All staff are really fun and entertaining when they interact with each other, keeps the room light and happy! David- who tattooed me is simply amazing at what he does. Went to see Chris Rhodes for yet another wonderful piece of artwork today (pics soon to come). I've followed him over to Altered Reality from his previous shop, and I'm thrilled that his new shop is closer to my side of town. I'm not quite sure what Alex (the reviewer who gave AR one star, likely based on his own inability to handle sarcasm and dark humor) is on about, but Rhodes is a great artist, honest and decent human being, and a reasonably priced tattooist. I met the owner, Mace, through my brother, who's had work done by him personally. The work looks top notch and Mace is a great guy.I took my girlfriend to talk to him about some ideas, and he was patient and professional with her (she wasn't really sure what she wanted which I'm sure was a bit frustrating). When I get the funds, I intend to have him add onto some of my existing work.I'm not sure who the other person was that the negative Yelper discussed, but I can say that Mace is committed to providing the cleanest and most professional shop around. In fact he is one of the very few shops that has met the highest standards the state has set.I also know for a fact that he has no issue with letting go any artist that works for him that doesn't meet his high standards.I recommend you give him a shot, and if your experience isn't top of the line, then ask for Mace directly.
