I would not recommend this place for piercing, they are very dirty and there jewelry is all over the place. They didn't clean or sanitize anything. I will never walk in this shop again and I hope no one else will. Read Less

I'm just going to start by saying that Matt and Damian are characters that require a strong personality. They have always been welcoming and very helpful with questions and ideas. They are a father/son dynamic duo, and are great at what they do. I've had all my 20+ piercings done here. None of them have gotten infected, and the process is usually pretty quick and mostly painless. The prices are standard, with jewelry included. Matt does amazing work, and although he hasn't done a piece on me yet I've seen him work on many other people and I am always amazed by how it looks afterwards. This shop is rated R for rad. Came to Hardline for my very first ink over a decade ago. Lived all over the country and I always end up coming back to this one shop for work when I am in town. My tattoo looks TERRIBLE. It healed terribly because he went too deep, causing the ink the ghost. I'm so disappointed I gave them my money. I couldn't tell it would be this horrible until it healed. It was the most painful healing process of all 6 tattoos I've had. I didn't rip the scabs off, didn't get infected. It took for EVER to heal. Don't risk it. Maybe all of their artists aren't that bad, but the guy I saw was. How the owner could let that happen is boyond me. Read Less

I have been to several parlors for piercings and tattoos in my short life and I am so happy with the two piercings I got here. I was honestly worried I would end up with at least one being crooked but that didn't happen ((I've had crooked piercings before and it SUCKS!!!)) On top of the terrible service and rude piercer, the shop isn't very nice it looks dirty and very unorganized. All of their rings were all piled up on top of each other very messy. I do not recommend you go here, very unwelcoming and on top of that the piercing might be infected. Read Less

Matt is a very talented tattoo artist. He is also is very kind (I was a huge wimp and probably asked him a thousand questions because I was so scared) and really knows what he is doing. He isn't a jerk about things, and he does a really good job of taking what tattoo you want, and perfecting it to you. I have gotten three tattoos and one piercing from him, and I will continue going back. His shop has a personality of it's own, and it's really fun and comfortable inside. Went to Matt Winter to get my art done after the Seahawks won the Super Bowl (see above photo). . . Matt has a great shop just on the outskirts of Monroe, Washington. Hardline is a fantastic balance of professional and clean as it is a fun parlor with many personalities with many stories to tell. As you can see from the work, very fine and it was pretty fast while carrying a great price. This shop is awesome. I had a pretty large intricate tattoo that I wanted completely re-done, and I couldn't be happier with my decision to come here. I called to make my appointment with Matt and somehow it didn't get written down, so when I showed up Matt didn't know about it. Which hey, it happens. But he was still great about it and got me right in. Considering this was a very time-consuming tattoo, I thought it was pretty cool of him to be so nice about it and still get it done since I had come all that way. I would have understood if he had to postpone it considering he had no idea he was signed up to do it that day. The work turned out AMAZING. There are so many colors in this tattoo, and I had pretty much lost faith in it ever looking great as it wasn't done very well the first time (different artist, different shop). He went over every single line and brought a whole new life to it! He gave me a pretty awesome deal on it, and made sure that I knew to come back if it needed any touch-ups but surprisingly it hasn't. I have other friends that have had tattoos done by him, and they are all just as happy. He is also very honest about telling you what will and won't work well when it comes to placement, colors, etc. while still respecting your ideas and desired result. Have had two piercing and a tattoo done here and have been really pleased with the work. Had a nose pierce done last year and sadly had to have it removed a week later for a MRI, Mat was great he took it out replaced it with a plastice stud, told me to come back in after the MRI and he would place it back it in.Going in this week for two more tattoos. Matt has done tattoos for myself and one of my daughters, pierced my other daughters belly button, and done a couple piercings for me.  My tattoo gets so many compliments and it is so beautifully done.  My youngest can't wait for her first tattoo from Matt. Matt has done a couple of tattoos for my family and I LOVE his work. I'm already planning my next one, two and three. His work is amazing!!! I get so many compliments from people about my latest tattoo, even from people that don't like tattoos. One of the many things I like about him is he will tell it to you straight. If he thinks what you want won't look good, you'll know. So if you can't handle uncensored honesty, you might want to find someone else.
