I went into Copper Wolf to get a very meaningful tattoo. I lost my sister a few months past and I wanted her name in her writing on my wrist. I was really nervous because this tattoo was not only very personal to me... It was also going to be my first tattoo that would be visible to everyone. Everything else I have is covered. I went in and saw Rudy. He was very friendly and knew this was a small piece but was going to have huge meaning. He nailed it. The whole process seemed right. They were helpful in helping me decide where I should get my tattoo.The guy scared the s*** out of me and even took out a big chunk of skin when he was tattooing me and blamed it all on scar tissue even though I had no scar tissue whatsoever on inside of my forearm. Ryan and Danny are both true artists. The shop is field with their art work and not pictures printed from the internet. I hit a lot of tattoo shops in my search for the right talent and feel. I approached Danny with my idea for a owl to memorialize my mother and he knew Ryan would be a great fit. Did I mention I'm 47 and this was my first tattoo? The owl and rose accent tuned out awesome. Great shop. As a pretty heavily tattooed guy I usually wander into shops and get a feel for the place and the guys behind the pony walls. This place is pretty inviting and also calming and peaceful. The walls are covered with paintings and the two Artists I met were not the dreaded too cool to talk to you tattooers that is all to common. Being a guy who gets tradiational tattoos, my tattooer for the piece I got her pulled out a bunch of awesome flash books and I could tell he was really squared away. He did a phenomenal job and made it a pleasant experience. This is also a great shop for first timers or your average Joe because it's inviting. I like all type of places from hole in the wall shops to the larger ones and this is that perfect in between. I can only attest to Tex who did mine but they all seem like great guys and highly skilled. Their prices are very reasonable and they have pride their work. Cleanliness is of zero issue and the place was spotless as it should be. Their textbook sterilization is on point and they go beyond the norm. I highly recommend Copper Wolf. Read Less
