From the moment I walked in to Stasey's light and open, beautiful salon I knew this was going to be a different experience, in the best way!! Very disappointed to have researched high and low to find a certified Softap permanent cosmetic artist (Stasey Adams) only to NEVER be given the opportunity to make an appointment!!! I literally left 3 voice mails and sent at least half a dozen emails over the course of 6 weeks trying to get a response from someone. I live 3 1/2 hours away and was willing to drive this far to have my lipliner touched up because they are the closest Softap salon to me. I think it's just bad business to be so non-responsive!!! After the tattoo artist Kat canceled my appointment twice for being in Portland, I ended up getting a nice tattoo. However, the tattoo artist told me to come back in and get it darkened and touched up, something that is very important for anyone. After months of attempts to reschedule and finish the work, she never responded. She was either 'out of town' or 'not in' i was told. Try having a tattoo finished by another artist - NO ONE will do it. Now I am stuck with an unfinished tattoo. I know I did nothing wrong on my end, especially after leaving a nice tip. Lash ink is an incredible place to get a tattoo!! I have multiple tattoos done by Kat Carroll and that she is an amazing artist. When you arrive for your tattoo the entire staff is always welcoming and friendly. One thing I notice is that it is a very relaxing atmosphere and that everyone makes you feel at ease. In addition, the facilities showcase the Kat’s love of not only ink, but art as well. On the walls you can see several types of paintings that just add to the ambiance of the studio. You will not find racks of those cookie cutter tattoo images that are found in other places. This studio is a step above other places. Everything that she creates is drawn by her and very custom. Kat is a very open artist that always solicits feedback, by the customer, before the work even begins. While going through the tattoo process, Kat always makes the customer to feel really comfortable, relaxed, and will crack jokes. What I really like is that she always checks with the customer to see how they are doing while getting tattooed. In addition, she will provide a small bottle of water while sitting for a tattoo. I really, really loved this shop. I originally went in to only get a tattoo from Kat but ended up getting lashes as well. I can honestly say that I never thought I would get eyelash extensions because I don't even get my nails done or anything girly, but I thought I would try it out and now I'm committed. I really love the vibe this shop has, I have a fun time every time I am there for either my ink appointments or my lashes. Kat is really hard to get in with but totally worth the wait. I really liked that she went over the artwork with me individually and was open to the changes I wanted to make to the artwork and wasn't offended. I really liked that while I getting tattooed she genuinely concerned about me being comfortable, and even offered me cold water and juice. She was even okay with me taking breaks and was compassionate when I started to complain. This is not the type of shop you go to if you are looking for a quick tattoo from off of the flash rack. I had to wait a week for a consultation and a couple of weeks for my tattoo appointment but it was worth it. The piece Kat did for me is by far one of my favorite pieces, and that says a lot coming from a self proclaimed tattoo collector. In my experience, the artists that are the most difficult to get in with are the ones who are worth the wait. If I could describe my tattoo experience here to the other shops I've been in - Lash Ink is like sitting first class as opposed to sitting in coach on a long flight.Read Less

I have had several tattoo sessions done here by Kat Carroll. She is crack-up a minute and can pretty much play off of any joke or comment made to her. She never makes you feel uncomfortable about the work you are getting done and her confidence in her artistic skill is top notch. She is also not afraid to help you out with your design idea if she feels the idea would not look quite right from the start, which is a great quality to have in a Tattoo artist. When looking to get a tattoo, you want the artists who are going to let you know if a design is not going to completely work the way it is on paper vs. how it will look on your arm or leg, etc. and they are able to expand upon the design so it will not lose its substance or meaning, which Kat does time and time again.The atmosphere is great because it is so relaxed, it feels like a place that you could just hang out in and converse with the other clients/customers like they were friends you never knew you had. Overall it is a very welcoming shop and it will receive repeat business from me. So, yeah.... do yourself a favor and check out Lash, Ink for your next tattoo and decide for yourself. Read Less
