I really like this shop! The jewelry is really nice quality, and priced well for it. Plus there's extra high-end stuff, too, if that's your thing, or you can just admire its beautiful artistry. The staff are ALL really nice, patient, always happy to help out, and definitely know their stuff. V knowledgeable, they've given me some killer advice and tips. I especially have to thank Janelle; she's helped me out me like a million times and is always cheerful, helpful, and patient as I decide on which *exact* piece among identical ones I want. Lol. Also thanks to David, whose perfect piercings should be the first sign that he knows body piercing and care, and his confident skill set is clear, his advice absolutely solid. And recently I met Sydney, who I also have to thank very much! She was so helpful, patient, and super fun to chat with as I decided on which (and whether) organic pieces I wanted. You know, which two carved bits of organic material match the best as a pair. The impossible stuff. It's just wood grain, nbd lol. ;) It's obvious that everyone here knows their stuff, likes working there, and genuinely enjoys talking shop with customers. It's a great atmosphere, along with beautiful jewelry that's truly little works of art in a studio with a nice ambiance. Now, you may have your doubts cos it's a "mall store", but give it a chance. You'll be pleasantly surprised. You can find belly barbells, nose studs, cartilage jewelry, spare o-rings and balls and bars of all sizes and styles, and a good selection of metal, organic, glass, & acrylic gaugewear (or whatever the kids call it; jewelry for larger than standard piercings) that's quite affordable. Plus the high-end cases. Also unique items like Loungefly bags, tattoo/piercing related tops & tees, etc. There is body piercing on site (standard lobes and navel to and tragus and daith), and BJP is ANTI-GUN! Piercing guns are excessively traumatic and woefully outdated, in spite of...[name omitted...little shop that aims at tweens and their moms]...other shops still using them. BJP does it right, the current accepted standard just like the fabled overpriced shop in Cap Hill. (Same quality, btw, lower prices.) Even if just to look around, stop by! Check out the loose ball section and spice up your boring old industrial scaffold barbell with jeweled spikes, or replace your opalite plugs' black o-rings with clear or red or blue ones! If you're still reading this, props to you, and check them out. I've been only to the one in Northgate, but there are other locations. At this shop, however, I can definitely vouch for the staff. I came in today to get a piercing and everyone in the shop was extremely helpful. The sales person Shaylee helped me pick out top of the line jewelry and provided amazing customer service. I was pierced by David and he was super precise and quick making the experience really enjoyable. I came in to get a nose piercing around 12pm . Turns out that they only have one person working and she didn’t even know how to pierce. She said the piercer was going to be in around 2pm. I came in at 2:15 and waited until 3 to get pierced. Still no one showed up. I ended up asking for a refund due to punctuality and me having to go to work. This is the 3rd time I come in and this happens. Read Less
