My mom and I just got tattoos from Patrick here, and it was a great experience. He was super accommodating and friendly, patiently working us into his busy schedule and staying late so mom could get her (1st) tattoo before she flew home. He was clear about the issues involved with where I originally wanted mine, but was willing to work with me so that it was in a place I like that would also heal and look decent. I got a tattoo here last week, and it was a terrific experience. Me and my brother got matching tattoos while he was here on leave from the Navy. The tattoos were fairly small (2" x 4") and Nathan performed the work very well with a strong attention to detail. This was my first tattoo and I was not sure what to expect. Suzanne was fantastic - this was my first tattoo and she was super patient with me. She spent several weeks working with me on my design idea, and was very attentive to the details. When it came time to do the work, she spent an hour placing it exactly to fit into my desired place while also optimizing the positioning and size for the best look. Suzanne worked with me until I was completely happy with a complex flower design. This was my first tattoo so she was very artful in suggesting things that would make it a better tattoo but not take away from my original idea. Her skill as an artist was extremely helpful as her sketches were EXACTLY like the tattoo. No surprises. My design took four sittings of 2 to 3 hours each and she was very sensitive to my pain level in how she proceeded with the design. Can not recommend her highly enough. Went to go see Suzanne on 5/11/16. Me and the soon-to-be misses got wedding band tattoos. Suzanne was amazing and very accommodating. The shop was clean and well decorated (woman-owned...go figure!). I had a half sleeve piece done by Mitch in January 2013. Mitch had overbooked himself and when I arrived the first day he asked to reschedule a couple of days later. I arrived for my next appt on time and was asked to come back in 4 hours. I am patient and was on vacation so the rebooking wasn't an issue other than I already had plans for the timeframe I got moved to. When we were ready to start it was clear that my idea of what I wanted wasn't communicated very well, however his drawings had aspects of what I wanted and he did a nice job on the drawing,  so I knew we could work with it. My asking to make the changes seemed to upset him though.  He was tired and hungry from overbooking himself, he hadn't eaten, when I suggested he take a quick break and do that, he refused.  It seemed he really just wanted to be done with the whole thing almost before it started. I now have a tattoo that is full of scarring because he was too heavy with the needle, maybe from working when he was tired and hungry? Lucky for me its a black and gray piece so the scarring is mostly hidden in the design, but this is the only tattoo I have with any scarring.  It needs touch up of course, but I didn't go back because I felt like doing the piece to begin with wasn't something he really wanted to do. I am getting another large piece this year, and currently reading reviews trying to find a local shop which inspired me to leave one here. Personally I didn't like the completely open design of the shop, but not everyone would care about that. Read Less
