I went to get a Valentine’s Day tattoo for my girlfriend and I have a couple complaints first the price for what was done is very overpriced second I have no problem with people smoking weed but when you seen noticeably high before a service is rendered is a problem. I went a while back to get my septum pierced. The piercer was super friendly and very helpful, but my septum was pierced in the wrong spot and it is very crooked. I can't put any other jewelry in it other than the piercing jewelry because of this. Super nice and clean space, but not the best piercing. Read Less

Got my tongue pierced by Joe. He did a horrible job. He was rude and acted like he was annoyed I even came in. My piercing is crooked and the bottom ball is practically at the tip of my tongue. Will never go back there again Read Less

We have always liked this tattoo/piercing place. One is because they have always welcomed our children in there if they are with us while we are getting a tattoo or like today and the owner Joe Boyle pierced my daughter's nose and pierced my son's ears. Made us feel comfortable. This place is always clean and sterile for what they do. It was fast and painless for my kids. Thank you for being there as well as very reasonable rates compared to other establishments in the area hands down. We only recommend this place to anyone. Some good some bad things. Ok, Trent is a good dude, very nice and personable and not your typical tattoo artist (at least the ones I've seen) who act like homeless philistines. He gave me a walk in tattoo and it came out very well and I have ZERO complaints about his work. Top notch. Now the bad..... Whoever the cheap owners are they charge you 10 percent extra to use a card. Yes 10% .... Like its 1983 and they just came out with credit cards. Also, there's no military discount here.... At a tattoo shop.... In a military town... Not very intelligent since the military is why we can even have a tattoo shop open and not ISIS cutting women's heads off for showing their thighs in public.... But, that's just my opinion. $700 given to Owner "HOE" oops joe lol. ____ got half a tattoo. joe lied said he never had $$. second time I called he said he had it because ___ put $700 in his hand. Sorry his artist died but he refuses to finish tat after $700 or even refund $100 deposit..Thief and a liar had to call twice for him to admit he had all the money. RIP OFF he cant refund of finish because he doesn't "FEEL" the tattoo. He is the owner and a liar. Wonder if I call again if he will think of someone else who has the $ that he never had that after the second call he had that he gave away. Whatever. Dishonest Horrible business owner. He should hope that I pass like his artist because I still have a $700 problem with SILVER CITY TAT and "HOE" the owner. Unethical business. LOVED my experience here. I made an appointment with Joe to get a tat for my 18th. I gave him the basic idea of what I wanted( a memorial tattoo in some type of script) and the drawing he came up with was more than I could imagine. He helped me find the right place on my bicep to place it. Joe was very pleasant to chat with and he even made an effort to chat with my friend who was their for moral support. Two days ago i got a piercing (a week earlier i had gone to a shop in silverdale that i will not be revisiting) and their level of professionalism was unmatched by other shops I'd been to (mostly in silverdale and I wont use names) I'm very glad I chose to go here. The man was quiet but not rude unlike other places I had entered earlier in the week. I also looked through their flash art and tattoo portfolio and was impressed by the detail and outstandingly vibrant colors. Joe Boyle owner and tattoo artist at Silvercity Tattoo is talented and his shop is one of the oldest in the area with a good reputation. Joe has tattooed me 3 times over the years. He does an amazing job. The shop is always clean and tattoo artists are a lively bunch of guys so it is a comfortable and fun atmosphere. There is cool art work on the walls too. Brandon Stewart is also a tattoo artist there. He has done 7 of my tattoos. He is a great artist. I haven't had Trent do any work on me yet but i have seen his work and it is solid as well. When selecting a tattoo you must take your time and get it right...no rush sessions here that's for sure...Trent was my artists name and he did a phenominal job on my red dragon tattoo...it is a very busy shop so you should make an appointment before you go, but over all excellent service, and top notch skill...i would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for quality, affordability, and professionalism...i'm going back to get my forth! I have gone into Silver City to ask questions, and seen the artists around town, and have always been treated not too nicely.  A friend went in because she'd lost a ball from her nipple piercing, and was asking what they thought she should do (NOT asking for a replacement ball or anything like that!) and they gave her some trite line and rushed her out the door.  Would not even talk about the possibility of her buying another ball (matter of fact, snapped that they don't sell JUST the balls), nor would they talk to her about buying another ring.I have seen the artists from Silver City frequently, and they all just seem stuck up and not the most pleasant people.FYI- I have at current count, three tattoos, no piercings currently but have had.  Have more ink planned.
