I got my tongue pierced by Ali and she did a substantial job! She was kind, respectful, and knew exactly what she was doing. My tongue has already healed and I had 0 issues. If I had to do it 10 times more id pick Ali every time. I want be going any other places I'll come here for all my tattoo and piercing needs. As for the comment below pertaining to her being rude Ali was never once rude to me she told me from the straight she couldn't Mark my tongue cause the ink would just wash away. I have been seeing Ross for all my tattoo work for years now. He just started a sleeve for me and I could not be happier. His lines are so clean and he's not limited to one style of work. It's impressive the amount of focus these artists can have on your ink all the while shooting each other shit and making you laugh. It's always a good time and hilarious conversation. Incredibly important IMO while you're sitting there getting a tattoo which obviously isn't painless. I've seen all the artists' work at aces and eights. You can't go wrong. I got my tongue pierced here two days ago and had to take it out yesterday. The girl (who didn't give me her name) who pierced me, sat me down in the chair, and I told her I had my tongue pierced before. It was in the perfect spot, I never had any issues with it, no lisp, swelling was down three days, it was perfect, so I wanted it in the same spot. She asked if it was okay to pierce it "a little further down" towards the tip of my tongue to avoid scar tissue. I was fine with that, she pointed out the scar so I assumed she would pierce right below it. She put the clamp on my tongue and immediately pierced me. She didn't mark the spot, she didn't show me where I was about to get my piercing, she didn't count to three, nothing. Once I got to look at my piercing, still in the shop, I was in absolute shock. She pierced an entire centimeter (that's a lot of space on a tongue) away from my scar and HALF A CENTIMETER from the end of my tongue. She literally pierced the TIP of my tongue. When I pointed it out, she literally said, I quote her words exactly, "Well, you still have to pay for the service. I like it. You can always take it out and get it repierced somewhere else." I was in aw. My friends stood there speechless. I payed her, thanked her, and left. I took it out because it was so far forward it hit my teeth when I made any sound like "th, s, t," and gave me a lisp. Let me clarify, I have had my tongue pierced before and I did NOT have a lisp, and it did NOT hit my teeth. This girl LITERALLY pierced my tongue INCORRECTLY. DO NOT GO HERE. I went in to get my first big piece and ali was a big help and made sure my experience was beyond amazing! One thing I love about ali is anything picture you show her that you want for a tattoo she will make it her own so it's an original! Ali is super light on the needle so I never feel me even getting tattooed ! The shop is super clean and all the employees are amazing and hilarious! I always have a memorable experience every time I step my foot through the front door! I love ali so much that I keep  going back and getting more and more tattoos from her! since they got this review removed somehow: i went to this shop to ask about some simple script. as soon as i opened my mouth to explain what i was looking for I was openly mocked by the old skinhead looking guy. i said i wasn't sure what kind of script i wanted but i wanted something classic, he interrupted me saying "classic? what does that mean? what are you talking about? i don't know what "classic" means". it was strange and i was really surprised by the hostility and had no idea what caused it.he laughed in my face and got hostile when I asked why he was condescending to me. I've never felt more disrespected by an employee anywhere then when i left, i realized i was wearing my star of david and i'm fairly certain than was his issue. so not only is this a shitty shop, they're also probably racists. I first found this place last summer upon chance.  I yelped it and I saw that this shop had great reviews.  Went in with my friends and decided I wanted a small tattoo.  My artist was Ross.  He did excellent work on the tat of my choice.  Fast forward to this year, recently, I decided to get a cover-up tat and change it.  Of course, I went back to Ross as I believe one should allow the original artist to work on their art.  The best decision ever!!!  Ross covered my old tattoo with a peacock feather I wanted.  He designed the feather to how he felt would look great against my body and the location of where it is.  He really is brilliant.  The shading, the color.... everything is pristine!!  He definitely takes his time as every artist should, so that you know that he is taking great care and has very good attention towards what he is doing.  After all, once it's on, it's on.  This took place just last week, but the tat is healing very nicely and you can't even see the old tattoo underneath which from my understanding is hard to do unless the artist knows exactly what they're doing; which, Ross definitely does!!!  Hands down, the best shop and artist, by far!! :)  Go there and set up an appointment with Ross!  You will not be disappointed! First tattoo experience, I checked out several shops before settling on Aces and Eights. My biggest concern was that the parlor be clean, and A&E was spotless. All of the staff was helpful and the place had a great atmosphere, fun artists and classic rock playing. I felt so welcomed that I decided to get the tattoo right then, which they accommodated. Ali sat down with me and worked out every detail until I was happy with it, and made sure she had it positioned perfectly before beginning. She did a fantastic job and for a fair price. Fantastic. Absolute professional quality and skill. The place is so damn clean it practically glows. I have been tattooed at most shops in this town over the years and this is the only one I will definitely return to. The skill and kind demeanor of the artists is surprising and really appreciated. They are happy to talk out what you want, what will work and how to do it~ they WANT to give you exactly what you want. They aren't hipster assholes trying to impress each other by being the biggest jerk to their customers. They are nice REALLY skilled artists that want to do a good job. BEST TATTOO SHOP IVE GONE TO BY FAR IN WASHINGTON.I'm stationed in ft. Lewis and was looking for a tattoo shop around the area that does extremely clean and meticulous work.... i found it, these guys do portraits, Japanese and traditional style tattoos. They also have great prices, when i first went in to check the spot out i was already greeted and asked what i had in mind to get, they could tat me as soon as later that evening. the facility is extremely clean, with a nice little vibe to it.
