On Friday the 13th I watched two of the  tattoo artists at this location harass a young women that was trying to get a tattoo for the event. It seriously was just awful to watch, just witnessing that kind of cruelty ruined this establishment for me. Read Less

I can't explain how impressed and moved I was going to this shop. 2/28/2018 in the morning I decided I wanted to get something very meaningful tattooed. The day prior me and wife decided that our 15month old son, "Kaine the Warrior" battle with an extremely rare brain cancer is over. He has fought so hard. But he's never been miserable in pain or even knew that we where in a hospital. If we continued with treatment he would begin to suffer. I contacted River Side Tattoo after a family friend highly recommended then to me. I explained what I wanted price range and time frame. An hour. From the time I called to getting started with the tattoo is all I had to wait. I was BLOWN away. Shane was the gentleman that tattooed me. He wouldn't let me pay him for it. As a father I feel your pain and this is the least I can do for you. Compassion and caring is something lacking these days, and Shane showed me that it's not dead. He even tried to refuse me buying lunch for him. After he offered to give us pizza from his lunch. Eventually he did take it and is going to have lunch on me. I will be returning for every single piece of ink for not only me but for my wife. Shane gave me something more than I think I can understand. "Kaine The Warrior" tattooed on the top of my hand. I went here to get a water color dog paw tattoo. I got tattooed by Jake who did an amazing job on my tattoo! He even edited it a bit to make it his own. I have 4 tattoos and this is definitely my best one ever done! Definitely will be going back. Read Less

Miles was my man today, and he did an amazing black and grey rose on my forearm, and it turned out absolutely perfect. It's exactly what I had in mind. Everyone at the shop was friendly, and very professional; and the shop itself provides and comfortable and clean atmosphere. I recently was tattooed by Jake. It was a very small, but meaningful tattoo. I could tell he put much care into making sure it was right and done nicely. He had a very light hand and it was a very pleasant experience. I also wittnessed this persons character and how he conducted himself as an individual, not just an artist. This shop is very aesthetically pleasing; clean and comfortable. It is on a busy street corner, but it still manages to feel very private and personal inside. Jake did a watercolor piece that I had a few visions for. He was really able to pull out my vision in a piece that "won't be found on google". The prices were reasonable and the service was amazing. These guys will be getting ALL of my work. Ive been in shops where there are guys standing outside smoking and cussing and made me feel like unless I was part of that world I wasnt welcome. This place felt more like a spa or a salon then a grungy five shop. Great atmosphere, great art! Read Less

Great environment, good attention to detail and they definitely went the extra mile to make it a safe comfortable place. They used Saniderm so I dont have to do anything except take it off when its healed and I can go about my day without having to wash it a million times. They even gave me a discount to come back in a couple weeks when it is healed and get more work done on it. Love it. Read Less
