I had a horrible experience at Octophant Tattoo because owner and Tattoo artist Michael Glascock put no thought into the Tattoo I wanted and didnt give the many pictures I sent him a glance.I sent him many pictures to give him the over all idea of my vision for the piece that I wanted. He avoided talking to me about the Tattoo piece and assured me with vague words that I could trust what he was working on and that it was going to be Awesome. I trusted him and did two sessions with him. I wanted a Tattoo of a Octopus pulling down a ship .The first session was 3 hours and the second session was 2 hours. During the first session Mike Glascock talked the whole time stopping and starting the tattoo process again cutting into my time that I paid $120 an hour for. During this session we was only working on the Octopus and did not yet have a drawing for the ship. I left with an unfinished piece and paid $360 for the 3 hours, I kindly asked him if he could not talk as much during the next seasion because I wantwd to get as much work done in the time I was paying for. And he said ok its cool. The second session came around and I planned on and talked to him about getting the octopus completed and did a two hour session to finish the piece. At the last 45 minutes of the session he started free hand doodling a school of fish and back ground tentacles. Mind you he never talked about or asked if he could put fish in the back ground. I now realize that he did it to kill time so that he could leave me with yet another unfinished piece so that I would keep coming back and he could keep getting paid. The pictures I provided is 5 hours worth of Tattoo work $620 and still unfinished. Bottom line, I regret going to Michael Glascock and getting Tattooed at his shop Octophant Tattoo becasue I paid top dollar expecting great work and ended with a crappy piece of work that I want removed. Unfortunately this experience has left me with a bitterness towards Michael Glascock because there is nothing I can do. I am stained with ink from a careless and burnt out Tattoo artist (con artist) who Tattoos because he can because he needs the money not because he is passionate about his Art and Tattooing.Read Less
