Amazing artist re. I grew up and met the love of my life when I moved to this town in 2004 and moved away a decade later, I miss it so much the whole town is majestic and nostalgic for me that just going into diamond tattoo is like holds renton's entire essence in one place! Many businesses come and go here but diamond continue to thrive, likely because when u get any work done there u can't wait to come back for more. I got my nipples done here and buy all my jewelry here cuz majenta takes time to order incredible pieces made w the bat quality for amazing prices. I came in to Change them at no charge and received a frequent buyer freebie! Last night I had the pleasure of Justin Carey do a small piece dedicated to my son and he was so gentle I almost fell asleep! He took so much time and energy in stencilling it just right that the work itself was so fast and nice I'm my husband and I are planning our next tattoo like asap! Their prices are unfair for competitors that they are in a complete different league then others. In fact all winter thy running a special $200 for three hours! And how quick and efficient an genuine artists they are I can't imagine u even neddin the full three hours lol. There's nothing this place doesndo well, ur treated like family there's more inspiration in a quarter of the shop then th last five I've visited combined. Books portfolios artwork everywhere not to mention the merchandise u can buy aside from thy best jewelry u he a vst selection of heels andflats w the craziest prints on them a fave is the zombie flats so fun! They super cheap like $20 I drive in from mountlake terrace and its worth every bit of traffic. Good people incredibly talent and unbeatable prices. The work w very budgit and every need! This is your new home for your ink, I met three people just last night after leaving w my new ink that spotted it and insisted on where I got it done, its healing fast an so nice! Thank u Justin Carey and magenta please dont ever close those doors this place is th heart and soul of my amazing Renton home!

The shop itself is clean and has amazing art to look at. Majenta is so kind and friendly. She is truly an amazing artist and I wish I would have went to her for all of my past tattoos. She will definitely be doing all of my future tattoos.She has been tattooing for over 20 years and does speak her mind and gives an honest opinion on the piece you are wanting. Young people are sometimes offended by this, but honestly I WISH I would have had her to tell me her honest opinion on some of mine when I was younger. Could have saved myself a lot of money and not had so many tattoo regrets. Trust her, she knows what she's talking about.

The shop is out of this world and offers so much more than just the tattoo art. Id go and check it out just to see the hot pink owner in her hot pink classic car parked outside the pink shop. You can't miss it. LOVE this place! Never looking for another artist again. She has SO much experience and the CONSISTENT and amazing work has me a lifer.

I went here after a piercing gone wrong, Chris and Jade where so so so helpful with explaining what went wrong and they cleaned my bad piercing after I had to take it out (which they did no charge because they are awesome)I then came back because I loved the service, not only did everyone remember and was super nice to me, but Jay gave me the cutest Sailor Jerry Swallow tattoo. I 10/10 recommend this place for all new to piercings/tattoos and all who are experienced as well.

Just did a walk in for a simple procedure - and left feeling like I have my new shop for all of my piercing needs. :) Jade took really great care of me- I needed to have an old bar in my ear replaced (it was way too long and now since it has healed I needed a smaller one). Jade was informative, knowledgeable and was SUPER easy to talk to. Really really, A+++ in my opinion.I HIGHLY recommend that if you are looking for a new piercing, definitely give Diamond Tattoo and body piercing a shot! I haven't had an opportunity to get a tattoo here (yet) - but will update when I eventually do!

It was my first time getting my ears pierced and I was a complete novice to the procedure and everything. I will admit I was a little shook by the whole place and their decor was awesome but crazy at the same time but I tell you the employees there were some of the friendliest ever. Chris was super knowledgeable and made the procedure quick and somewhat painless and Jade was really helpful in giving me tips for aftercare. I'm gonna recommend this place to my friend as well since he was also looking to get his ears pierced.

Yo, I just got a side piece from here. Not going to name the artist, but I was impatient, wanted a tattoo, and they did walk ins. I was stoked with the sketch, got it on my body, and then the tattooing begun. His machine was ridiculously high. His hand was ridiculously heavy, it was just unnecessary... I had mentioned before how I had wanted my tattoo to look, light black outlines, light shading, for a pretty side piece that would turn heads. What I got was not what I had in mind... the lines are so heavy and thick.. some of the pieces and pedals don't make sense.. Sucks having more wobbly/uneven lines then even lines.. the artist was sweet and funny and I was comfortable, (the pain was tolerable but also would have been easier if he wasn't pulling skin with each stroke) I was relatively fine until I saw the finished product in the mirror.. pretty unhappy with my tattoo. Luckily, I have an artist in auburn named Jay at Derm FX tattoo, who I know can fix some of the mistakes I'm really unhappy with.. worst part is, the whole tattoo is way to thick for what I was going for... and honestly every tattoo I've seen come out of this shop I haven't thought was amazing or even close to breathe taking. Thought I'd just share my experience publicly so people can take note... sucks knowing I have to get touch ups when you first look at your new tattoo that you were really excited about.. honestly, I wish I didn't have to pay for what I got..

Renton's current trend of erecting their Soviet style apartment blocks on every abandoned lot has killed parking for decades to come near this place. (Bye-bye, Berliner Pub, You'll be sorely missed.)2. Like everything else in this very crowded town, Diamond Tattoo is over capacity. You're better off getting an appointment and then scrounging for parking when you do go. Good luck! Walk in work will require a lengthy wait. Be smart: make an appointment.Wear sturdy shoes, because you'll be dealing with a poorly-managed construction project between your car and their front door. (Open trenches and heavy construction equipment everywhere for the past year or more. Many workers standing around. Not many safe crosswalks to be found.)Past experience with these folks was great but current conditions have persuaded me to find a shop that's at least more accessible. If it didn't sound nutty, I'd say the City of Renton was trying to push Majenta out of business. (It's not like this is Tacoma I'm talking about here.) It's like the old joke, "You can't get there from here."Piercing staff turnover is high. It seems to be a part of the profession. Just be flexible.

Today I had the absolute pleasure of being tattooed by New York. She was kind, fun, and she did a fantastic job. When my appointment ran longer than expected she kept right on going, paid careful attention and didn't rush, and only charged me the amount she had quoted me as an estimate. I would highly recommend her, she has great skills and really clean lines. The shop environment was inviting and comfortable, everything was clean. The tattoo I got was nothing fancy, but it has a very personal meaning to me and the fact that she put so much care into it really mattered.

I went there for David several months ago. He did a wonderful job. He ended up moving to another shop so I decided to stick with him. I went back to Diamond tattoo to get my deposit that I had left there and I was treated so poorly. I went to the front desk and politely explained that I would like my deposit back. I immediately got attitude. After I was told that I would need to talk to the owner, I heard someone say "Another DAVID client is here!" "Great, this is how it's going to be." I thought. I was directed to speak to the owner and so I did. Never in my life have I heard so much negativity. First she asked me if I wanted her to finish it. Of course not. This was a custom piece that another artist had drawn out and started for me. I wanted to stick with him. After I told her that, all she had to say was nasty things about him, the other artists that left, and how she's losing another client. Ummm.... 1. I don't care what you have to say about him or the other artists that left, I just wanted my deposit back. 2. I was never her client. And 3. I would have never written this review if I was bullied so much! After several minutes of absolute negativity, I decided to let her keep my $50 deposit. Moral of the story:Go to Hidden Entity tattoo in Auburn. You'll be treated well and get outstanding work.

I just had my 1st Magenta stamp. I know of her, I have friends that have her art, but now, she's working my skin. I'm very excited. I've heard nothing but great reviews, my turn to judge. So far , I love Magenta and her company. Its not just a stamp on my skin, but a life long momentum.

I went here after a piercing gone wrong, Chris and Jade where so so so helpful with explaining what went wrong and they cleaned my bad piercing after I had to take it out (which they did no charge because they are awesome)I then came back because I loved the service, not only did everyone remember and was super nice to me, but Jay gave me the cutest Sailor Jerry Swallow tattoo. I 10/10 recommend this place for all new to piercings/tattoos and all who are experienced as well.

Just did a walk in for a simple procedure - and left feeling like I have my new shop for all of my piercing needs. :) Jade took really great care of me- I needed to have an old bar in my ear replaced (it was way too long and now since it has healed I needed a smaller one). Jade was informative, knowledgeable and was SUPER easy to talk to. Really really, A+++ in my opinion.I HIGHLY recommend that if you are looking for a new piercing, definitely give Diamond Tattoo and body piercing a shot! I haven't had an opportunity to get a tattoo here (yet) - but will update when I eventually do!

It was my first time getting my ears pierced and I was a complete novice to the procedure and everything. I will admit I was a little shook by the whole place and their decor was awesome but crazy at the same time but I tell you the employees there were some of the friendliest ever. Chris was super knowledgeable and made the procedure quick and somewhat painless and Jade was really helpful in giving me tips for aftercare. I'm gonna recommend this place to my friend as well since he was also looking to get his ears pierced.

Yo, I just got a side piece from here. Not going to name the artist, but I was impatient, wanted a tattoo, and they did walk ins. I was stoked with the sketch, got it on my body, and then the tattooing begun. His machine was ridiculously high. His hand was ridiculously heavy, it was just unnecessary... I had mentioned before how I had wanted my tattoo to look, light black outlines, light shading, for a pretty side piece that would turn heads. What I got was not what I had in mind... the lines are so heavy and thick.. some of the pieces and pedals don't make sense.. Sucks having more wobbly/uneven lines then even lines.. the artist was sweet and funny and I was comfortable, (the pain was tolerable but also would have been easier if he wasn't pulling skin with each stroke) I was relatively fine until I saw the finished product in the mirror.. pretty unhappy with my tattoo. Luckily, I have an artist in auburn named Jay at Derm FX tattoo, who I know can fix some of the mistakes I'm really unhappy with.. worst part is, the whole tattoo is way to thick for what I was going for... and honestly every tattoo I've seen come out of this shop I haven't thought was amazing or even close to breathe taking. Thought I'd just share my experience publicly so people can take note... sucks knowing I have to get touch ups when you first look at your new tattoo that you were really excited about.. honestly, I wish I didn't have to pay for what I got..

Renton's current trend of erecting their Soviet style apartment blocks on every abandoned lot has killed parking for decades to come near this place. (Bye-bye, Berliner Pub, You'll be sorely missed.)2. Like everything else in this very crowded town, Diamond Tattoo is over capacity. You're better off getting an appointment and then scrounging for parking when you do go. Good luck! Walk in work will require a lengthy wait. Be smart: make an appointment.Wear sturdy shoes, because you'll be dealing with a poorly-managed construction project between your car and their front door. (Open trenches and heavy construction equipment everywhere for the past year or more. Many workers standing around. Not many safe crosswalks to be found.)Past experience with these folks was great but current conditions have persuaded me to find a shop that's at least more accessible. If it didn't sound nutty, I'd say the City of Renton was trying to push Majenta out of business. (It's not like this is Tacoma I'm talking about here.) It's like the old joke, "You can't get there from here."Piercing staff turnover is high. It seems to be a part of the profession. Just be flexible.

I went in for a rook & ended up leaving with a daith, it's so cute! After two days of INTENSE bleeding (I'm talking dripping down my face in the middle of work) lol it's finally healing nicelyThanks I love it ! Customer service is great as well.

Today I had the absolute pleasure of being tattooed by New York. She was kind, fun, and she did a fantastic job. When my appointment ran longer than expected she kept right on going, paid careful attention and didn't rush, and only charged me the amount she had quoted me as an estimate. I would highly recommend her, she has great skills and really clean lines. The shop environment was inviting and comfortable, everything was clean. The tattoo I got was nothing fancy, but it has a very personal meaning to me and the fact that she put so much care into it really mattered.

I went there for David several months ago. He did a wonderful job. He ended up moving to another shop so I decided to stick with him. I went back to Diamond tattoo to get my deposit that I had left there and I was treated so poorly. I went to the front desk and politely explained that I would like my deposit back. I immediately got attitude. After I was told that I would need to talk to the owner, I heard someone say "Another DAVID client is here!" "Great, this is how it's going to be." I thought. I was directed to speak to the owner and so I did. Never in my life have I heard so much negativity. First she asked me if I wanted her to finish it. Of course not. This was a custom piece that another artist had drawn out and started for me. I wanted to stick with him. After I told her that, all she had to say was nasty things about him, the other artists that left, and how she's losing another client. Ummm.... 1. I don't care what you have to say about him or the other artists that left, I just wanted my deposit back. 2. I was never her client. And 3. I would have never written this review if I was bullied so much! After several minutes of absolute negativity, I decided to let her keep my $50 deposit. Moral of the story:Go to Hidden Entity tattoo in Auburn. You'll be treated well and get outstanding work.
