This is by far one of the best tattoo shops I have ever been to. The shop is very clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I went to Chris Quiggle, and asked him for a beautiful arm piece. I didn't really know what I even wanted. At that moment I felt like I was being the worst client I could be. Lol. So I originally went in to have a tattoo redone, Chris says almost finished I look down and said where's the color, "oh shit that's right you wanted color" no kidding we talked about this just an hour ago!! That should have been the red flag, but at that time I wasn't thinking straight. Then made an appointment for two months from then to get a tattoo of a grizzly bear on chest, gave Chris the artwork at that time. Wife calls to confirm appointment 3 days prior and he says he "lost (or couldn't find) the artwork and can we resend it". Day of appointment I get home and wife is hunched over in pain crying her eyes out. She is passing a kidneystone, has happened before. Finally the pain pill takes effect and she is able to cope with the pain and get her in the shower. At that time we realize I'm 1/2 hour late for my appointment. I hurry down to the shop and call on my way there. Chris decided to take a walk-in in my place. (Told us from day one he doesnt take walk-in, have to make appointments only.) It was a 3 hour appointment with a follow up 3 hour appointment. $600 for everything. I left the $100 deposite, and because I was late he took the walk-in and kept my deposite. He has no compassion for other that's for sure. Did you compensate your customers when you got sick for 2 weeks and cancelled their appointments? Shit happens sometimes Chris and you should be a little more understanding. Go ahead keep my deposit. I'll go spend the $500 balance somewhere else and the $100 tip you would have got. Very disappointed in you and your business practices. PS. I own my business also, I understand about having to pay bills Chris, but I'm also not a cold hearted you know what!! Read Less

This shop is absolutely unreasonable And has the most terrible customer service I have ever seen. I scheduled an appointment and then the day of that appointment i was in an accident in a location that I had no service. I was unable to even call for help for 5 hours ( missing my appointment) I took videos just Incase they wouldn’t believe me. I then called when I got home and explained the situation and they straight up said sorry since you didn’t call before hand we can’t reschedule you without charging you another deposit fee (which was $100). Even in an emergency they took advantage of me with no mercy at all. Absolutely unbelievable. Obviously people that care more about the money than what they do or the people they do it for. Marc is awesome. I'd had a disappointing day because I had an appointment for my first tattoo at a different shop and it got rescheduled when I got there. We decided just to give a walk in a shot since I still really wanted a tattoo that same day, and sure enough Marc was willing to do one for me. I felt awful because I went in not having a very detailed idea of what I wanted(it was a last minute idea) and I'm sure I seemed like a pain, but he came up with something awesome for me anyways! This place is great. Chris really knows his stuff. I went in kinda bummed out with a half finished tattoo from another artist/shop that I just wanted finished up. Not only did he finish it, he made it so much better! He also shaved the price a bit (from what he originally quoted) afterwards since it didnt take as much time as he thought it would. I just got back from a touch up and he made it look even better! I was just expecting a touch up in color but his artistic skills made the piece pop and look like a whole new tattoo. He's super funny and overall has sucha great customer service mentalilty, it makes the whole experience so nice. I came here back in June or July of this year. I'm from California and decided to take a mini roadtrip up to Washington to see my best friend and get matching tattoos. After some Yelp and Instagram browsing we both agreed on Black Eagle Tattoo. We drove down pretty late at night and talked to Cory who said he'd be able to fit us in the next day! He was super friendly and was sure to talk to us about the designs of our tattoos to make sure we would love it. The tattoo process itself went very quickly thanks to our small and simple designs; I got mine done on my chest right below my collar bone and barely felt a thing! Once it was done he made sure we knew proper aftercare steps to care for our new tattoos as they healed, and then we were on our way!The shop was very clean and organized - I always love shops that hang their artist's artwork over every inch of the walls, it really shows me that this is their passion. Cory wore gloves and had fresh clean needles and made sure we liked the stencil before permanently inking us.All in all a great experience and if I find myself back in Washington will definitely come in for a touch up and possibly another piece! It was a Saturday when I walked into Black Eagle Tattoo. Marc was was the person to greet me. I explained to  him this was my first tattoo what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the shop was not able to schedule me in as a walk-in for that day, but Marc offered to schedule my appointment the next day if I wanted.  Due to my schedule I ended up scheduling my appointment  almost a week out.  As my appointment date approached, I became more nervous. However, after talking to Marc again my nerves started to disappear. I'm not sure if all tattoo artists are so relaxed, but Marc was able to ease some of my nervousness and was great at explaining what the process would be like. Amazing experience!!!! I'm a planner...big time but today I decided to shake things up and get myself a little tattoo. I was very nervous as to how it would look since I only chose the design this morning. I visited Black Eagle and Chris made me feel welcome immediately. He was great at understanding exactly what I wanted (not too big, not too small) and executed it perfectly! He explained every step through the entire process and has a very calming presence. He kept checking in to make sure I was doing good and made me feel valued as a client even though it was just a little symbol. I didn't feel rushed or anxious, it was overall a great experience.
