Got a wrist tattoo done by Agus and it was by far the best tattoo experience I've had. He kept me engaged while he worked and wasn't afraid to chat. When I started to get sick since I'm hypoglycemic he ran out to my husband and grabbed me a soda so I could keep my sugars up. The artists were friendly and the shop was clean and well put together! Augus did my tat. Said I could come back for touch ups and kept blowing me off. The work would have took 15 to 20 minutes at most but he just didn't have time. but he had time to take my money. I would not recommend this tattoo shop or the tattoo artist Augus. Read Less

Great shop, with approachable staff! None of the "we don't have time for your stupid questions" attitude you get at some of the other shops. Husband went in to firm up ideas on a cover-up tatt. It was a little too large to incorporate into another piece. Josh suggested just sharpening up the lines of an otherwise nice design & maybe blackening it out. Turned out great...looks soo much better! Also offered to touch it up if there is any discoloration once it heals.Definitely a fan! We will be back. Read Less

Josh did my tattoo today, and it turned out just like the picture I had brought him. It was a small tattoo, but it had crisp, fine lines - exactly what I wanted! I was taken care of promptly, and I was in and out of there in about 30 minutes. He told me to come back if I need any touching up or anything. Great job! Read Less

My friend and I just got tattooed by Ron last night. The level of professionalism by this artist and shop are unparalleled. I called earlier in the week to make an appointment, which they don't do over the phone, but the person I spoke with answered my questions and was very nice. We walked in Saturday expecting for them to be too busy to squeeze us in but Ron came out and spoke with both of us. I wanted small Roman numerals on my ribs. He offered suggestions to make them more original and even drew up some different ways it could be done. I still wanted plain block lettering and Ron listened to me and wasn't indignant that I still wanted the plain font style. He was super friendly, personable, and talkative. My friend had to have her top off due to placement, and Ron showed an immense amount of decorum which made us both feel comfortable. The prices are very reasonable and the shop is clean, and the decor was very cool. This will definitely be my new shop, and I will be telling everyone I know to have their work done here. I've been to a lot of tattoo shops all over the country and I have never, ever seen a better shop than Underworld. This place is killer!The shop itself is what I think of as a true classic tattoo parlor. It's not one of those "cutting edge" hipster joints where skinny, wimpy guys get handlebar mustaches tattooed on their fingers, but a real shop where the tradition of tattooing is clearly evident.This is the real deal.I got both of the tops of my hands done by Josh and can honestly say they are the best pieces on my body. Crisp edges, smooth lines, rich colors, and exactly what I was picturing in my head. Josh went out of his way to re-draw my pieces a couple of times, without complaint, to make sure I got exactly what I wanted.While the work was getting done, other tattooers would come in just to check in, get jazzed about the new ink and even joke around a bit. Great friendly vibe in this place. No pretensions or egos like I've seen in too many other Seattle area shops.You can be jolly well sure that I'll be going back.Heck, I've just found my shop. I just got another tattoo here a couple of months ago by Leo-he is awesome! I had a very specific idea of what I wanted and it turned out pretty amazing. The pricing there isn't too bad and they've generally got good music on- which seems kind of important to me when you're sitting around for a couple of hours. Patrick did my very first tattoo and it's amazing. I have no drawing skills and couldn't find anyone who could draw out my design the way I wanted it. Patrick worked with me step by step on the design and through each sitting. I get many, MANY compliments on it saying that the animals are so life like that when I move it makes it look as if the fur on the wolf and the mane on the horse are flowing.To top it all off, my boyfriend got one the same time I did and Patrick was pretty awesome about booking out his entire day for the two of us to go back to back. Patrick will have all of my business for as long as he is doing tattoos.Patrick is intelligent, entertaining, and very artistic.
