Two years ago, I had no brows. I had brow hair, but it was so fair. Everyday, I had to put brows on my face. I found Alicia and took the plunge. She is so knowledgeable. She's been doing this for a very long time and really knows what she's doing. She's no B.S., which I appreciate and she's a lot of fun. It can take a long time to get an appointment, but she's so worth it. I had my first treatment in July of 2016 with the touch-up 6 months later. I had a lot going on and just couldn't get in earlier. I just left today from a touch up and after two years, they still looked good. They had faded to the point where I was using products occasionally, obviously, I needed a touch up. But, they were still so much better than before I did anything. Two years later, they still looked good! Now, I'm good to go for at least another two years. My eyebrows were always something I was insecure about, mostly because I didn't know how to shape them, and if i did shape them they'd end up looking different every week. BUT, after reading many reviews on the excellent services Alicia provides, and scrolling through pictures of her work. I chose her to give me an eyebrow make over. She made me feel comfortable and paid attention to what I said and what I wanted. When I learned about microblading I was referred to Alicia and couldn't wait to get in to see her. I had to wait 6+ months for my appointment but I'm SO glad I did. To the adults who has a mother who told you to never tweeze your own eyebrows & didn't listen so you now have no eyebrows, this review is a must read for you. So I had my eyebrows tattooed about 3 years ago, the typical tattooing leaving me with the sharpie like brow. & I really liked them since it was better than eyebrows that sweat powder (cuz I had to draw them on everyday). Fast forward to a week ago when I decided to try micro-blade tattoos & again fast forward to today... as I was lucky enough that Alicia had a cancellation to squeeze me in. She was not only personable & a pleasure to talk to she really is a cosmetic genius. While the procedure itself is a bit uncomfortable (my mother always said beauty is pain) it wasn't actually painful. It took about an hour & was worth both time & money cuz I now have what appear to be actual eyebrows. You wouldn't know they were tattooed if I didn't tell you. Alicia did a fantastic job & I will definitely continue coming back. Only bummer is she is so crazy booked with customers, but I think that also says a lot about the quality of work. Alicia is excellent and experienced. I've never had a tattoo before because I was worried about the slightest error on my face. It's been 4 months, and I'm very happy with the results. The color, shape, and lining of my eyebrows and eyeliner are spot on. I would highly recommend Alicia if you're a perfectionist and considering permanent makeup. * I will warn costumers to not panic within the 1st week or 2 after getting permanent makeup--it takes time for the area to heal (as she tells you, and I still worried at first because it very looked large and reddish), but after healing the results look incredibly natural. I researched for months on who I should go to for permanent makeup for brows and eye liner. I am in my fifties and had noticed my brows thinning and was tired of taking the time to pencil in brow and eye liner. After reviewing many different sites I knew that Alicia was the right choice for me. She did an amazing job and I am so thrilled with the results. She is very professional and her office was very clean. This is very important to me and I am not surprised due to her past history of being a dental hygienist. As someone who is extremely critical of brows, I was very nervous about getting permanent work done. Just know that the results are a little jarring at first! They will be swollen, bold, and very prominent on the face. I was freaking out! HOWEVER, after a couple of days they begin to settle down and the look softens up to be more natural. They become a part of your face instead of just being on your face. It is a healing process so be patient with the results. After a couple weeks you wouldn't even know I had work done they look so natural. I can honestly say that I am happy with my results.
