We're new to Lynnwood from Seattle and I just got on Yelp to research shops. Corey answered the phone and was super friendly while we talked through all my questions--BOTH times I called. Ive been tattooed multiple times before but having recently moved I knew nothing about the local shops in town. Did a bunch of research before saying "fuck it" and ended up here. Everyone here is super friendly and they keep the shop in top clean condition. I got booked with Alicia as a last minute "walk-in" and shes the sweetest person alive. I got a simple heart on my ring finger but she redrew it multiple times even after I told her I was happy with it because she wanted it PERFECT! & I couldn't be happier. 100% recommend this girl for your future ink. Brian is so awesome! He got my friend and I in for walk in appointments this afternoon and did the best work for us. My friend is in love with her "acceptance" tattoo. The lettering is so fine and delicate and definitely better work than her other lettering. I got two small tattoos, a semicolon (if you don't know the meaning check out Project Semicolon) and a kettlebell. I love the shading on the kettlebell. Both tattoos are tiny and delicate but have great lines and shading despite the size. I really appreciate the time Brian took with us to make sure the placement and look was just right. The shop itself is clean, modern and beautiful. All of the health and safety precautions were on point. I wish I had gotten one of my other tattoos here. After my first tattoo experience with a guy who didn't really care about the quality of his work or making the customer feel very welcome, I wasn't expecting a lot in terms of customer service, but man did Brian change my mind.I spontaneously decided that I wanted to get a design I'd been thinking about for a while and called Good Karma - they fit me into an opening within 40 minutes! I know not everyone goes about their tattoos this way, but for me it was pretty sweet.I emailed Brian a couple designs and he altered them a bit for me and got to work. The shop is clean, staff friendly, and Brian worked fast and efficiently. I love the clean line work of my little guy, it wasn't awfully complicated but Brian did a really nice job and made me feel really comfortable. Good Karma Tattoo is fantastic! I can't say enough good things. For my first tattoo I wanted a simpler, solid black design on my foot (the symbolism of which meant a lot to me). After being met with "mightier than thou" and "above doing your basic tattoo idea" attitudes when inquiring at other shops, I nearly resolved to not get a tattoo. But a good friend said I must go see Chani at Good Karma. She was so right!Chani was extremely welcoming and receptive during my initial consultation. She patiently answered all my questions and listened to my ideas and gave very good advice. I never felt like I was being talked down to or judged - it is very clear Chani treats every tattoo with care and respect - a TRUE professional! She even agreed to meet with me for a 2nd consultation a week prior to my appointment to review the design so I could have extra time to make sure I was 100% happy with it. What she drew up on the 1st try was just perfect. On the day of the tattoo Chani  continued to be awesome! She didn't make me feel rushed with placement and let me re-do it as much as I wanted (with zero irritation on her part). While tattooing she kept making sure I was doing okay - which i was! 20 minutes later I had the exact tattoo I wanted! Her skill of clean lines really shows - It looks like a computer printed out my tattoo (and I mean that as a very high complement! Clean perfection). The next day I had zero redness or irritation/pain at that tattoo sight. Just a rad piece of art!The shop itself is very clean as well, and the decoration gives it a great vibe. Lots of parking too. I went to Micah after seeing the fantastic work he did on my sister. Not only is he a great artist, he is also a super cool guy! He's very chill, funny and easy to talk to. I had a rough idea for an art nouveau style cat tattoo, but I wasn't sure how to make it come together. Micah totally got what I wanted and made it even better then I imagined! He makes sure you're happy every step of the way and also has great ideas and suggestions. I've been back to Micah since, to work on a few of my older tattoos. He fixed a really bad cover up and made it even better then I expected! He works quickly and you can tell he cares about doing the very best job possible. Dylan recently completed a tattoo for my boyfriend that looks great.  Yesterday it was my turn.  He took my idea and turned it into a nice piece of art.  I really appreciate his work.  I know one, or both, of us will be back for more work with Dylan, which is the best compliment you can give.  I will also drop off a gift of appreciation for him.  This was my first tattoo experience and I felt fully informed and very pleased with the outcome.I will note that some of the other artists were a bit loud and having "interesting" conversations for us to overhear.  Can't say I appreciated that too much, but it is what it is.  I challenge one particular individual to complete a sentence without a swear word in it. Just got my first tattoo done here. Worked with Dylan. He was super chill, informative, and together we creating a piece that sprouted from my idea. I'm more than happy with it and am happy I walked into this place. I didn't know where else to go only knowing this place was close to where I live.I was able to get the tattoo done right away, no waiting or appointment. The first hour was spent brainstorming until finally coming to an agreement on what it would be. A first tattoo can be nerve wracking. Dylan walked me through the process and was quick but very efficient. His work is impressive. My tattoo was relatively simple but I saw his other pieces and they were definitely first rate. The pricing was extremely reasonable and affordable. He didn't try to jack up the pricing after I added to my original idea. I tipped him well, as he deserved it.
