My husband and I are both veterans and Tommy (the owner and also a veteran) is a friend of his. A few years ago we were stationed overseas and I received a tattoo that didn't quite turn out as I envisioned. To put it lightly, I was embarrassed of it and hid it for years. My husband recommended I consult with Tommy to talk about the possibility of doing a cover-up piece; and I am glad that I did! Russell did our family tattoos, the work was fine, but he was totally rude! It was my son and husbands first tattoo and he gave no instructions or anything. He acted like we were an imposition for him. The owner Tom was very nice. We should've all done it with him. But, it is what it is. The tattoos are nice, but the experience was less than stellar. Wow! Sorry to be an inconvenience to you guys since you were so busy and all. I even called an made an appointment the day before to make sure you had time. Last time I was there you were actually nice, both of you! Sorry I forgot to bring my dad so you'd actually be polite. Won't waste money here I'll go to bulletproof next time. Tom at All American Tattoo is an exceptional artist. Tom has done 4 tattoos for me and fixed one another artist messed up. I won't go to anyone else. I work at Walmart and not a day goes by that at least 2 customers comment on the amazing artwork and want to know who did it. I am more than happy to send folks Tom's way and a couple of my co-workers plan on going to him for their work. I always enjoy my time with Tom; he's a fascinating character with an interesting perspective on life. As well, he's a Desert Storm vet and pays homage to members of the military and police force. And even tho he's already an incredible artist, he continues to take lessons to grow his skills...currently watercolor, I believe (and his portraits of characters from TV shows...Carol from TWD is killer!...are well-worthy of mention.) Tom did a tattoo for me 6 years ago. It's still beautiful, with great color saturation and I never even had to have touch ups done. As I'm planning another tattoo, I know I'll be going back to them.
