I'm a total cartoon junkie who loves tattoos, but wants more out of my cartoon-inspired work and have the spirit of what I love about them. Kipp jumped right in my Rick and Morty tattoo and I couldn't be happier with the decision to trust his flow and sensibilities when I had him take it on. We hired Gina and Alyssa Craig through their company to do face painting and balloon twisting for a nonprofit event we were holding in October of 2016. We paid them close to $1000 for their services. The day of the event, Gina cancelled due to weather and said she would refund our money within 60 days. After weeks of emails and calls I finally spoke with her and she said it would take 60 days due to the fact that all their money went into their business and they would not have it until 60 days. I told her I was understanding but we needed the refund before the end of the year. She said she would have our money. I then followed up with numerous emails and calls but with no avail. Yesterday Gina finally called me back. I told her we needed our money in full immediately and told me she would talk with Alyssa and get back to me later the same day. I never heard back from her. Today I called and Gina answered but told me she was not Gina, even though her facebook page says she is taking clients. I called again and told her I knew it was her and told her who I was, she then hung up on me and is now not taking calls. How can someone take money from a nonprofit event, not provide the services, then give us the run around and refuse to return the money.Sounds like a huge scam artist. I would never trust this person with any services they provide. Since writing my first review we have not heard back from Gina or Alyssa, until this past week when she sent me an email stating she was sending us a check for a full refund. Almost 7 months after she cancelled on us. We received the check. She then sent me this message on Yelp : "You also forgot to mention your contract was a NON REFUNDABLE contract. However we didn't feel it was okay to keep $925 due to the sever weather storm. Many vendors canceled events that day. Safety first." We find it in poor taste for her to try and use the "non refundable" excuse as to why she chose not to refund us 7 months ago. We had a few vendors who could not make the event due to weather and they all gave us a full refund. When she cancelled on us, she said she would send us a full refund and continued to promise us a refund for months. You can not say "oh well it's non refundable" when you cancel/no show on a customer. Their actions after that clearly showed she was doing everything she could to avoid refunding us our money. In the end, we are glad we received a refund and the money can go back towards the nonprofit we support. Lesson learned, do your due diligence when hiring vendors, and ask for references. Read Less

Went in a week ago with some friends and met Mel for the first time. She did a cute whale tattoo on my wrist bone. So I spoke with her about my other tattoo ideas and got great prices quoted to me, so I booked a session with her for this weekend. Received two more amazing tattoos. I can't give enough thanks to an outstanding artist. Will definitely tell all my friends about her and will definitely make the drive for more tattoos. Read Less
