Chris did an amazing job on my finger tattoos! He took the time to help me figure out a placement for them that had meaning and made sense with an existing one I already had. He also made sure to select just the right colors for each one. I just had a piece done by Chris and I have several fantastic points to make. 1). This tattoo was a partial cover-up using existing ink to amplify the new tattoo. Chris did an amazing job and I'll post pics of just how amazing it is. 2). It's across my entire upper back. Chris was able to add a level of detail and brutality(exactly as I described to him) in one session. Unbelievably cool. 3). His creative insights were invaluable in the draft phase of the tattoo. He was 100% up front and honest with what he felt comfortable with achieving and what he saw as not achievable. So many artists will just say they can do anything, just to get your money. Chris is real AF. 4). He was totally accommodating of any positions or break times or anything I needed throughout. He was professional and chill the entire time. 100% sanitary and costumer focused. Really great shop. Great artists and great work done by them. Got a tattoo by Shye, and she did an amazing job. She really took the time to care for the detail. She definitely builds an awesome picture in her head of how she can make a tattoo look the best, then creates the magic. After getting art from 8 different shops and artists. Michael has done my sleeve and my cover up, only Artist I will let touch me now. Shy has completed the prettiest dragon fly I have ever seen on my girl friend. This place is always clean and professional. Shye is so talented and so sweet, she always goes above and beyond to assure I'm comfortable and informed with what's going on my body. I now have more than 20 hours invested with her and am 100% thrilled with everything she's done. I'd recommend her to anyone and everyone looking to get tattooed. Shye is also extremely fair with what she charges; she does not charge for breaks or set up/consult time. My girlfriend and I went in a little while ago for consultation, and Shye was extremely rude. She was condescending and disrespectful. She showed an extreme lack of costumer service and was just so degrading about our relationship - which is not even relevant to her work as a tattoo artist. This was one of many tattoos for my husband and my first tattoo ever but it will definitely be our most cherished tattoo by far! Our journey began on February 20th with Chris Chandler. We presented an idea to him and he let us know all the concerns, placement issues, and his availability at that point. He got back to us within a week with... the draft of it and we discussed modifications to it. We came back within a few days with the design perfectly how we envisioned it. We paid our deposit and on March 6th our idea became a reality! Chris's attention to detail is remarkable and his years of experience really show in his work. I was nervous as this was my first but I was also excited for how it was going to feel and look. I like that the artists have all their own rooms to ensure privacy. Chris kept me calm and had movies to watch to take my mind off of it (though still quite hard to do for me). He was very thorough and informative of what to expect in the healing process and how to properly care for the tattoo. The final result was so worth all the "torture". I couldn't stop looking at my arm and smiling over it. We've received so many compliments and how the tattoo is very true to our personalities. Can't say anything for the artist but the receptionist was extremely rude and insulting in regards to a tattoo that was in the progress of being finished by another artist's shop. 0 starts for whoever was working the front desk on 2/11/17. My daughter and I went in with very specific tattoos we wanted to get.  A heart with the word family in it for our wrist. The front desk girl said it couldn't be done as it is too small of an area to put lettering. She then tells me I can do a 3d heart with a banner in it with the word family on my wrist. Which makes no sense why you could do that but not an outline. (Up selling, I get it) then I say that I just want simple outlining and she tells me that the tattoo I want is "a Walmart sticker" and that "THIS is an art gallery,  not any old tattoo shop down the street" not only did she lose out on  repeat customers, she also lost out on a generous tipper! Bad business to talk down to your customers and even worse business to insult the customers idea of art that they want. I will make sure to tell everyone I know how I was spoken to. I feel sorry for the artists at the shop that will lose income because of this girl. Read Less

Grover did my husbands sleeve over 4yrs ago while stationed at ft lewis and I've been in love with his work since! I was so excited when we found out he was still in Wa since we just pcs'd back here and now I have my sleeve started and can't wait for the next upcoming sessions!
