I didn’t get my FIRST tattoo from Suzanna, but after she gave me my second one, I wished I had! Suzanna will book a consult appointment first to discuss ideas, if you want a photo-realistic tattoo like I did you can either provide her with the one you want to work on or she’ll suggest some from her collection for you to choose one. She will consult with you about location, size, everything. I absolutely will go back to her (proud owner of four of her designs!) when I have the extra money, her work is worth every penny and the conversation and personal attention she gives you plus the honest assessment of design ideas makes her someone you can trust. I cannot say enough good things about Suzanna Fisher. She did a beautiful dinosaur sleeve for me and I am smitten. Her shop is a by-appointment only studio. It's clean, intimate and comfortable. Suzanna created the artwork for my piece. She really listened to what I was saying and took great notes. When she showed me the drawing, my mind was blown. It was perfect. She even made sure that the plants we used were present at the time my dinosaur lived - because she cares about details. We did 3 sessions to finish my tattoo and I had so much fun. Suzanna is such a cool person- she has great taste in movies/TV/games so I felt like I was geeking out with a good friend the entire time which made the hours fly by. I paid more for this tattoo than I have for any other, but looking at the quality of her work, it was well worth the price. My tattoo is amazing. When we first met, I was not entirely sure that I wanted to proceed, and Suzanna was very open about the fact that she would not tattoo a client who wasn't completely ready. I really appreciate that Suzanna is not willing to proceed without total confirmation and consent from the client. She provides education and sets her own boundaries in a really useful way that helped me know how or whether to proceed. My tattoo from Suzanna is 3 months old now and it has been a piece of... cake the whole time. I didn't scab at all! Or really even get very itchy. First off, I really love that Bellwether is a by-appointment-only shop. Too many times have I been stuck in a chair right next to the door so every tire-kicker that walks in wants to examine whatever I'm having done before they leave. This place is private, clean, quiet, and comfortable. Getting tattooed here isn't cheap. ...In fact, I've never invested as much into a tattoo as I did here...but I will come back again and again because the quality of the work is worth every single cent. Before my actual session, Suzanna and I were able to connect and chat several times about my thoughts, ideas, questions, etc. for a variety of projects and she gave me clear, direct, no-nonsense opinions and advice on all of them. I appreciated this so much because almost every tattoo artist I've ever talked to was generally your typical "yes" man who was willing to put basically anything on your body as long as you give them your money. Suzanna, on top of being an incredibly talented artist and having a light touch and steady hand (amazing line work and no unnecessary additional pain), takes a lot of pride in her work and holds herself to certain standards that I don't feel like a lot of artists put much thought into. She's also mastered the art of making small-talk with strangers while tattooing them. I have many tattoos from Suzy. My friendship/love of her incredible artistry started 4 years ago. I literally STILL get compliments on the daily for my first tattoo/most visible one from her. It's most visible because I either buy sleeveless or have my dry cleaner remove the sleeves from all my dresses, I love it that much. Suzanna is a rad badass tattoo artist! Have a tattoo on my shoulder that needed an addition, and she was awesome working through ideas that would best flow with what I already had! I just had my first of many tattoo sessions with Suzanna owner/artist at Bellweather Tattoo in Wallingford. If I was able to rate more than 5 stars I would. I would be considered significantly tattooed and have gotten tattooed by many of Seattle's "top artists" Suzanna is elite!! Not only is the smaller shop easy to access from I-5 it also is extremely comfortable and filled with great pieces of art. Suzanna's care and skill is evident the moment you start and the level of communication is second to none while you go through the "design" steps! She's way booked out but worth the wait.
