Now this is my first review ever and I'm surprised this place even compelled me to write this in the first place. My cousin and I went in for matching tattoos today because it was her last day before she goes back to Cali, I researched a little bit online and found this place was close by and said you know what? Let's do it. We got matching tattoos of an outline of a heart. A simple tattoo which is pretty hard to mess up, I call the shop to ask a few simple questions such as "are walk-ins allowed?, how much for a quarter sized tattoo?" The guy on the phone was super rude about me asking questions making me feel stupid for asking, RUDELY told me I had to come in person to talk about prices, but I play it off as well maybe he's having a bad day? My cousin and I get there and walk in, it's nice, a guy comes forward not even introducing himself, I explain to him I had called 15 minutes before we came and he gets another guy, who didn't even introduce himself, to which I found out later that his name was Jeremie (through research). He asked me what was going on so I go on to explain I had called 15 minutes before-hand & as I'm talking he CUTS ME OFF and ROLLS HIS EYES at me as I'm explaining and says "just tell me what you want." His body language, the way he spoke, the way he was with me was totally unacceptable to me. My cousin got her tattoo first and I got mine second. He printed out a picture of a heart which was definitely not the one she had asked for. As you can see looks completely different, and we both even said "could you make it slimmer?" He didn't do that, he said he could slim down the sides some more using a pen but still just straight up made it look like some weird rectangular shape? I felt like if I had asked for anything I'd be met with attitude. The guy was a total douche. He rushed through the both of us which made us feel like he could care less if it came out right or not. The tattoo my cousin got looked weird while the one I got looked slightly more like a heart. At the end once we paid he said It was 60$ EACH for this... Again I don't know how you can mess up something so simple, but of course I'm proven wrong by this place. I'd give this place a hard 0 stars if I could. I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYBODY. Save your money and do more research and don't make the same mistake my cousin and I did. Don't go here y'all.

I had a great experience here. I went in a couple of weeks ago and talked with Jeremie about what I had in mind. He gave me a few things to think about, I sent him a couple of photos, and we scheduled a day for me to come in to get it done. He was very pleasant and professional, and I'm delighted with the finished product. He made sure I understood what I should do regarding aftercare. He also advised that I should come back in about a month so he could check it and have any needed touch ups done, which is at no charge. I'm pretty new to tattoos, but I felt the price was very reasonable. I recommend this business without hesitation.

I would like to first start out by saying that this shop was the first shop out of 4 or 5 I visited during a research trip to see where I would like to get my first tattoo done. I had finally landed on an image and thought it was time to find a place. They were the only shop to greet me as soon as I walked in, even though they were busy, and took the time to get someone who was available to talk too. One shop I went to was a very popular shop in Seattle and I stood at the counter for a good 5 minutes before anyone said anything to me. The other couple shops were off putting and snobbish. These guys were enthusiastic and felt like they wanted to be there doing art. I quickly decided I wanted to get my work done there but hadn't yet spoken to anyone. Scott came up and we discussed what I wanted. He was excited because he felt like it would line up perfectly for his style and sure enough as soon as he started showing me some of his work I knew that this was the artist. Flash forward a bit and with my crazy schedule and the busy shop, it was difficult to find time to get the work done but we kept in communication and finally landed on an availability. When I arrived, he had two designs in mind, we landed on which one and quickly got to work. The results after almost 24 hours......I couldn't be happier!

A big shout out to Family Tradition Tattoo. Very professional and very nice. They do exactly what I want. Go to Lee Vigil. She is one of the best artists I have ever been to. I have told a lot of people about this place and they have travel as far as Everett to come to Puyallup. One friend even came from Yakima to get tatted. So worth the wait and the travel. Go now!!!

I told her to call this kick ass place and Jeremie gave her an awesome tattoo as well! She loved him so much, she is going to fly back here to have him do another one. Can't say enough about Lee at Family Tradition Tattoo - what an asset to the business. We didn't have a lot of time to research area tattooers, so we went with our gut - good choice! Lee was informative, knowledgeable, skilled, personable, and willing to do what we wanted, but also professional in her suggestions. She was gracious in fitting us in on short notice, and all three of us are so happy and satisfied with our tattoos. I'm having a larger piece done by Lee and this has been by far the most positive experience I have ever had in a shop. The artist here are so very talented and are willing to go above and beyond to place artwork on your body that you can be proud to show off for a lifetime! I am happy to have found a local artist that I trust and can continue to use for many years to come!

Now this is my first review ever and I'm surprised this place even compelled me to write this in the first place.
