I find it odd that a tattoo shop would not have a website that displays all of their artist and their respective portfolios. Based on the photos posted to their Facebook page, there are a few that are ok but 90% of them are horrendous. I know several people that have gone there and all of their tattoos look like thy were done by an amateur. I'm guessing it may only be one bad artist but I could be wrong. On April 26th, 1997 I went in to German's to get my first tattoo ever. I asked for a simple tattoo, my name in Old English writing. Since then, I have had the most scarred, lopsided tattoo. There are two C's in my last name and they are different. I remember the guy who gave me the tattoo was a dirty, biker looking guy. I should have suspected something was up when EVERY employee of the shop came in and checked on his work. That did no good whatsoever. Anytime a friend of mine says they plan to go to German's, I roll up my sleeve and let them judge for themselves. I am sure this guy no longer works there, and it is possible that the store does better work but as long as this is on my arm, this review stands. Read Less

This is my 2nd time going to Germans, the first time was over 10 yrs ago (Same Mgt) so I thought it would be great to go back to the first place I ever received a tattoo at. Customer service was ok, but it left you feeling like you were just another number and they wanted to hurry you up to get the next person in. They didn't review afer care instructions and were pretty "short" w/their answers. I wasn't impressed and I actually 2 more tattoos I'm getting but I won't be going back to German's. Read Less

I went back there about 6 months ago & got my first tattoo! They were AWESOME! My husband and I got a tattoo & they even cut us a special for having his tattoo on his back shaded & it was no little tattoo, it goes from shoulder to shoulder! I'm heading back there this week hopefully for another tattoo & I couldn't think of ANYONE better to do it! They are professional, nice, laid back & very realistic with their prices! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! My only thing that I wish they had was when you call them, there was a way to hear their hours or if it was posted on a site, so I could figure it out! :) Read Less

My husband has gotten 5 tattoos from Heidi in the last 2 years. Even though they have moved locations a few times we still keep following them. They have great prices and selections. They have great artists. They are very curtious, clean and professional. Would not go any were else!!! Our daughter is turning 18 soon. i've been there a few times and both heidi and mario were able to help with what i wanted. i just got my second tattoo from there and it turned out exactly how i wanted it. i will go there again to get my tattoos done. the prices are reasonable and the service there is excellent, so far i've been very satisified with what i've wanted Read Less

I went there today and I was really unimpressed. I have lots of tattoos and when I went in there I started telling the guy what I wanted and he pretty much blew me off. It's poorly lit and when I asked to see a portfolio, they told me I can look online and walked away. The more I was asking about colors and shading the more I got the impression that my questions were bothering them. So I would only recommend this place if you want to get a simple piece of flash that won't take up too much of their time. Read Less

I've been to a few tattoo shops, and germans tattoo was by far the best one yet. Mario and Hiedi were very helpful at getting me what I wanted, and at very fair price. I'm not from Washington, but if I'm ever back up here, I will pay them another visit. Read Less
