Both Thommy and Justin are a combination of professional and laid back. Easy to talk to, and work with, all while creating wearable art out of an idea you bring to them. There's a big screen they'll happily play a movie on, or blast whatever music at your request. The shop is exactly as name implies: creative. It used to be a drive thru coffee stand, but is now beautifully repurposed. There's lots to look around at and let your mind explore while you're being worked on. The inside as you can imagine is pretty small, so I wouldn't recommend bringing a friend or significant other to hang out.I'm extremely happy with all three pieces I've received and will definitely be returning for more. What can I say?! I've gotten 2 tattoos from Kenneth Bywater & absolutely love them!! He did a fix on my wrist & for the first time in 1 1/2 years I'm proud to show off my wrist. I went to him again for my tattoo on my foot. It is near & dear to my heart so I had to trust the artist. He did it justice. Well, to start off the stencil that Tommy sent me had me in tears so I knew that once I got my tattoo I would be amazed. And amazed falls short in comparison to have I feel. Words cannot describe how in love I am with this piece. It is a special piece, something that I can remember my great grandma with. I keep looking at it in shock because it feels unreal. Thommy is not only an amazing tattoo artist but he is an outstanding person as well! I had an old tattoo on my back that I wanted covered up before my wedding. The cover-up took longer than either of us expected but he fit me in wherever he could to make sure it was done in time. He even came in on a holiday!
