Sweet marinated chocolate covered roasted marshmallows beardless baby Jesus! ._. This is clearly a happy place to be at. (And to get some pretty sick tattoos! But not the bad kind where you cant help an old lady cross the street! [Cuz no matter how many tattoos you have! Helping people is one "sick" imprint in humanity. ._. *cheeesy*]) So let's sterilize the station and get inking into this review!! ._. (I swear my puns just get worse throughout the year. [Stick with me readers ._.])Atmosphere:Walking in your immediate thought is whoa! This place is spotless! (Try to get use to an atmosphere that's not the back alleys or your friend Kevins moms house where you usually get tattoed.[Although his mom makes one mean grilled cheese sandwich!]) The front desk is at your right and further to your right is a couch to sit down and either review tattoo artists work or wait for your friend/significant other/ family member/llama breeder farmer neighbor to finish getting tattoed. (And by god that couch is comfy! [No longer will you sit on couches that you swore you donated to Goodwill from your frat party rat years and somehow it ended up there.]) The shop is decorated with amazing art, for each station in the shop. (Its incredible when people share their creations! [Unless your a serial killer and then... in those cases, you should just show the police. ._.]) Ryans station is an amazing collaboration of paintings that really make the place come together! (._. Theres a squirrel one with a birthday hat on, that has tugged at my wooden heart everytime!) Customer Service:Is amazingly professional. They really break down what's possible and tell you what isnt (and why it is. [No longer will you not get an answer as to why they can't do that, only to find your at a butcher shop and they were going to cut your leg off. ^_^) The process of cleaning down the station before and after, really makes you appreciate the care they take for you. (Plus, it's nice to see that they don't recycle needles ._. Lol)Tattooing:I've had Ryan done all my tattoos there and just the level of speed and precision is impeccable! (Ohhhh look at that fancy word I'm using. ._. This is from a guy that says to his poodle when he needs to excuse himself: "party [but I say pahty] at the potty time!" ._.) With a great selection of music (that would make any panther purr) that helps the time pass and someone easy to talk to. It's not hard to get tattooed and be stressed about it. I have not been disappointed by the tattoos done here and I'll be happy to state that I shall return! (Thy know art, when thy see it with thy eyeballs!!)Conclusion:With a very but very clean atmosphere! (That you swear you saw Mrs Doubtfire cleaning late at night after the shop closed.), a great staff that is professionally ready to help you conjure your masterpieces on your skin (Its like magic! But minus the unicorns [but I always bring a small pouch of glitter for back up. Cuz let's face it, when things go bad. It's always magical to throw glitter in the air. ._.]) And just a good vibe of people that love art as much as you do. Handsome Devil is a great spot to get inked! ._. *throws smoke bomb on the ground and disappears into the night.. only to hear I tripped in some garbage cans.*

I would have to say I was so impressed with Ryan! Me and my buddy wanted to get matching tattoos so we went in one day after work and Ryan greeted us as he was working on a tattoo with another client. I was really surprised he stopped what he was doing and greeted us I felt so bad that he had to stop what he was doing to help us out. Which I feel like most people would have either blew us off or made us wait until they had a free minute nope not Ryan! He asked us what we wanted and we told him he asked us to look through a few different portfolios to see who we wanted to work with so we were flipping through some pages and once we got to Ryan's work we knew we wanted to have him do our tattoos. So we went over and told him who we wanted to go with and lone behold it was his work! We were so impressed with him we booked the appointment for the next available Friday. He asked us to fill out some paper work and pay the deposit to book the appointment and it was super easy. So once we came in for the appointment Ryan was great he got us all ready and was super friendly. As we was putting the tattoo stencil I was thinking shoot I didn't tell him where exactly I wanted it placed on my arm! But once he removed the stencil he asked me if it was okay and sure enough it was the perfect placement at this point i had full confidence in him. He started to do the outline on the tattoo and mind you I hadn't had a tattoo in the past 7 years and I was so surprised that he had a super light hand! The whole time as he was doing the tattoo he was really friendly and was very genuine I was very pleased because it made my mind not focus on the tattoo at all. Once the tattoo was done he cleaned it up and let me look at it and it was PERFECT ! The lines were incredible and I was so worried because I like everything to be perfect and with a tattoo like this I wanted to make sure it was exactly what I wanted and sure enough it was better then I could have ever expected it to be! I am so pleased with the quality of work Ryan did and I will be definitely going back to see him soon! I highly recommend him to anyone in the area! Thank you for the great experience and the perfect tattoo Ryan!

I finally decided to start my sleeve and stopped by Ryan's shop to check his work and meet him. Needless to say, his work, professionalism and cleanliness speaks for itself. I tasked him with a complex and intricate idea that needed manifestation and even though it can be hard to conflate an imagination, Ryan is pulling it off. I am happy I chose Handsome Devil Ink, it will likely be the only place I get my ink done.

I recently came here to start a sleeve that I've been deciding on for over 10 years. The service is classy and top notch. Ryan is a beast at coloring and putting together a unique mural. One thing I appreciate more than anything is the lack of BS, he's not here to take your money and just tell you "yes" to just get your cash. I told him what I wanted and what I was thinking, closer to the first appointment we collaborated to get the work rolling and Ryan was concise and forthcoming with the realistic outcome of my expectations. Communication is key with this kind of work and Ryan has done an excellent job so far. Last but not least, while the 17 hurts, Ryan is a great conversationalist. Can't wait for the next session.

Made an appointment about a week or so in advance after driving by this place pretty regularly. I was really happy with Ryan's work so I booked with him. He was great! I was forty minutes late because of traffic and he was fine, had booked out later that night so all good. The place was clean and really well organized, things kept out of sight and really just clean work stations. We had done a few tweaks to the art work when I got there too and he was happy to do it. It's healing fine now, lines are clean and even. For quality work it was really reasonably priced. You don't want to price shop too much when it comes to people sticking needles in you, but that's just opinion ;) Will for sure work with Ryan in the future when I'm brave enough to do more! Overall really great experience.

Been around the world a few times, I’ve been tattooed in five different states and I have to say that Levi and Ryan are the best I’ve come across. Levi has been working on a sleeve with me and from the onset I knew I found the right place, I had a concept and Levi took the time to listen to what I wanted. He drew, then redrew and then REDREW my concept multiple times before I was ready to commit it to ink. Hands down a stand up business, approachable and willing to adapt and work with you. A little customer appreciation goes a long way, spend your money here, you won’t regret it.

After being told by another tattoo studio that our ideas for a matching tattoo were dumb and stupid, my cousin and I were referred here and are eternally grateful! Levi and Ryan created beautiful matching tattoos for my cousin and I that we will cherish forever, and did it last minute, as I was flying back to the east coast the next morning. What could have ruined our trip turned out to be one of the best moments because of these guys and this studio, and I'd recommend them to everybody for quality, professional, awesome tattoo work!

Talked with Ryan about getting a unit crest tattoo for my right shoulder. My last tattoo was over 20 years ago and Ryan answered all of my questions. I didn't know that I could still donate blood at Bloodworks Northwest (formerly Pugest Sound Blood Center) because you'd be exempt for a year back then. I put a $100 deposit (ATM nearby), and set a date/time via email after checking my schedule. We went over details again on the day of, and although I disagreed with his recommendation to flip the orientation of the image at first, I'm glad I listened and changed my mind. My tattoo was/is PERFECT. The horse would've looked stupid going backwards! I also listened to and follwed care instructions and it healed quicker than I expected. I definately will be getting another tattoo from Ryan.

Ayla is amazing. I won't ever let anyone else tattoo me. I had been searching for an artist for awhile to fix and add on to a piece I already have. I had people tell me my vision wasn't possible. I had other bad experiences searching and then found Ayla through a friend. She listened to all my ideas and then brought it to life. Not only that but she's so personable and easy to get along with. Which is just as important to the quality of someone's work to me. I can't say enough good things. If you're on the search I highly recommend you check this place out.

Ayla was amazing and the artwork is gorgeous! It was my first time getting a tattoo, and she made the process of brainstorming on the artwork fun! She listened to what I was looking for and created an amazing piece of art. To take it even a step further, she was kind and communicative about the actual process, especially for a scared newbie. She made me feel at ease and it was MUCH easier than I had anticipated. I've heard from others that it is because she is just that good! So not only is the artwork amazing, the entire process from start to finish was perfect! I couldn't have asked for a better first-time experience. Thank you, Ayla (& Handsome Devil Ink)! Love love love this place! After getting my first tattoo it took me about 6 months before I even thought about getting a second (I have, apparently, a low threshold for pain). I then took another 6 months to find the right place and I'm so happy to have found Handsome Devil Ink. Ryan was confident, friendly and most importantly competent. He took his time and paid close attention to detail. My tattoo is a relatively simple design yet he took care to make it beautiful. The shop is very clean, bright and sanitary. The needles came new out of blaster packs, then were discarded after we were done. I babbled to distract myself and he didn't miss a beat keeping the conversation going. My husband saw Ayla for a matching tattoo on his forearm and his experience was complementary. Clean, friendly, extremely competent and knowledgeable. He already has plans to return for a large piece on his arm and I know I'll be back. We are very happy! Thanks guys!

Went in for an important piece to honor my grandfather and was treated kindly and respectfully the whole time. Gave them the simple design and Ayla got me through the paperwork, resizing, and body placement smoothly. The work was on my ribs and was treated with care. Of course this was not a long session with elaborate work so I can't speak for that, but I had a good experience, and I was glad to support the new business.

Came in to have a simple series of numbers done and they were more than happy to take my $100 (cash only of course) and schedule an appointment for the next week. Like most studios the artist was trying to get me to make changes to the design but her changes didn't appeal to me. The day before i asked if we could reschedule and Ayla never called me back. Finally got a hold of her on the phone and told her i didn't want to rush a design i wasn't happy with. She basically told me to get the ugly version she provided me or loose my deposit. It was a loose loose for me. A good business would reschedule and actually do more than 5 minutes of artistry to work the design into something you can put on your body forever.

We laughed and joked the whole time I was getting my tattoo. The shop is very clean and well organized. Everyone I met was nice and very friendly. [Stick with me readers ._.])Atmosphere:Walking in your immediate thought is whoa! This place is spotless! (Try to get use to an atmosphere that's not the back alleys or your friend Kevins moms house where you usually get tattoed.[Although his mom makes one mean grilled cheese sandwich!]) The front desk is at your right and further to your right is a couch to sit down and either review tattoo artists work or wait for your friend/significant other/ family member/llama breeder farmer neighbor to finish getting tattoed. (And by god that couch is comfy! [No longer will you sit on couches that you swore you donated to Goodwill from your frat party rat years and somehow it ended up there.]) The shop is decorated with amazing art, for each station in the shop. (Its incredible when people share their creations! [Unless your a serial killer and then... in those cases, you should just show the police. ._.]) Ryans station is an amazing collaboration of paintings that really make the place come together! (._. Theres a squirrel one with a birthday hat on, that has tugged at my wooden heart everytime!) Customer Service:Is amazingly professional. They really break down what's possible and tell you what isnt (and why it is. [No longer will you not get an answer as to why they can't do that, only to find your at a butcher shop and they were going to cut your leg off. ^_^) The process of cleaning down the station before and after, really makes you appreciate the care they take for you. (Plus, it's nice to see that they don't recycle needles ._. Lol)Tattooing:I've had Ryan done all my tattoos there and just the level of speed and precision is impeccable! (Ohhhh look at that fancy word I'm using. ._. This is from a guy that says to his poodle when he needs to excuse himself: "party [but I say pahty] at the potty time!" ._.) With a great selection of music (that would make any panther purr) that helps the time pass and someone easy to talk to. It's not hard to get tattooed and be stressed about it. I have not been disappointed by the tattoos done here and I'll be happy to state that I shall return! (Thy know art, when thy see it with thy eyeballs!!)Conclusion:With a very but very clean atmosphere! (That you swear you saw Mrs Doubtfire cleaning late at night after the shop closed.), a great staff that is professionally ready to help you conjure your masterpieces on your skin (Its like magic! But minus the unicorns [but I always bring a small pouch of glitter for back up. Cuz let's face it, when things go bad. It's always magical to throw glitter in the air. ._.]) And just a good vibe of people that love art as much as you do. Handsome Devil is a great spot to get inked! ._. *throws smoke bomb on the ground and disappears into the night.. only to hear I tripped in some garbage cans.*

Me and my buddy wanted to get matching tattoos so we went in one day after work and Ryan greeted us as he was working on a tattoo with another client. I was really surprised he stopped what he was doing and greeted us I felt so bad that he had to stop what he was doing to help us out. Which I feel like most people would have either blew us off or made us wait until they had a free minute nope not Ryan! He asked us what we wanted and we told him he asked us to look through a few different portfolios to see who we wanted to work with so we were flipping through some pages and once we got to Ryan's work we knew we wanted to have him do our tattoos. So we went over and told him who we wanted to go with and lone behold it was his work! We were so impressed with him we booked the appointment for the next available Friday. He asked us to fill out some paper work and pay the deposit to book the appointment and it was super easy. So once we came in for the appointment Ryan was great he got us all ready and was super friendly. As we was putting the tattoo stencil I was thinking shoot I didn't tell him where exactly I wanted it placed on my arm! But once he removed the stencil he asked me if it was okay and sure enough it was the perfect placement at this point i had full confidence in him. He started to do the outline on the tattoo and mind you I hadn't had a tattoo in the past 7 years and I was so surprised that he had a super light hand! The whole time as he was doing the tattoo he was really friendly and was very genuine I was very pleased because it made my mind not focus on the tattoo at all. Once the tattoo was done he cleaned it up and let me look at it and it was PERFECT ! The lines were incredible and I was so worried because I like everything to be perfect and with a tattoo like this I wanted to make sure it was exactly what I wanted and sure enough it was better then I could have ever expected it to be! I am so pleased with the quality of work Ryan did and I will be definitely going back to see him soon! I highly recommend him to anyone in the area! Thank you for the great experience and the perfect tattoo Ryan!

I finally decided to start my sleeve and stopped by Ryan's shop to check his work and meet him. Needless to say, his work, professionalism and cleanliness speaks for itself. I tasked him with a complex and intricate idea that needed manifestation and even though it can be hard to conflate an imagination, Ryan is pulling it off. I am happy I chose Handsome Devil Ink, it will likely be the only place I get my ink done.

I recently came here to start a sleeve that I've been deciding on for over 10 years. The service is classy and top notch. Ryan is a beast at coloring and putting together a unique mural. One thing I appreciate more than anything is the lack of BS, he's not here to take your money and just tell you "yes" to just get your cash. I told him what I wanted and what I was thinking, closer to the first appointment we collaborated to get the work rolling and Ryan was concise and forthcoming with the realistic outcome of my expectations. Communication is key with this kind of work and Ryan has done an excellent job so far. Last but not least, while the 17 hurts, Ryan is a great conversationalist. Can't wait for the next session.

Made an appointment about a week or so in advance after driving by this place pretty regularly. I was really happy with Ryan's work so I booked with him. He was great! I was forty minutes late because of traffic and he was fine, had booked out later that night so all good. The place was clean and really well organized, things kept out of sight and really just clean work stations. We had done a few tweaks to the art work when I got there too and he was happy to do it. It's healing fine now, lines are clean and even. For quality work it was really reasonably priced. You don't want to price shop too much when it comes to people sticking needles in you, but that's just opinion ;) Will for sure work with Ryan in the future when I'm brave enough to do more! Overall really great experience.

Levi has been working on a sleeve with me and from the onset I knew I found the right place, I had a concept and Levi took the time to listen to what I wanted. He drew, then redrew and then REDREW my concept multiple times before I was ready to commit it to ink. Hands down a stand up business, approachable and willing to adapt and work with you. After being told by another tattoo studio that our ideas for a matching tattoo were dumb and stupid, my cousin and I were referred here and are eternally grateful! Levi and Ryan created beautiful matching tattoos for my cousin and I that we will cherish forever, and did it last minute, as I was flying back to the east coast the next morning. What could have ruined our trip turned out to be one of the best moments because of these guys and this studio, and I'd recommend them to everybody for quality, professional, awesome tattoo work!

Talked with Ryan about getting a unit crest tattoo for my right shoulder. My last tattoo was over 20 years ago and Ryan answered all of my questions. I didn't know that I could still donate blood at Bloodworks Northwest (formerly Pugest Sound Blood Center) because you'd be exempt for a year back then. I put a $100 deposit (ATM nearby), and set a date/time via email after checking my schedule. We went over details again on the day of, and although I disagreed with his recommendation to flip the orientation of the image at first, I'm glad I listened and changed my mind. My tattoo was/is PERFECT. The horse would've looked stupid going backwards! I also listened to and follwed care instructions and it healed quicker than I expected. I definately will be getting another tattoo from Ryan.

Ayla is amazing. I won't ever let anyone else tattoo me. I had been searching for an artist for awhile to fix and add on to a piece I already have. I had people tell me my vision wasn't possible. I had other bad experiences searching and then found Ayla through a friend. She listened to all my ideas and then brought it to life. Not only that but she's so personable and easy to get along with. Which is just as important to the quality of someone's work to me. I can't say enough good things. If you're on the search I highly recommend you check this place out.

Ayla was amazing and the artwork is gorgeous! It was my first time getting a tattoo, and she made the process of brainstorming on the artwork fun! She listened to what I was looking for and created an amazing piece of art. To take it even a step further, she was kind and communicative about the actual process, especially for a scared newbie. She made me feel at ease and it was MUCH easier than I had anticipated. I've heard from others that it is because she is just that good! Love love love this place! After getting my first tattoo it took me about 6 months before I even thought about getting a second (I have, apparently, a low threshold for pain). I then took another 6 months to find the right place and I'm so happy to have found Handsome Devil Ink. Ryan was confident, friendly and most importantly competent. He took his time and paid close attention to detail. My tattoo is a relatively simple design yet he took care to make it beautiful. The shop is very clean, bright and sanitary. The needles came new out of blaster packs, then were discarded after we were done. I babbled to distract myself and he didn't miss a beat keeping the conversation going. My husband saw Ayla for a matching tattoo on his forearm and his experience was complementary. Clean, friendly, extremely competent and knowledgeable. He already has plans to return for a large piece on his arm and I know I'll be back. We are very happy! Thanks guys!

Went in for an important piece to honor my grandfather and was treated kindly and respectfully the whole time. Gave them the simple design and Ayla got me through the paperwork, resizing, and body placement smoothly. The work was on my ribs and was treated with care. Of course this was not a long session with elaborate work so I can't speak for that, but I had a good experience, and I was glad to support the new business.

Came in to have a simple series of numbers done and they were more than happy to take my $100 (cash only of course) and schedule an appointment for the next week. Like most studios the artist was trying to get me to make changes to the design but her changes didn't appeal to me. The day before i asked if we could reschedule and Ayla never called me back. Finally got a hold of her on the phone and told her i didn't want to rush a design i wasn't happy with. She basically told me to get the ugly version she provided me or loose my deposit. It was a loose loose for me. A good business would reschedule and actually do more than 5 minutes of artistry to work the design into something you can put on your body forever.

We laughed and joked the whole time I was getting my tattoo. The shop is very clean and well organized. Everyone I met was nice and very friendly. I'm coming back to Ryan and Handsome Devil Ink for all of my future tattoos.
