Tai Li was excellent. I had a great experience getting my tattoo here. She gave me after care instructions that were different than other tattoo artists have given me before, and my tattoo ended up healing much faster than my previous ones! They also offered a handy package of all the supplies you need for a reasonable price. I would definitely go here again for another tattoo in the future.

I walked into Eastside Electric with only 1 small inner wrist tattoo on my body earlier this year. A few months later, I came out with 2 more awesome tattoos that I will treasure and excitedly show off for the rest of my life. Initially, I scheduled a large inner calf/cankle piece to memorialize the beginning of my mindfulness meditation process. It needed to be outer space themed to suit my purposes, so I went looking all over the area for a good artist with the appropriate portfolio. Conor didn't have any pieces in his albums that were quite like what I had in mind, but I was so impressed with his other work, and I loved his style enough to book with him anyway. I am so glad that I did! He came up with an end design that was even better than my original idea, and he made the colors of my larger leg piece really pop with extra detail and texture. Every person I've ever shown it to reacts the exact same way: drop jaw amazement and immediate statements of envy. It serves as my meditation mandala both in my mind visually and as a physical reminder on my person just in case I lose my balance in life, and I will cherish it always.The second tattoo I got with Conor was a much smaller, simpler, musically inspired piece that I wanted as yet another mental health reminder to myself. It's a treble and bass clef hybrid with a semicolon rather than the musically correct colon that should be there instead. It's in solidarity with the semicolon tattoo movement and is meant to remind me that listening to and creating music has been and will always be one of my go-to coping strategies when life gets tough. While it may not be as obviously beautiful and awe-inspiring as my larger, astronomy inspired piece it is just as precious to me.While I haven't booked with her yet personally, I watched Tai-Li tattoo some amazing creations on her clients when I came in for my tattoos and a touch-up, and I had a really REALLY hard time deciding who to book with initially between the two of them. I may just book with her for my next tattoo. That way Conor won't be the only artist represented on my body :P. On a more personal note, everyone who works at Eastside Electric is super friendly and cool. You will have a relaxed and enjoyable tattooing experience filled with good conversation and music from Eastside's awesome parlor playlist.

My husband got his first tattoo! Everyone in EET was friendly! I am so happy with the staff and our great tattoo artist Tai-Li! We will for sure be back for more great artwork!My husband had two crowns done(one for his mother and one for his father) and underneath his parents signatures. Tai-Li had already drawn up the sketches but after letting her know what he had in mind she made something up in less that 10 minuets. It was more than we had expected! She is truly a great artist! I'm so thankful that she made everything a breeze! We are very happy with EET! Thank you guys!

Connor is my artist. He is consummate professional and amazing artist. I completely trust him and he makes the process easy. He's constantly in contact through his drawing process ensuring you get what you want. The other artists at his shop are awesome too. Tai-li and Chris are extremely personable. I showed up early for my appointment. They both hung out with me and just shot the shit. Their customer service doesn't seemed forced, they're all just good people. If Connor wasn't already my guy I would get inked by either one of them without a doubt.

Tai Li did my tattoo and she is fantastic! Her technique is great and if it's your first tattoo (like me), then you are in good hands. I was very scared because I wasn't sure how much it would hurt. But Tai Li was talking to me the entire time so that I would be distracted. And it worked! :DI had designed my tattoo and Tai had to change it a little bit so that it would look better as a tattoo. She changed it multiple times so that I would be comfortable with her design. Very friendly person and I really enjoyed getting my tattoo done by her.Thanks Tai Li!

Disclaimers Included: Connor and Tai-Li are great artists, which is evident from their portfolios. Given, I did come in at a late time in the night, and Connor was working on someone and was clearly busy. However, I wasn't quite sure where to go when I came in because I didn't see anyone at the front desk. Connor greeted me, and seemed nice, but when I just said hello and wasn't sure even how to go forward because I'd never been in a tattoo shop before in my life, he just lifted his chin and looked at me blankly in a patronizing way. When I asked for Tai-Li, the experience went well at first, until I found out that it's a 60 dollar downpayment (which is good pricing, but bad tact) to even have a consultation (literally to see a sketch). This is not clearly written on their website at all. i understand sketches/preparations take time and effort, but what if I don't like her style? What if I want to pursue other options? It leaves no room for anything. When I told her that I would come in another day to make the payment, she was nice about it. But then, I showed her some images from Google for MY ideas of how I wanted this tattoo on my body. Given, I didn't have the best "tattoo shop etiquette" and probably came off as "insulting her artistry." But she just flat-out told me "It won't look anything like that." That was the whole point of me bringing those pictures is so I as a customer would be assured my personal image was coming across and could be translated into her artistry. Overall, I felt extremely uncomfortable and didn't feel welcomed there. I felt as though my reassurance was inferior.

Both artists are super friendly/talented and communicate well with their clients to make sure they are comfortable and get the exact design and style they want. On the day of my session with Connor, I lost my wallet and he was great at finding another spot in his schedule for me so I didn't have to wait another 2 months to get my tattoo (he is usually booked a couple of months ahead). The pricing for their work is unbeatable! I know a lot of people who come here and everyone agrees they're the best.

I recently got my navel pierced here and the woman did an incredible job. It was basically painless and was very well done. The cleaning instructions that were recommended (anti bacterial soap and q tips) area what I use when it comes to piercings, our use saline/salt water instead but that didn't bother me at all when they recommended it because every piercing place I have gone to has recommended that method. You kind of end up just finding what cleaning method works for you if you get piercings in my opinion by doing research and such. The workers are very professional and friendly and made me feel comfortable and the hygiene was spot on. I will definitely be going back to this place for my next piercings and possibly even my first tattoo.

I came here to get a couple of piercings, based on the recommendation of a friend who's gotten tattoos here before. Safety-wise did they did everything they needed to and we're very clean. It was more of a problem with attitude. It's like they didn't really care that I was there. They just handed me their waiver, which I read thoroughly and signed. And after my ears were pierced they didn't really talk about follow-up care without me prompting them to do so. They were like, oh yeah right, here's some information on how to take care of your ears and if you want you can buy a piercing cleaning kit. The staff was very dismissive and aloof. I realize that I was not getting a tattoo, which they specialize in, but if your going to offer piercings at least care a little more about your customers. This is one of those types of Industries where First Impressions last a long time. You can easily lose a potential long-term customer based off a first visit. Overall I would say that they did an adequate job. I'm definitely not coming back here again to get anymore piercings.

Eastside Electric Tattoo is a very professional business. I am an older woman who would certainly get double takes at my presence in a tattoo shop. However, Conner was absolutely accepting and responsive to my needs. My earlobe needed to be pierced following surgical removal of scar tissue, which by the way, failed. Conner offered his expert advice and cautions regarding piercing through scar tissue. I am absolutely thrilled with the results! Little or no pain following piercing and no infection! The treatment kit worked well. I highly recommend this tattoo shop!

My 7yo daughter wanted to get her ears pierced and I wanted to get it done right so I researched local piercing shops and reached out to a few via email. Conor responded quickly and gave me the confidence that he knew what he was doing AND he was thoughtful enough to ask me to prep my daughter on what was going to happen. He was patient and answered all my questions (overprotective mama here!). When we arrived, we had a short wait (Conor is a popular guy!) and a great experience with the actual ear piercing. I was more nervous than my daughter! He had a ton of cute colored gem studs to choose from, and guarantees the jewelry. He told her what he was going to do beforehand, counted down for her, and did it quickly. She said it hurt less than getting a shot :) He went over the aftercare carefully, and his cleaning "kit" has been super helpful. Just a day later, my daughter says it doesn't hurt at all and there's no bleeding or even redness. Awesome experience. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to get their kids' ears pierced. It's not cheap, but he knows what he's doing and well worth the price for something this permanent.

I sat down & started playing on my phone and he grabbed me within like 10 minutes. I happened to come in on a super busy day & I appreciated that he did what he could to get me taken care of ASAP. So, thanks, Connor! (And thanks to the dude getting tattooed for being so cool about taking a break). I'll be back for sure!!

Yes, the eastside electric tattoo moved to a new location up the street. But, i would NOT recommend going to this place. I had a very interesting experience and now have had other professional pierces question how reliable this company is. First off, the piercer used a butterfly backing on a brand new piercing in my tragus piercing. Leaving me no space for swelling and ontop a ton of bacteria to collect on a healing wound ( yeah... smart right...) they used a earring for my tragus piercing...how professional is that? To top it off i went to a top notch shop everyone knows DEEP ROOTS and got a second tragus percing on my other ear. When i explained i had just gotten my tragus done 2 weeks before, they were floored. I told them the cleaning procedures the "professional" told me like use dial on the wound to clean it and wipe with warm water with a Q tip. Well first off, deep roots explained that anti bacterial soap is too harsh for a fresh piercing, itll slow down the healing process. So not only did electric tattoo give me a cheap/wrong jewerly, they informed me wrong on how to clean my fresh wound. Bottom line, i wouldnt consider them professional or informative. Too me thats majorly important....

Found out about him from a coworker at the time, who has several amazing pieces by him as well, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I got a watercolor tree, yes the one featured in the Yelp photos, and I still get compliments on it almost daily, and it's been almost three years! I think that says it all!! Much love Conor!

Sori did an amazing job on a large leg piece for me. She worked with my very amorphous idea and developed it into a solid concept of a tree with showcasing all four seasons to frame an owl tattoo I already had. The final product was done with her unique style over the course of several sessions. I now have a beautiful piece of art on my leg with clean lines, bright colors, and bold shading which created an almost 3D effect. She is professional, with a great bedside manner, I will absolutely come back to her for more tattoos.

From the first phone call to set up a consultation, through to the tattoo I got in the end, I can't say enough good things. I was nervous and he put me at ease. He listened to exactly what I wanted (Angel Wings) and sketched them to perfection. On the day of my tattoo, he was encouraging and excited to give me THE exact tattoo I had envisioned and that I would love!!! And I do love it.The shop is clean and welcoming, prices are very good, and I'd go back there in a flash.Thank you, Conor!

She worked with my very amorphous idea and developed it into a solid concept of a tree with showcasing all four seasons to frame an owl tattoo I already had. The final product was done with her unique style over the course of several sessions. I now have a beautiful piece of art on my leg with clean lines, bright colors, and bold shading which created an almost 3D effect. She is professional, with a great bedside manner, I will absolutely come back to her for more tattoos.

It still isn't finished, we worked for about 3 hours and I was done but she was courteous and made sure I was comfortable.The actual shop was very clean, I noticed they won king 5 best of Redmond, which is cool, shows the community likes them. I love this place, I stumbled upon it a month after they opened and met Connor and we consulted my tattoo while playing some game like russian roulette where it shocks your finger if you lose. Funniest consultation I have ever had.Anyways went in and got my biggest tattoo yet and was blown away. I was amazed with the free hand work on the shading. Also it was for a very reasonable price, especially for the work. Conor is an incredible artist and will definitely be going back soon for my next tattoo. I have recommended all my friends getting tattoos to this place and they have all been really happy. Eastside Electric is the best tattoo place around here and is by far my favorite and gonna be the place i get my tattoos as long as I'm here.Thank You Connor!

Tai Li was excellent. I had a great experience getting my tattoo here. She gave me after care instructions that were different than other tattoo artists have given me before, and my tattoo ended up healing much faster than my previous ones! They also offered a handy package of all the supplies you need for a reasonable price. I would definitely go here again for another tattoo in the future.

I walked into Eastside Electric with only 1 small inner wrist tattoo on my body earlier this year. A few months later, I came out with 2 more awesome tattoos that I will treasure and excitedly show off for the rest of my life. Initially, I scheduled a large inner calf/cankle piece to memorialize the beginning of my mindfulness meditation process. It needed to be outer space themed to suit my purposes, so I went looking all over the area for a good artist with the appropriate portfolio. Conor didn't have any pieces in his albums that were quite like what I had in mind, but I was so impressed with his other work, and I loved his style enough to book with him anyway. I am so glad that I did! He came up with an end design that was even better than my original idea, and he made the colors of my larger leg piece really pop with extra detail and texture. Every person I've ever shown it to reacts the exact same way: drop jaw amazement and immediate statements of envy. It serves as my meditation mandala both in my mind visually and as a physical reminder on my person just in case I lose my balance in life, and I will cherish it always.The second tattoo I got with Conor was a much smaller, simpler, musically inspired piece that I wanted as yet another mental health reminder to myself. It's a treble and bass clef hybrid with a semicolon rather than the musically correct colon that should be there instead. It's in solidarity with the semicolon tattoo movement and is meant to remind me that listening to and creating music has been and will always be one of my go-to coping strategies when life gets tough. While it may not be as obviously beautiful and awe-inspiring as my larger, astronomy inspired piece it is just as precious to me.While I haven't booked with her yet personally, I watched Tai-Li tattoo some amazing creations on her clients when I came in for my tattoos and a touch-up, and I had a really REALLY hard time deciding who to book with initially between the two of them. I may just book with her for my next tattoo. That way Conor won't be the only artist represented on my body :P. On a more personal note, everyone who works at Eastside Electric is super friendly and cool. You will have a relaxed and enjoyable tattooing experience filled with good conversation and music from Eastside's awesome parlor playlist.

But Tai Li was talking to me the entire time so that I would be distracted. And it worked! :DI had designed my tattoo and Tai had to change it a little bit so that it would look better as a tattoo. She changed it multiple times so that I would be comfortable with her design. Very friendly person and I really enjoyed getting my tattoo done by her.Thanks Tai Li!

Given, I did come in at a late time in the night, and Connor was working on someone and was clearly busy. However, I wasn't quite sure where to go when I came in because I didn't see anyone at the front desk. Connor greeted me, and seemed nice, but when I just said hello and wasn't sure even how to go forward because I'd never been in a tattoo shop before in my life, he just lifted his chin and looked at me blankly in a patronizing way. When I asked for Tai-Li, the experience went well at first, until I found out that it's a 60 dollar downpayment (which is good pricing, but bad tact) to even have a consultation (literally to see a sketch). This is not clearly written on their website at all. i understand sketches/preparations take time and effort, but what if I don't like her style? What if I want to pursue other options? It leaves no room for anything. When I told her that I would come in another day to make the payment, she was nice about it. But then, I showed her some images from Google for MY ideas of how I wanted this tattoo on my body. Given, I didn't have the best "tattoo shop etiquette" and probably came off as "insulting her artistry." But she just flat-out told me "It won't look anything like that." That was the whole point of me bringing those pictures is so I as a customer would be assured my personal image was coming across and could be translated into her artistry. Overall, I felt extremely uncomfortable and didn't feel welcomed there. I felt as though my reassurance was inferior.

Both artists are super friendly/talented and communicate well with their clients to make sure they are comfortable and get the exact design and style they want. On the day of my session with Connor, I lost my wallet and he was great at finding another spot in his schedule for me so I didn't have to wait another 2 months to get my tattoo (he is usually booked a couple of months ahead). The pricing for their work is unbeatable! I know a lot of people who come here and everyone agrees they're the best.

I recently got my navel pierced here and the woman did an incredible job. It was basically painless and was very well done. The cleaning instructions that were recommended (anti bacterial soap and q tips) area what I use when it comes to piercings, our use saline/salt water instead but that didn't bother me at all when they recommended it because every piercing place I have gone to has recommended that method. You kind of end up just finding what cleaning method works for you if you get piercings in my opinion by doing research and such. The workers are very professional and friendly and made me feel comfortable and the hygiene was spot on. I will definitely be going back to this place for my next piercings and possibly even my first tattoo.

I came here to get a couple of piercings, based on the recommendation of a friend who's gotten tattoos here before. Safety-wise did they did everything they needed to and we're very clean. It was more of a problem with attitude. It's like they didn't really care that I was there. They just handed me their waiver, which I read thoroughly and signed. And after my ears were pierced they didn't really talk about follow-up care without me prompting them to do so. They were like, oh yeah right, here's some information on how to take care of your ears and if you want you can buy a piercing cleaning kit. The staff was very dismissive and aloof. I realize that I was not getting a tattoo, which they specialize in, but if your going to offer piercings at least care a little more about your customers. This is one of those types of Industries where First Impressions last a long time. You can easily lose a potential long-term customer based off a first visit. Overall I would say that they did an adequate job. I'm definitely not coming back here again to get anymore piercings.

However, Conner was absolutely accepting and responsive to my needs. My earlobe needed to be pierced following surgical removal of scar tissue, which by the way, failed. Conner offered his expert advice and cautions regarding piercing through scar tissue. I am absolutely thrilled with the results! Little or no pain following piercing and no infection! The treatment kit worked well. I highly recommend this tattoo shop!

My 7yo daughter wanted to get her ears pierced and I wanted to get it done right so I researched local piercing shops and reached out to a few via email. Conor responded quickly and gave me the confidence that he knew what he was doing AND he was thoughtful enough to ask me to prep my daughter on what was going to happen. He was patient and answered all my questions (overprotective mama here!). When we arrived, we had a short wait (Conor is a popular guy!) and a great experience with the actual ear piercing. I was more nervous than my daughter! He had a ton of cute colored gem studs to choose from, and guarantees the jewelry. He told her what he was going to do beforehand, counted down for her, and did it quickly. She said it hurt less than getting a shot :) He went over the aftercare carefully, and his cleaning "kit" has been super helpful. Just a day later, my daughter says it doesn't hurt at all and there's no bleeding or even redness. Awesome experience. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to get their kids' ears pierced. It's not cheap, but he knows what he's doing and well worth the price for something this permanent.

I got an industrial on Friday night with Connor - he was with a client for a tattoo & told me it'd be probably a 30 minute wait. I sat down & started playing on my phone and he grabbed me within like 10 minutes. I happened to come in on a super busy day & I appreciated that he did what he could to get me taken care of ASAP. So, thanks, Connor! (And thanks to the dude getting tattooed for being so cool about taking a break). I'll be back for sure!!

Yes, the eastside electric tattoo moved to a new location up the street. But, i would NOT recommend going to this place. I had a very interesting experience and now have had other professional pierces question how reliable this company is. First off, the piercer used a butterfly backing on a brand new piercing in my tragus piercing. Leaving me no space for swelling and ontop a ton of bacteria to collect on a healing wound ( yeah... smart right...) they used a earring for my tragus piercing...how professional is that? To top it off i went to a top notch shop everyone knows DEEP ROOTS and got a second tragus percing on my other ear. When i explained i had just gotten my tragus done 2 weeks before, they were floored. I told them the cleaning procedures the "professional" told me like use dial on the wound to clean it and wipe with warm water with a Q tip. Well first off, deep roots explained that anti bacterial soap is too harsh for a fresh piercing, itll slow down the healing process. So not only did electric tattoo give me a cheap/wrong jewerly, they informed me wrong on how to clean my fresh wound. Bottom line, i wouldnt consider them professional or informative. Too me thats majorly important....

And the tattoo is rad enough that a Suicide Girl (Univorn Huevos) took a picture of it, which I feel says a lot about a tattoo. I recently got my inner wrists tattooed by Sori and she was also really cool. She did a great job and everyone loves my tattoos! I have been sending people here for a long time, and I will continue to do so for as long as I can!

This was the best experience at any establishment I have had in the 8 years I have lived in Redmond. Conor runs a top-notch business and Tylee did an amazing job on my tattoo. I called on short notice due to a tragic event in our lives and they welcomed me with open arms and went out of their way to make me feel better. Conor is phenomenal. I have one piece, so far, my sister has another, and I have three cartilage piercings by him. Great guy, awesome atmosphere. I recommend him till I'm blue in the face. Found out about him from a coworker at the time, who has several amazing pieces by him as well, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I got a watercolor tree, yes the one featured in the Yelp photos, and I still get compliments on it almost daily, and it's been almost three years! I think that says it all!! Much love Conor!

She worked with my very amorphous idea and developed it into a solid concept of a tree with showcasing all four seasons to frame an owl tattoo I already had. The final product was done with her unique style over the course of several sessions. I now have a beautiful piece of art on my leg with clean lines, bright colors, and bold shading which created an almost 3D effect. She is professional, with a great bedside manner, I will absolutely come back to her for more tattoos.

From the first phone call to set up a consultation, through to the tattoo I got in the end, I can't say enough good things. I was nervous and he put me at ease. He listened to exactly what I wanted (Angel Wings) and sketched them to perfection. On the day of my tattoo, he was encouraging and excited to give me THE exact tattoo I had envisioned and that I would love!!! I can't recommend this place enough. My artist Sori did a custom designed cover-up for me that I will always cherish. I am not very artistic so the description I gave was fairly vague and yet she brought to life more than I could've hoped for (just check the photos for the Batman Animated Series mural for proof). She was pleasant to work with, professional, courteous, and very talented.

Having interviewed and having had work done by other artists in the region, I chose Conor for a large project. I'm a very particular person. Conor makes it a priority to provide quality, respectful customer service even to the difficult with vague conceptualization (Hello, my name is Paul...). Most importantly, in my opinion, he will be upfront and square with you. He's on your team. When she did my nose blood came rushing out of my nose. She tried to clean it up. I went into the bathroom to clean it off. It dried up. i am happy with my nose ring with a diamond stud and not a cheap cz stone. i bought dr piercing aftercare medicated cotton swab. I like it! My nose is fine now. Thank you!

I got a tattoo here 3 days ago, and it is beautiful! It's my first large tattoo and I was a bit nervous, I gave my idea to tai-li and she ran with it , making it look better than I had imagined! It still isn't finished, we worked for about 3 hours and I was done but she was courteous and made sure I was comfortable.The actual shop was very clean, I noticed they won king 5 best of Redmond, which is cool, shows the community likes them. I will be recommending this place to friends , and will be making an appointment for my husband to get work done in the near future

This was my third tattoo and I decided to get a quote on my side (rib cage area). I came in to asked about the pricing and to set up an appointment. Tai-Li was my tattoo artist and she came up with a really nice font for me. I love it! She was so nice and chill. She was super professional and really accommodating to my indecisive ways. My friend who came with me is coming back to get her first tattoo here because she really liked Tai-Li's work.

We took him a picture of a sound wave of our daughter's laugh and he transformed it into a beautiful piece of art.He could have done a simpler version that was less detailed but he spent the time to make it perfect. I love this place, I stumbled upon it a month after they opened and met Connor and we consulted my tattoo while playing some game like russian roulette where it shocks your finger if you lose. Funniest consultation I have ever had.Anyways went in and got my biggest tattoo yet and was blown away. I was amazed with the free hand work on the shading. Also it was for a very reasonable price, especially for the work. Conor is an incredible artist and will definitely be going back soon for my next tattoo. I have recommended all my friends getting tattoos to this place and they have all been really happy. Eastside Electric is the best tattoo place around here and is by far my favorite and gonna be the place i get my tattoos as long as I'm here.Thank You Connor!
