I went in for a nostril piercing with high expectations. What brought me to this place was how responsive the piercer was via review feedback and website detail. This shows me that she has "passion" for what she does; a characteristic in people that I rarely find. I was greeted by both the tattoo artist and Jessica who later performed the piercing. That said, Jessica was very polite, kind, knowledgeable and gave the best recommendation for jewel placing. The process was relatively painless, fast and comforting. Further, Jessica was light handed and very gentle providing the best piercing experience. The only time I felt some (minor) pain was when she was installing the stud which is normal. The actual needle penetration was painless! More importantly, her room was VERY clean and hygienic. In terms of price, it was very affordable relative to other shops around the area. The wait time was about 10 minutes, but that's because I did a "walk in" without an appointment (my fault). If anyone is looking for a piercing shop around Tacoma, I highly recommend this place - just ask for Jessica! Read Less

5 stars for piercing 2 stars for tattoo. She is the most amazing piercer. I've had multiple piercings done by her. Extremely clean and she takes the time to really educate her clients. You're awesome J!!!! For that tattoo side I would say this. Both are very good artists. My husband had a large panther cover up tattoo done and it turned out amazing so I decided to get mine done there as well. My tattoo was to honor my brother who is successfully battling Leukemia. The drawing was really good but he finished the tattoo in ten minutes or less. The lines are not clean at all and I'm extremely disappointed. His wife tried to fix it and now I'm left with a really dark tattoo, where you can feel the raised lines, on my forearm. While I think they're great people I'm stuck with this unattractive tattoo. I went to see Jessica with my friend and her mom had a wonderful experience. She gave us excellent and complete information about the care of our new piercings and also helped us figure out which piercings would work best with each of our ears. Not only did she give me a new piercing, but she also gave me advice about an old piercing I had that has seen better days. Went here yesterday to get my forward helix re-pierced. Super casual environment, Jessica made me feel incredibly comfortable by keeping up conversation and making sure I was still good throughout the whole process. She changed her gloves several times throughout the piercing and was incredibly sterile with her tools. I love my new piercing and it looks so much better on day two. Let me just start by saying Jessica is amazing! I live in Tacoma during the school year and live in Seattle otherwise. In Seattle, I've had two piercings done at Slave to the Needle (an excellent place also) and I love that shop so when I was back in Tacoma for the year, I was lost until I found Three of Clubs! I've since had jewelry switched out and two other piercings done by Jessica! When I first got my jewelry switched out of my nose, I didn't even feel it - she is that gentle and precise! I then got my helix and septum done by her. She's very accommodating (both of my piercings were walk-ins), knowledgeable, and kind! She always offers to order special, quality jewelry if what you want isn't in stock at the shop. She's straightforward and will answer any question that you have or give her professional opinion to make sure you make the best decisions so your piercings are placed well and heal well also! Almost my entire household has been pierced by her and she was so awesome with each one of us. The jewelry is amazing quality and she doesn't settle for anything less. The place has a very relaxed but professional atmosphere, Jessica was easy to talk to, she was patient with me and was very reassuring and did a wonderful job at soothing my nerves. Came to Three of Clubs this morning to get a nose piercing. The first piercing I ever got (at a different shop) was pretty traumatizing and painful, so I definitely made sure to do my research before falling privy to another shop. I found three of clubs by yelp reviews online, i was looking for something specific. Looking for my nose to be pierced with a hoop, not alot of places would start with a hoop, but jessica explained to me why to where nobody else did. Luckily jessica agreed to pierce my nose with the hoop and even stayed later then usual so i could get to the shop after a doctors appointment.      I showed up 35 minutes early to hopefully help her out with goong home early herself, and had my niece and nephew with me.  Jessica was very polite and got the kids an extra chair to sit in, offered them a piece of candy, and connected their tablet to their wifi.         The experience was the best ive had, great customer service and hospitality, the shop is nice and clean. It was hard to indicate in the dark though i didnt see any visual signs out, but overall great experience. Read Less

I was recently pierced by another piercer in Lakewood. A couple days later and I woke up with a horribly painful infected piercing. I went to almost every shop in Tacoma, Spanaway, and Parkland but no one was open. (Sunday). I called Three of Clubs and Jessica told me she would be in at 1:30pm. I met her there and she evaluated my piercing. Due to the horrible infection it had to be cleaned and the jewelry had to be changed. This was a horribly painful process. Jessica explained everything she was doing and kept me calm as I cried like baby. She instructed me on what to do to get rid of the infection and even replied on facebook with questions I had. I had been looking for a professional piercer for at least 3 years after I moved to Washington. I had a few piercings done at some seattle area shops considered reputable, but my experiences were always disappointing. I could not for the life of me find a piercer in the Tacoma area that used implant grade titanium which is the gold standard of piercing today(it's 2016 Tacoma, c'mon get your shit together!! "Surgical steel" is a bull**** vague ass term, stop using it please). After calling AT LEAST 15 shops, I FINALLY found a home at three of clubs with Jessica. She is professional, knowledgable, responsible, friendly and... wait for it... strictly uses implant grade titanium jewelry!! Yay!! I've only had one piercing done by her, but she did discuss fixing some previous work (that came out of laughing Buddha actually) that's effed up. I might as well call this place a hidden gem. I've been wanting to do some "defacing" of my body, but I would always get a little anxious. There was a crazy amount of anxiety when I pulled up to this little ol' tattoo shop that had a temporary sign above and in a "eh" part of town. The moment I walked through the door, I was greeted by smiles and the anxiety eased up. I asked Jessica probably a million questions and she was able to answer them all and help reassure me that I was in good hands. I had a particular request about my piercings so Jessica was more than happy to draw on the dot and erase it until I was happy. The process was sterile and fast. Josh did an amazing job! The whole staff is extremely friendly! They come highly recommended. They even gave me some after care cream and instructions on how to keep it up.
