too swollen. Since the second session, they have been postponing from finishing my octopus tattoo with some excuses like the artist was fighting with his girlfriend, which was not really my problem. About... two months later, I finally found out that he no longer work at the tattoo shop and set up his own new tattoo shop. He told me he would give me $100 credit, but still postponing. Lastly, he told me he would give me a refund, but he do not have money. So I decided to go to Dark Star tattoo shop because I saw their website, it look like very professional and I am impressed with some of their arts. So I went to Dark Star tattoo shop and met Terry, he simply just looked at my octopus tattoo, not even taking picture of it or taking notes, or anything, just look at my tattoo for a few seconds. Then we made appointment, which is a week later. At the appointment, he simply just continue adding the colors, we communicate very well even though I am deaf. And I was very impressed how he add the colors and change some of the tones that was left from former artist. I really love it and am very satisfy with his artwork! I would go again! I have 2 Tats and a touch up/cover up done today by Terry at dark star!! Super professional and incredibly detailed. He did a great job putting on the care bear and minecraft creeper I had done for my kids and he even covered up and fix a tat I had done at a different crap hole. I am so impressed with his work and his price was super awesome. My wife also had a tat done by Terry at same time as mine and it is great!!  Can't wait to go back in April to have him do more work!!! See you then!!  I advise anybody that is looking for great price and phenomenal work and craftsmanship to go to Dark Star. Took my daughter there first, she got her nose pierced....they took great care in doing the job, even though there is a build up of scar tissue in her nose due to ""home piercings"". It took a little bit to get the nose screw in but it finally went, and the after care instructions were great! They answered ever question we both had. I went in a week later and got my nose done. I was a LOT nervous but to my suprise it didnt hurt a bit!! The guy that did my piercing made me laugh and that helped a lot with the nerves. And from the time he put the clamp on my nose it was about 5 seconds and I was all finished. When that was all finished my husband brought in the picture of the tattoo i am getting next and we spoke to Summer about it. She was very helpful, and even said we can email her the acctual picture since the one i printed wasnt in color, and was not the acctual size i wanted. We also asked about a tattoo to cover up a bad scar and she had ALL the answers!! We left being very pleased and are planning to go back REALLY SOON for anouther piercing (or 2) and a few tattoos!!
